Ch 27 - The beginning of the journey

Seeing Elsa who was busy preparing a backpack when she was blind in the morning made Rifki wonder because usually Elsa would not be able to wake up at dawn if she did not wake up.

Last night it seems Elsa did not discuss her departure plans either, it is only possible if Elsa gets bad news this morning.

Seeing that Rifki had woken up, Elsa said, “Ki, after dawn, take me to Mbah Yai's grave and drop me somewhere. I feel like something happened to my friend and I have to go look for him.”

“Do I need to accompany you?” Rifki offered herself.

Elsa thought for a moment, she did not expect that Rifki would offer herself to accompany her.

Elsa feels that Rifki understands all the theories and research that Deshi has discovered more than she does.

“I don't know how big and dangerous the place is. But obviously we won't be able to find any signal there. If you really want to accompany me, I suggest you finish all your work here. Because I'm not sure how long we'll be there.” Bright Elsa.

Rifki did not expect to get such an answer. Rifki doesn't think that Elsa will let her come.

“Alright, I'll go with you. Think of this trip like our honeymoon.” Rifki said happily.

Rifki knows that Elsa is a very secretive person and it is difficult to trust anyone, even though Elsa is close to many people, but not everyone knows who Elsa really is, so if Elsa wants to let her follow her mission, it means Elsa can start believing in her.

Elsa did not expect Rifki would be very quick in making a decision.

Rifki immediately prepared his backpack.

“Although there is no signal, still bring a lot of power bank.” Elsa said to remind.

Elsa thought, even though there was no signal, at least she could still take pictures, see the time, and use a mobile phone for lighting devices temporarily.

“For what?” Ask Rifki wonder.

“For photos.” Elsa replied with a happy smile.

“It seems that you really think of this trip as a honeymoon.” Rifki Syndicate.

“Of course! You yourself said to consider it a honeymoon.” Elsa said gladly.

“Bring also portable stove, small pot, candle, dagger, rope, water, seasoning, dry food, jacket, sleeping bag, medicine box, compass, mucena…” said Rifki reminded some of the equipment commonly used for mountaineering, because it seems Elsa did not think about it.

“Ah, yes. I forgot! Thank you, Ki!” Elsa said as she ran into the kitchen.

Elsa did not think about preparing dry food.

“Why does it feel so heavy?” elsa complained after trying to lift her backpack.

“How can it be heavy? Aren't all the tools and food in my backpack?!” rifki protests.

Elsa went back to silence without daring to protest again.

Elsa and Rifki put all that in the trunk and went to school as usual.

Both believe that by following the study, the heart will become calmer and the mind becomes clearer.

Not to forget the two went to Mbah Yai's tomb to ask for his permission and blessing.

With the blessing and prayer of the teacher, both feel more courageous and confident.

“What will we do here?” Tanya Rifki was astonished to see the old house building surrounded by seemingly uninhabited trees.

But if it's just here, there can't be no signal, could there be an airplane inside? think Rifki.

Looking at the condition of the place, Elsa just smiled. However Deshi's real home and garage are underground.

“Park your car in that garage. You will find out later.” Elsa replied while pointing at the open garage with a mysterious smile.

Elsa got out of the car and pulled out their backpack.

Elsa took the key that was under the plant pot and opened the door. Then Elsa returned the key to the bottom of the pot before entering the house. It seems that the house has a mechanism that can keep it locked from the inside.

Although from the outside it looks spooky and unkempt (jaw language : singup), but the furniture in the house is quite clean as if there are people who always clean it every few days.

Elsa invites Rifki into a large room containing bookshelves.

Rifki got a glimpse of all the books written in English, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Japanese.

Rifki thought, how much money that homeowner spent on collecting that many books from different parts of the world.

Elsa is carrying a book and a hallway is open. The hallway was like an escalator leading to the basement.

After the two of them went down to the tenth floor, the elevator doors opened and displayed a bright and closed white passageway.

Elsa also pressed the main door button and a large room was visible.

“Are your friends not afraid of thieves?” Ask Rifki relax.

“No, this house is equipped with its own mechanism that does not allow unknown people to enter without permission.” Answer Elsa casually.

The room they both entered was full of CCTV monitors with a beautiful girl dressed in sexy face towards the monitor and busy typing something.

As Elsa approached, the girl turned around and walked over to greet them.

“Welcome, sir Boss!” Greet Ve to Rifki.

Ve did not even notice Elsa standing beside Rifki.

