Chapter 63. The Dirga VS Bagaskara

Chapter 63

Dirga stood in front of the window in her room. The night sky was without stars and the moon, describing his current mood. Empty, empty, and there is nothing interesting to be seen by the eye. 

"Why haven't you slept?" mama Adira asked who went into her youngest son's room.

He did not hear the door open. He just silently stared at the woman who had given birth and raised himself. 

Mama Adira walked towards Dirga. Cuddled by the body of the child who always makes himself proud of all the achievements achieved by him.

"Why did you do evil to your future sister-in-law?' mama Adira asked with her soft voice.

"Why does Bagas always get what he wants?" She asked back with a trembling voice.

"Your brother always fought and never gave up. Do you know how long Bagaskara waited for Rinjani?" Mama Adira rubbed her son's back slowly.

"Ten years," replied his brother Bagaskara.

"Wrong. Seventeen more years he awaits Rinjani to be able to accept himself. After the age he always waited patiently for the woman," said Mama Adira who now looks at her son's face.

How surprised Dirga if her brother had been waiting for Rinjani for that long. He thought that Bagaskara liked Rinjani because she was rich and beautiful. Meanwhile, she felt her love for the widow was pure of liking. Without any other cause, such as being betrothed to keep their property safe or because they are both from rich families.

I don't know since when Dirga's tears wet his cheeks. She was crying silently in the arms of her mother. A woman who always gives comfort to herself. A woman who always spoils herself when she likes or suffers.

"The time that has happened cannot be repeated. However, you can fix it and not do it again" said Mama Adira.

The next day two men were fighting in an empty room and there were several sports equipment. They are Bagaskara with Dirga. 

Both of them were venting the anger in each of them to their opponents. Bagaskara seemed to be given the opportunity to repay his sister's actions yesterday. He really beat up Dirga mercilessly.

Dirga himself fought his brother to vent his disappointment against the love that clapped one hand. Where the woman he loved still chose Bagaskara compared to him.

"You think you're better than me!" dirga shouted as Bagaskara slammed his body.

Both of them were back in the crossfire until Dirga was completely pinched by Bagaskara until he could not move. Although his sister tried to escape, but the power of the brother is still strong.

"You've got everything you want. Go as far as you can, because the Rinjani children hate you so much. Mama and Papa are sad because they do not want to be invited to this house, because there you are here," said Bagaskara with emphasis.

"It's just your wits" Dirga said, not accepting such accusations.

"You just ask your mom and dad. They will either be silent or mama will cry" said the elder.

Both of them knew very well the nature of their mother. His heart is sometimes fragile easily touched, but his firm nature sometimes spoils his children.

Rinjani hugged her three children. They do not want to be invited to play and walk by Dirga's parents. They did not like Dirga and did not want to go to his house anymore.

"Mother, why does Om Bagas have such an evil brother? Though Om Bagas himself good person," said Aqilah.

"Yes. Brother does not like," continued Attar.

"Are you sure you'll marry Om Bagas later?" ask Azzam.

"Why did you ask like that?" Rinjani rubbed his son's cheek which was now getting higher.

"Don't want you to be unhappy later. Brother prefers that mother lives happily even though we live like we used to, in the village," said the boy.

Rinjani's heart started to revert. If his three children want to live in the village, then he will obey their wishes. However, the problem is Bagaskara.

'Will he be invited to live in a village that is all mediocre?' (Kranjani)
