Chapter 48

"Why you?" rinjani asked with a pushy look at Bagaskara's condition, which was suddenly like a person who had been fighting.

"Just a little hurt because I was naughty," Bagaskara replied with a small laugh.

The man was holding his heartbeat so as not to let Rinjani hear the sound of his heart beating. Bagaskara's eyes were now fixed on the lips that had kissed him. It felt like he wanted to be able to feel her tenderness and warmth again.

'Oh, what am I thinking? Sins Bagas, sins! Not yet.' (Bagaskara)

"Om Bagas injured? Mother, please treat! Poor Om Bagas in pain," Pinta Attar who still wears a towel.

The two adults standing looked at each other. There was a sudden sense of nervousness and shame infiltrating their feelings.

Rinjani looked at Attar's plain and glowing eyes. The look of the eyes that he could not refuse.

"Yes, I'll treat Om Bagas's wounds. Now I'm quick to wear clothes" Rinjani said.

After finishing dressing his son's clothes, Rinjani also treated Bagaskara's wounds. He took the ointment to smear the wound on the corner of his slightly torn lip.

"Why are you getting hurt like this?" rinjani asked as she flattened the ointment at the corner of the lips.

This close distance made Bagaskara even more pounding his heart. He gulped his saliva as he looked back at the widow's ripe lips.

'O Allah, take away my dirty thoughts. Why are these eyes always unable to escape from his lips.' (Bagaskara)

"What are you guys doing?" Suddenly there was a voice that shocked the two people.

Rinjani sees her grandfather approaching them. He quickly distanced himself from Bagaskara.

"This, Cake. Is treating the wounded Bagaskara," Rinjani retorted.

"Call the doctor, let him be examined with his body" said Grandpa Atmaja with an annoyed look.

Rinjani feels something is wrong with her grandfather. Usually he will always smile at Bagaskara now showing a look of dislike.

'Grandfather why?' Rinjani looked at the old man who was now sitting in front of them while staring intently.

'Aaa, may it be that grandfather has made Bagaskara like this?'

Rinjani silently watched the two men. There was something different than usual.

"Grandfather, come with us, yuk!" Attar came and pulled Grandpa Atmaja's hand.

"Main just the same brother and sister, huh?" reply Grandpa Atmaja.

"don't want. Grandpa wanted to come too" Attar said.

Inevitably Grandpa Atmaja also went with Attar. When he left Attar had to turn his head and look at Bagaskara. The little boy gave a thumbs up to her.

'May it be a success, Om!' (Attar)

Bagaskara smiled at the behavior of Rinjani's youngest child. Seeing the man smile to himself made Rinjani frown.

"The doctor will be here any minute. So, you should rest first in the room," Rinjani said while putting her cellphone.

"I want to talk to you" said Bagaskara with a gaze that could not be seen towards Rinjani.

Rinjani sighed and sat down shifting slightly away from Bagaskara. Realizing he was too close to sit with the woman, he shifted too. So they sit at the end and end of the sofa about more than 1 meter.

"Rinjani, from tomorrow you will enter work. There may be some people who do not like your presence. If there's anything, you should call me quickly" Bagaskara said seriously.

"Yes, I'll remember. But, at least I will try first myself," Rinjani replied.

"Then," whispered Bagaskara paused for a moment, "I still seriously want to ask you. I want to take care of you and the kids. I love you and I love you guys."

Rinjani's chest rumbled. He recalled his dream of being with the God earlier. All this time he knew that Bagaskara loved himself and also loved his children. However, he still could not give that love to her.

"But .. I haven't been able to repay your love. The feeling still belongs to the Gods," Rinjani replied. In the past he would have rejected it firmly. This time, however, he hesitated and hesitated. God is dead and children need a father figure.

Bagaskara could see the woman's eyes glazed over. He wanted to hold her and hold her in his chest. He has promised the three Rinjani children will be good fathers as they hope. It can make mothers who are pregnant and raise them.

"I think that love can be present because we're used to being together. I am not forcing you to repay my love. But, allow me to always be with you and the kids. I really love you guys" I Bagaskara honestly and sincerely.

"I'm …." The clear thread finally fell on Rinjani's cheek. The woman was still confused as to what she should do at this moment.

"I won't ask you to answer now. Give that answer when you are absolutely sure of your feelings and desires. Because I also want to put your happiness first" said Bagaskara.

"Give me a month," Rinjani replied in a trembling voice.

In fact, he also often got requests from his children so that Bagaskara was always with them. However, Rinjani can give reasons to the three, why she can not reciprocate the feelings of the man and can not be with him.

"Alright if that's your wish" Bagaskara said with a gentle smile.

"Thank you, but I ask that during the month you show your seriousness even more seriously" Rinjani continued.

Bagaskara gaped, in his mind he thought of Rinjani's words just now. The feeling he had all done in earnest. I don't know what else he has to show the woman.

'Will I tell you, what more seriousness should I do to convince Rinjani?' (Bagaskara)

The man rolled over on the bed in his room. He was still thinking about what more seriousness he had to show Rinjani. The more he thought about it the more headaches he felt.

'Am I asking you papa and mama, huh?'

Bagaskara got out of bed and went to his parents' second room. He knew it was midnight and they were sleeping.

"Mr .. Ma!" Bagaskara knocked on the door of his parents' second room.

Not long after that the door opened and revealed a middle-aged man.

"What's Bagas? These nights bother us" asked Papa Bima.

Bagaskara just grinned and said, "There's something important I want to ask. It's so important!"

"What's important?" asked the middle-aged man by putting on his sleepy face.

"Bagaskara's future and the well-being of this family" retorted the 35-year-old man.

"Lake in!" papa Bima's.

Mama Adira is now up and sitting on the sofa with her husband. The middle-aged woman stared bitterly at her eldest son who was already interrupting their sleep time.

"Say what's wrong?" ask Mama Adira.

"I want to ask. What do you want from a woman who is invited to be married by a man?" ask Bagaskara directly without further ado.
