Chapter 14

Bagaskara invited Aqilah to the Dewa subscription restaurant first, to buy lunch so that when Rinjani and his two children came home there was food. Even Aqilah also ordered broccoli vegetables specifically for Attar.

People will think that Bagaskara and Aqilah are father and son, because they are so familiar. The laughter of the two men was seen, while waiting for their order.

"Why is Om Bagas so kind to me and my family?" ask Aqilah in the end after all this time she was quiet.

"Should there be any particular reason someone should do good to someone else?" bagaskara asked back and it made Aqilah speechless. It is true that if we do good there is no need for special reasons, except for God.

“True what Om Bagas said, but instead we should have intentions in our hearts while doing something. Father said when we do a job it must be because of God, so that we can get the reward in all these deeds,” explained Aqilah and now it is Bagaskara's turn who was made silent by the little girl.

"How about I take you and Attar to Singapore for treatment? Take it easy I will finance all the treatment," said a man named Dirgantara.

Rinjani just opened her eyes. Then, take a deep breath.

"No. Thank you for your concern, sir. Attar also gets free treatment here. In addition, I also do not want to part with my other two children" replied Rinjani. He wants to go back to dealing with money with this guy. Maybe he will become a slave for life, because he has a lot of debt to him.

It was clearly full of disappointment from the eyes of the man. In his heart he hoped that Rinjani would accept his helping hand.

"But, the treatment there is more sophisticated and your child will recover quickly," continued Dirga did not give up.

"Here also the treatment is good," replied the mother of three children.

"We also bring your other two children," said Dirga insisted.

"Om, don't impose your will on my mother!" yelled Azzam with a visibly emotional facial expression.

Dirga was silent when he saw the look on the boy's face turned red. It was seen Rinjani embracing and rubbing her son's body.

After a long debate between Rinjani and Dirga, they finally resumed their journey. Once at home, Rinjani immediately brought Attar inside and put him to sleep. Aqilah who just finished washing dishes and used to cook breakfast earlier, came over.

“Bu, how is Attar condition?” ask Aqilah.

“Alhamdulillah, all is much better,” replied Rinjani.

“Thank God, sister is happy to hear it.” Aqilah smiled widely.

The little girl also told him that Bagaskara had come to the house and bought food for them. Rinjani is increasingly curious about the figure of a man who often helps his family.

Meanwhile, Azzam and Dirga were on the front porch of the house. The two men of different generations fell silent and stared at each other.

‘Why does this brat glare at me constantly?’ [Dirga]

Not long after, Rinjani came there with a glass of water. Although Dirga was not the guest they expected to come to their home, it still had to be well entertained.

“Thank you for the ride,” reply Rinjani.

“ It's okay, anyways I need to be with you," Dirga said.

Rinjani's feelings were already erratic when she saw the eyes of the men in casual clothes. He could guess which way this man would speak to him.

Although Azzam was a child, he would always defend and look after his mother. Seeing the reaction of women who have given birth and breastfeed, does not respond to Dirga's speech. So, he can also judge that the mother does not feel comfortable with the presence of a man whose car had been hit by his late father.

"What need?" rinjani asked in a cold tone.

"Rinjani, I just want to talk alone with you," Dirga replied with a glance at Azzam for a moment.

"Not to be alone! Om and I'm not muhrim, there will be a demon so the third," said Azzam refused the request of the man who is not his family.

Rinjani was pleased to hear the words of her son who was firm and bravely disapproved of them. He also hoped that his son would become a good head of the family later.

"Just tell me what you want to talk about, let Azzam be a witness" Rinjani said with a sharp look as if penetrating into Dirga's heart.

The man was about to reveal his heart. However, he re-thought again due to the existence of the boy who would definitely bear witness to his expression of feelings. There were two possibilities that he could later feel at meeting Azzam after this confession. First, a lifetime of shame if rejected. Second, proud to have made Rinjani fall into her charms.

"I seriously want to ask for your hand, because your patience, determination, and kindness have made me fall in love with you" I Dirga and for the business of being accepted or rejected his feelings, he said, he hasn't thought about it.

Azzam was seen frowning until both eyebrows nyampe his home. The little boy thought he didn't want to have a stepfather, let alone a man like Dirga.

"I'm sorry, sir. My love for my deceased husband is still so great I will never forget in my entire life" Rinjani replied.

Dirga felt very disappointed, even though he hoped his love was welcomed by the widow. The feeling of her love for Rinjani is really her feeling. Not a lie or something.

Dirga left Rinjani's house disappointed. If the man already loves someone then his love tends to obsession. As soon as he got home, all the items that were nearby were compared to this, to vent his current feelings.

"Rinjani, I really love you!" dirga shouted and his voice filled the living room that was very large.

"Why did you reject my love? Is it because of debt? If you do, I'll release you from that debt and give you back all your money" Dirga said.

The worker who was working in the house was frightened by the sound of screaming from the owner's child. They prefer to stay silent and stay away from Dirga, until his emotions subside.

"Dirga! What the fuck?" The sound of someone's clasping distracts Dirga who is closing her eyes and turning her gaze toward the source of the sound.

"Be quiet, Bagas!" dirga did not like to be disturbed by his brother.

😱 Now you know who Bagas is? What will happen to the Rinjani family next? Wait for it to go, yeah!
