I'm the Descendant of the Goddess Eat?
Chapter 24: Be My Concubine!

On the banks of the Berrew forest river, Retia is seen busy breaking chunks of ice and removing flying fish from it. Previously, Retia again got a mission that asked her to cut the flying fish while avoiding the poison bag. With moonlight and a small campfire beside her, Retia looked so solemn and focused, if one sliced, she would most likely die from poisoning.

In the midst of the mission, Khan comes to Retia. The Landlord looked very fresh, even his presence felt even more gripping than before.

"Oh, are you awake, sir?"

"Yes, just now."

Khan sat on one of the rocks, staring at Retia who had not stopped releasing the hard skin of the flying fish.

"By the way, what are you doing here?" Khan asked.

"I'm practicing cutting" Retia replied.

"With flying fish?"

"Yes, because the flying fish must be sliced perfectly so that the poison sac does not break and the meat is not damaged. It's the best material to practice."

Khan exhaled heavily, his glance blank, then stood up and walked in front of Retia.

"You seem to really want to win that competition, don't you?" Kahn asked again.

"It's been my dream since childhood."

"Well, what a pity. Being the Queen of Cooking is a dream of many girls. In addition to the big prize, winning the competition can also make your family caste lifted."

"Yes." Yeah."

Retia actually did not know and no matter what the prize was, for sure, she wanted to feel victory, that was all.

"However, if you lose, come to me. You might be my concubine if you work a little harder, hahaha!"

"Sorry, I have to refuse."

"If you will, then I will teach you how to cut, it happens that my hand has started to improve. For example, like this."

Khan moved his hand, making the remaining dozens of flying fish lift up in the air. Khan pulled out his sword, pulled it from its sheath for a while, slashed it very quickly, then put it back in.

"How are you interested?" ask Khan.

"What are you... Oh?"

..."Mission complete? Even if I didn't finish it?"...

Khan moved his hand again, lowering the fish in front of Retia. All of them have perfect lines. Even when Retia checked, the pieces were very good even far away from the Retia pieces that the system helped with.

..."So this, the perfect cutting skill level?" inner Retia. To be honest, Retia was eager to learn how to cut from the Khan. However, no woman on the modern earth wants to be a concubine....

"So, how? Are you interested, be my concubine later?" Khan again offers, but Retia stays on his feet. Retia shook her head making Khan put on a sour face.

"Come to me if you're interested, there's still four months before the cooking competition starts" Khan said, before stepping away. However, he paused on the tenth step, then went back to saying, "With your current cooking skills, you might indeed pass the registration, but not to win it, good luck."

...•••...

Retia is very tired, from physical to mental. There's too much going on today. The longing for family also makes him nervous.

..."It's been nine days, has it?" he stared at the blue moon, then chose to enter the tent....

That night everyone fell asleep, except for Khan and Jordan who were on guard and chatting together. They both discussed how to mentally strengthen the winged horse back. However, none of their plans came to fruition.

Through midnight, Hans finally returned with several other people who looked so tired and needed food and medication. Jordan wakes up his wife, while Khan goes to wake Chord, at least only he has a little knowledge of herbs despite deviating because he is an Alchemist.

As Khan guesses, Marthin and Ron get lost in the woods because a massive bear attack sets some people apart. Marthin and Ron search for them, but when they find them, they get lost.

All of the exhausted were taken to the tent for a break, while some of the people who were still able to get up and keep chose to continue the discussion on how they were to go to Kansas later in the morning.

There are only two options available, first kill the winged horse and walk to Kansas. The two killed the winged horse to create the Physical Form of the sixth level magic belonging to Khan.

"I think the second option brought a huge loss, the material from Leviathan's body was very expensive even one of its scales reached the price of five gold coins. Not to mention the white wings of the winged horse, most of the clothes of the wealthy aristocrats used those white wings as the main material for making them, the price of one flank alone was over a hundred gold." Chord gave his opinion.

"Not only that, the magic stone of the winged horse contained a higher energy-piercing power than the magic stone of the demon bull Minothorn. The Leviathan magic stone I never even heard of other than the one in the treasure vault of the Sahara Empire. Imagining what it would take from that magic stone is too far for me." Jordan added.

"Actually I don't want a second choice taken because it will make the madman even more crazy, but if we choose the first option, it's the first choice, some of those who are sick will die on the road without good treatment as soon as possible." Hans gave another opinion.

"Thank you for your insults, you son of a bitch" Khan said.

Physical Form itself is a technique to make a container for the magic energy of the sixth level magicians who are able to revive something that was once alive. Even if the container used is a Chimera that comes from a combination of several other living things. Unfortunately this technique required a life impact to make it happen, and Khan proposed to use a winged horse as the perfect collision because of the Divine Power they had.

"Because it's so late, let's end this with a vote. As Miss Chord and Jordan put it, Leviathan and flying horses were precious, but as Hans said, some of them were sick, have a high chance of dying on the road if you choose the first option. Voting begins!"

"As an Alchemist who attaches great importance to research materials, I chose the first choice." Chord.

"Yes, I'm also interested in the magic stone of the winged horse and Leviathan." Jordan agreed.

"I felt it was my fault of weakness and cowardice to make them sick like that, I chose the second choice" said Marthin.

"I'm a patron, certainly a second choice even if it goes against my heart" Hans said.

"It would be good if we had an energy source like the Leviathan magic stone, but since I am the servant of Lord Khan, this old man will choose the second option that will make his Master become stronger." Ron gave a voice.

"I chose the second option too!"

"I'm first choice."

"Fuck the material, I chose the second option!"

"Me too!"

"I..

...

...

"Well, the voting results showed that seven people voted for the first option, while nine people voted for the second option. The result is determined. In the morning, prepare yourself to lift the Leviathan material from the river. With this I disperse you, rest well."

"Good!"
