I'm the Descendant of the Goddess Eat?
Chapter 5: The Descendants of the Goddess Eat?

"...and the only way out of that world is to become the Queen of Cooking. So ..."

Seeing the inscription Retia became reminded of the inscription on the altar, there also written the same thing, "Be the Queen of Cooking, what does it mean?" inner Retia wondered.

There's no other choice. Retia came out of the room with the old cookbook and the new frying pan, because the old one had dented into Hans' head.

Hans was still at that place, still tying Tyranwing up like the first time they met. Just like before, Hans seemed surprised when Retia came out of the secret room.

"You! you said I was 'Descendant of the Goddess of Eating'. What is the Goddess of Eating?" Retia yelled out to Hans resuscitating him from shock, then asked him.

"You don't know? You're not the Descendant Goddess Eat?" Hans asked back.

"Who is the Goddess of Eating?!" retia asked, snapping while threatening Hans with a frying pan, again.

"The Goddess eats, yes... Goddess Eat. You are asking a strange question, shouldn't my fellow Goddess know more about it than I do?"

Retia was silent for a moment, she had no idea why Hans was constantly thinking of her as a Goddess, whereas she had done nothing special other than hitting her head with a frying pan. "Are only the gods allowed to hit the head?" inner Retia.

If left like this, the misunderstanding will continue, therefore Retia thought to pretend to be a Goddess only, so the level of danger that approached her will also shrink. It's great if Retia can be served like a Queen in a fairy tale world. Besides being worshiped of course.

"Of course I know, I was just asking because I wanted to know how people in this world know our beloved Goddess of Food." Retia lied, if she is a descendant of the Goddess of Food, it would be great to raise the degree of Goddess of Food so that the privilege is also decreased to her.

"Ah, so so. Then I will lead the way. However, before that, can I finish binding this first?" hans asked who started taking off his backpack.

"Yes, hurry up." Retia gave the order.

Hans without answering immediately completed his bond. Opening the backpack then began to insert Tyranwing from the direction of his head. Amazingly, the small backpack could fit Tyranwing tens of times larger in size. Retia has high hopes, that in this strange world there is some kind of magic and if there is fantasy animal magic like Unicorn and Pegasus there must be.

Retia can't wait to see the beautiful animal with her own two eyes and if lucky maybe she can drive it. Sounds like an empty dream on Earth, but here it seems like anything can happen, right?

"May I know, how should I call you?" hans asked who was ready to leave.

"Retia, please call me, Miss Retia," Retia replied. His chest was soaring, though thin it was still puffed up.

"Well, No-na Re-tia, right? Then, I will tell you about the story of the Goddess Eating while walking."

"Where?"

"Temple of the Goddess Eat."

About sixty-six years ago, a Goddess descended upon a small village called Glagash. The goddess was very fond of eating and cooking, therefore people started to call her as the Goddess of Eating. It is said that whatever food is made and eaten by the Goddess of Eating then the taste will be very extraordinary.

Dewi Makan is said to be a very good figure, she shared her recipe with people without taking anything in return. It is his kindness that has amazed and fallen many people. One of them was the previous King, Maleon Ragnald. He was very infatuated with the Goddess of Eating.

However, not even a year since his arrival to this world, the Goddess of Eating suddenly disappeared. The Goddess Eat appeared from the void air and then disappeared back into the air.

Many people began to search for the existence of the Goddess of Food, but none of them found her. One of the residents of Glagash Village accused King Maleon Ragnald of confining Dewi Makan after his declaration of love was rejected, and vice versa. Residents of Glagash Village are accused of poisoning the mind of the Goddess of Eating so that the Goddess returns to the God Realm by the Nobles supporting King Maleon Ragnald.

The two camps heated up until the King gave the Commandments by swearing to the Souls of the previous Kings. The contents of the order were to isolate the citizens of Glagash Village and shut down all its access to the towns.

Residents of Glagash Village did not accept, especially those who were fanatical towards the Goddess of Food, a hundred of them secretly sneaked and managed to kill all the descendants of the King except the second Prince, Matiger Ragnald, who was the only one of them, at that time, he was not in the palace. In the end, one hundred of them also died in the hands of the guards. King Maleon still did not accept what happened. He then lowered the oath and cursed Glagash Village at the cost of his own life.

Then now, Glagash Village was no longer around, changing its name to a forbidden territory or a cursed territory. It is known as the Reona Area. Taken from the name of the Goddess of Food, Reona Anggraini.

Hearing Hans's story, Retia became convinced that Hans was not crazy and true that he was a descendant of the Goddess of Food, because the Grandmother named Reona Anggraini. However, Retia was still very curious as to why Hans was able to recognize her and why Hans' expression looked at her with disdain when they had just met, even now Hans was still avoiding looking at her directly.

Retia was very curious.

Horned Rabbit, Winged little Snake, Deer with flowers on its horns, there are countless unusual Animals along the way. Retia continued to observe with awe, as well as regret at not being able to capture the creatures into the picture.

Hans stood on a rock cliff, then said, "Here we go, the damned Glagash Village."

Retia walked up the rock cliffs, standing side by side with Hans, just below them, there was a village whose buildings were all destroyed and abandoned. However, there is one building that still stands majestically, in front of the building there is a very large black stone and also hundreds of graves.

"Do you see any good buildings there? It was the Goddess of Eating Temple. While the grave that surrounds the Temple is the tomb of the followers of the Goddess Eat." Hans explained.

"Then, let's get down," Hans asked, but Retia felt that something was wrong with Hans' way of thinking. Whether Hans was indeed a brave person or indeed had no thoughts, and to be sure of that, Retia asked Hans, "Is it okay for us to go there? Didn't you just say the village was cursed?"

"Ah, you're right. Unfortunately the curse does not apply to the Gods. So, there's nothing to be afraid of."

"How are you sure about that? Have any other Gods or Goddesses ever been here?" ask Retia seriously. If there really was another God or Goddess who had been here, it meant that there was someone from Earth other than her.