'Basic! Girls don't know thanks! Who do you think brought him here? Why don't you even see me?!’ rutuk Elsa in his heart.

Rifki was astonished to see Elsa sitting on the swivel chair while holding her forehead.

“Bos, you are really lucky to have a husband as great as a Boss.” Praise Ve sincerely while handing the notebook and pen to Rifki.

“Yes, it seems that you are really lucky, a person as stupid as you can marry me.” Syndir Rifki with telepathy.

Which automatically makes Elsa angry.

He doesn't feel like he's being too stupid, just that they're being too genius, okay!

“Means you are a fool for marrying a fool.” Reply Elsa.

Rifki smiled looking at Elsa's increasingly irritated facial expression.

“Ya, if you want to take it.” (original language anyway: Yo kono nek gelem pek oo.) Elsa said to Ve, Elsa felt herself too tired to follow their intelligence.

Rifki put her eyebrows together hearing Elsa's words, “You think I'm an item?” tanya Rifki did not accept.

Rifki frowned even more, hadn't Elsa been too relaxed?! Almost all the work of cooking, washing, ironing, cleaning Rifki who handles. Due to Elsa's weak body, Rifki can't bear to tell her to do heavy work.

Rifki notices a laptop and tries to open it. After a few minutes he understood a little the intent and outline of Deshi's research, so it was no wonder that Elsa didn't have to think long enough to bring him along.

Even if Elsa is stupid enough, but at least she still holds the principle that Mbah Yai always teaches, “Give everything to the Expert.” because “if something is not held or handled by the Expert, <TAG1>, wait for its destruction”

Deshi and Rifki both mastered the science of atomic chemistry.

It appears that Deshi has included several names that she knows her genetic frequency into the radar including Elsa and Deshi's own names.

Elsa also tried to turn on the frequency with the name Deshi, but the radar only answered with the words “Sorry your number you are calling is not exist.”

Reading the writing made Elsa feel she was on the phone and the phone number she was calling was off or out of reach.

“She is not in this world.” Elsa said in conclusion.

“I think the tool is the entrance to another world.” Rifki said after observing a tube one meter in diameter with a height of two meters and has an entrance that is also made of glass.

Rifki began to observe the control panel and how the tool works more thoroughly.

“Maybe we can go, but I don't know if we can come back again.” Rifki's comment recalled the tool being so large that it was impossible for them to carry it.

Looking at the tool, Elsa began to recall what Deshi had said to her when creating the tool.

“Deshi once said he used some sort of magic formation like the one used to make teleportation gates. Since he could not find spiritual stones, and other magic tools in this world, he replaced them with other energy sources.”.

Rifki scanned the floor of the tube and found an array of strange symbols.

Rifki also began to photograph and memorize the arrangement of the symbol.

It seems that they can return to this world using the array of symbols provided that they can find a source of energy that can activate them.

After no longer feeling worried, Rifki also began explaining how to activate the tool on Ve.

Rifki then asked Elsa to get ready immediately and bring some additional tools that might help.

After some additional preparation, the two of them steadily entered the tube and asked Ve to activate it from the outside.

A dazzling beam of light appeared enveloping the entire glass tube.

Rifki and Elsa closed their eyes avoiding the blinding light.

Elsa's heart skipped a beat, she felt her entire body shaken violently and she involuntarily hugged the body of Rifki who was nearby.

Elsa feels like she is on an airplane that is experiencing turbulence and will fall at any time.

Rifki also seemed to know Elsa's panic and tried to give her peace.

They both hugged each other to give it peace.

Sing…

Soon, the earth stopped shaking and the dazzling light began to fade.

As soon as the light faded, they tried to open their eyes, both disappointed that they were still in the laboratory.

“Sorry boss, it seems I still can't do it right.” Ve said from the outside.

Realizing that, Elsa immediately broke free from Rifki's embrace. The faces of both of them were flushed with shame as if they had done something shameful.

“You two are married, you no longer need to feel ashamed, boss!” Ve said while laughing resuscitated them.

Hearing that, it felt like Elsa was knocking on Ve's head.

“Try you press the button according to the order .. “ said Rifki calmly and elegantly again giving further instructions. It seems that he was not affected at all.

Ve tried to follow Rifki's instructions and tried it back.

Before long Elsa felt the earth tremble violently and a dazzling light reappear.

Elsa suddenly felt panic and fear.

The whole stomach of Elsa seemed to want to come out.

Elsa grabs Rifki's body to support her.
