"How are you sure about that? Have any other Gods or Goddesses ever been here?" ask Retia seriously. If there really was another God or Goddess who had been here, it meant that there was someone from Earth other than her.
Either that means good or bad. However, if there was anyone else, the situation in the future seemed to be very complicated.
"No, only the Goddess of Eating has come in the past hundred years," Hans replied casually.
Retia was a little relieved. To be honest there was a hint of fear when he heard that there was someone else from Earth who was here. Judging from the buildings in Glagash Village, Retia can ensure that this place is much more backward than Earth. If there is anyone other than her in this world and that person is utilizing the knowledge from Earth to gain power, Retia may be in danger of potentially doing the same.
"Then, how do you know that the Goddesses cannot be cursed?" Retia asked back.
"You like asking weird questions, huh? Aren't you currently not cursed? The curse that the previous King had cast covered a whole area, it was also the reason not only Glagash Village was isolated" Hans replied.
Hans and Retia's steps began to tilt, now they have gone down the hill.
"What kind of curse is that?" Retia asked back. Fear of the curse being on an invisible part of his body or even the curse was just slow walking on him.
"Magical Poison, it can create physical mutations and physical disorders on the body of a Living Being. You saw it for yourself, didn't you? The animals in this place all have something in common."
"They have a shell on one part of their body?"
"Absolutely. The shell was one form of the most numerous physical mutations, the rest of their bodies were gnawed by parasitic flowers and the others grew horns and tiny wings on certain parts of the body."
"So that's why the animals here are so strange, what outside of Reona's territory are the animals still normal?" inner Retia, but still choose to keep her questions tight. No one likes spoilers in this world.
Retia wanted to ask Hans further about the curse, but when she saw Hans' hand wrapped in a steel shell, Retia withdrew her intention and chose to remain silent despite feeling awkward.

Glagash Village is dead. A kind of collapsed city that wasn't even worth living in. Cemetery and plants are scattered here and there. Terrible, lonely gripping. There was no one but Hans and Retia. The two continued to walk straight following the path of the brick road, although sometimes had to rotate when meeting a tomb in the middle of the road. I don't know which madman buried the genie there.
Retia is a little distracted and scared. His mind started to get weird, illusions toyed with his psychological perceptions. Sometimes Retia turned her gaze back because she felt being watched, sometimes she was surprised to hear her own heart.
Finally they reached the Goddess of Eating Temple. There is nothing special outside of the Temple, but inside it is quite unique because of the Temple of worship, the place was more like a restaurant or a food stall with many tables and benches lined up face to face.
"What is this.. Didn't you say this place is a temple? Why does it look like a restaurant?" ask Retia.
"Because this place was once a Restaurant owned by the Goddess of Food, then after its name is famous, this place turned into a place where the Goddess of Food teaches how to cook and recipes to people."
Hans took out one random roll of parchment that was on the shelf, then gave it to Retia.
[Parchment: Parchment is a written material made of animal skin. ]
"What's this?" ask Retia.
"That's one of the Goddess of Eating recipe books, try reading it."
Retia opened the parchment, but nothing was written there.
"All the recipes and knowledge taught by the Goddess of Eating disappeared with him, whether it was written on parchment or that had been memorized out of the head. Everything disappeared along with the air. Too bad, no one knows the taste of his cooking other than those who are old."
Hearing Hans explanation, Retia became reminded of the books in the secret room. In addition to the warehouse, there are also shelves of ancient books that were previously scattered by Retia. If the recipe of the Goddess of Food has disappeared, it means that the ancient recipe book in her hand is one of the magical food recipes made by the Goddess of Food that disappeared.
"Hans, can you take me back to where we first met?" ask Retia. His intentions were straight to master the knowledge of the Goddess of Eating about cooking, a goal that was far from pure, but no one could oppose it either.
"Sure, but what do you want to do there?" Hans agrees, but is quite interested in Retia's goal of getting back there. Maybe a little scared thinking once again that the Goddess of Eating would disappear from this world.
"There's something I need to take in that place, maybe you'll like~"

Retia and Hans return to where they first met. Climb the hills, walk through the forest, rest, and eat Hans' dry meat supplies. Until they finally reached their destination.
Retia immediately went inside while Hans prepared to set up the tent, as the day began to touch his dark spot.
Hans took out a ring with a red stone as his eyes. Look around, find a suitable place. Once his location had been determined, Hans rubbed the red stone in the ring which then emitted a dazzling light.
One by one the tent parts began to come out, starting from the supporting iron, straps, and animal skin that stretched, all out from within the ring stone. Retia must be sorry for not being able to see the magical sight. All the parts then came together and built a tent with incredible speed. What a practical technology far greater than the Modern Earth.
Retia then came out with a cloth bag full of the grandmother's cooking notes. His face could not help but smile, a cloth bag leaned against his back from his shoulders. Now Retia looks more like a Goblin Thief than a Goddess.
"What did you bring?" Hans asked.
"Oh, this? Here are some recipes from the Goddess of Eating, would you like to see them?"
Retia seems too excited to think ahead or may have been intoxicated by the word 'Feeding Goddess'. If Hans had bad intentions, it was possible that all the books were stolen by him.
"I Had doubts about you, but I'm not anymore."
Hans approaches Retia, making the girl regress, but is forced to stop by a tree trunk.
"Huh? Whatchu mean?" retia asked who was now starting to get scared because Hans who had been seen avoiding being close to her now approached until her scent could be smelled by Retia.
An unsheathed ancient recipe book tries to threaten Hans not to cross the line.
"Miss Retia, you don't seem to know much about this world, do you?" ask Hans.
"Eh? I-I know, I know!"
Hearing Retia's reply, Hans smiled. His hand moved and grasped the hand of Retia holding the ancient recipe book. Translucent, Hans arm pierced through the recipe book just like that.
"What's? How come?" Retia was confused as to what Hans was doing including some kind of magic, but the next question was, "What's Hans doing that for?"
"seen? You don't even know that objects from the God Realm can't be touched and seen by Manusi—
"What's!? but couldn't you just hit me?!" cut out Retia who doesn't believe Hans' words. Obviously Retia once hit Hans on the head which even evidence of the bump still exists today.
Hans who was upset his explanation was cut off, hitting Retia's head down.
"You should have listened to the end if you had a lot of questions. The reason why you were able to hit Me back then was because the weapons from the God Realm could only be used by Gods. Ordinary human beings like Me can only feel the impact even if you intend to make us feel, but not by looking. Even when the Goddess ate first, no one had ever seen her knife."
Retia paused for a moment and thought, "Doesn't that mean I don't have to fear that these books will be stolen?" Now he's happier than ever.
"This is, wear it for a while" Hans said, giving the tunic a pale yellow dress.
Seeing that Retia felt uncomfortable. Why should he wear such rough and unsightly clothes, wouldn't it be better to wear what he's wearing now?
"No, I'm comfortable like this" Retia refused.
"Should I repeat it again? All objects that come from the God realm cannot be touched and seen by ordinary humans, it also applies to the clothes on your body."
"EEHH!!!??"
