Innallaha Ma'Ana (Verily Allah is With Us)
Chapter 4. House Leaking

Chapter 4

Rinjani touches Attar's forehead, neck, and cheeks. It was all very hot and his son's breathing was also intermittent.

"Didn't get water to compress. Bang grab a cloth to wipe!" rinjani's word to her two children.

It was already night, and outside the rain was still fluttering though not as hard as it was this afternoon. It was impossible for Rinjani to take Attar to the doctor because she already had no money at all. While PUSKESMAS is only open tomorrow morning.

"Mom, this is the warm water." Aqilah carry the basin carefully so as not to spill.

"Mom, do you want to buy medicine at the stall?" ask Azzam.

He could not bear to see his sick sister. Attar is usually always cheerful when together with him. However, now only a groan came out of his mouth.

"But, it's raining outside, Bang," Rinjani replies while compressing her forehead and lower abdomen.

"I can wear a jacket and run. The Mbok Mirah stalls are close, not far away" Azzam said.

Rinjani looked at Azzam, knowing that his son was worried about Attar. However, the woman did not want her sick child to grow up. Moreover, he did not have the money to go for treatment if they were sick.

"Wear an umbrella if you want to go to the shop," said Aqilah.

As Rinjani recalls, their only umbrella was broken a few days ago. It cannot be used anymore because it has not been repaired.

When we don't have money, there are always things that make us really need it. Things that used to be considered trivial, when there was no money it felt very valuable. Like an umbrella, it is rarely used if not in the rainy season. However, when the time comes it feels very valuable because we need it.

"His father has fixed it, kok, ma'am," added the daughter with a simple smile.

"Correct, Brother?" rinjani asked with sparkling eyes because she was happy.

"Yes yesterday my brother tried to fix it himself, it turned out he could" replied the elder with a sense of pride.

Finally Azzam went to the stall to buy a child's heat-lowering medicine. He wears an umbrella and a jacket to keep him from catching a cold.

Attar's heat dropped immediately, not long after being given the drug. Of course this made Rinjani and the other two children feel calm.

"It's late at night, you should also go to bed soon," Rinjani told her two children.

As Aqilah walked into her room, she saw that there were many puddles near her bed. Turns out the roof in the room was leaking.

"Mom, in my room is leaking! The mattress is wet and on the floor there is a puddle of water," Aqilah fights while walking towards the kitchen looking for a container to hold large enough raindrops.

Hearing the cry of his son, Rinjani rushed to see the state of Aqilah's room. It turns out that the roof is leaking quite profusely. So, he pulled the mattress and rolled it so that it did not get wet.

"So I slept with my brother first tonight" Aqilah said after putting two basins on the bed and on the floor.

"It's a good thing that the blanket and pillow didn't get wet" the beautiful woman said as she touched and examined her pillow.

Rinjani's heart felt sliced at this sight. The struggle of her and her husband in raising money to repair the house did not materialize, because the money was used to pay the debt. For a number of years they have struggled to raise money piecemeal, to repair their broken homes with age, without ever having been repaired before. This is evident now their house is leaking, even though the plan this year they will renovate the house. What is the power of man can only plan and God determines that destiny.

'O Allah, please make provision for your servant's family, in order to improve the house.' (Kranjani)

"Mom, you better not find a job. Poor Attar if you have to come with me looking for a job to and fro. I'm afraid it will be more relapsing again the pain," Aqilah said after they had breakfast.

"Mom will ask first, who knows can be done at home, washing and ironing his clothes. So that Attar can also rest," replied the instant veiled woman while feeding her youngest son.

Rinjani is forced to do something like this because she desperately needs money to pay her debt next month. If he didn't take a job as a laundry and ironing labourer, he wouldn't have the money to pay Dirga a debt. Not to mention the house that leaked, must have money to pay a handyman who will fix the roof of his house.

Aqilah went to school while carrying two large bags of crackles containing chips that he would leave to stalls and also sold himself by him at school.

Luckily Rinjani because Bu RT and Bu Ani gave up their laundry to take to her house. He'll deliver the outfit to completion until ironed. If it is not finished later in the afternoon then tomorrow the clothes will be delivered to their respective homes.

While Rinjani was washing, Attar sat by the door while playing cars that were no longer complete tires. Sometimes Rinjani glanced at the son who was wearing a jacket and socks, because the temperature there was a bit cold. If they look at each other, they throw smiles at each other.

"Mom, little sister!" (Mommy, sister is healthy!) attar said, because he felt that the beautiful woman was still worried about him.

"Yes, mom's son is great! If the pain is not afraid to take medicine, so the disease is blurred," Rinjani replied with a smile.

The laundry belongs to Ms. RT is finished and will be dried. However, before that Rinjani first soaked the laundry of clothes belonging to Bu Ani. He worked one by one so as not to be switched later.

Aqilah after school intends to sell the remaining chips that have not been sold out while at school earlier. When he offered the food to the people who were eating at the rice stall there was a man who bought all his chips. Of course this makes him very happy, because in this way he can bring home a lot of money.

"Thank you for buying all my chips. May the sustenance of Om be wrought ever more by Allah" said Aqilah.

"Aamiinu. What's your name?" ask the handsome-looking man and have a shady look in his eyes.

"Aqilahs. What's your name?" Aqilah asked back.

"A very good name. The name om is Bagaskara, you may call it Bagas" replied the man.

The two also spoke ngalor ngidul. Aqiah who is still a boy answered honestly all the questions asked by Bagaskara. Of course he felt very happy because the person he had been looking for was in this village.

'Rinjani, I can finally find a trace of you. This daughter of yours has a very similar face to yours, making it easy for me to recognize her.' (Bagaskara)

Bagaskara felt very happy because his guess was right. Upon hearing reports that Dirga's car was hit by a bus driver, the Lord reminded her of someone. Starting from there he also reached this village and now he even met his daughter.

Bagaskara also invited Aqilah to a store selling many snacks that are often made into souvenirs. There Bagaskara spoke with the shop owner and offered merchandise belonging to Aqilah.

"You can talk about this to your mother first. It's good to add money to income," Bagaskara said when the store owner asked for a large stock of sales goods.

The store owner was willing to meet with Rinjani and would talk about her merchandise. Because, according to him, the chips feel good. Crispy, tender, and also the flavor of the spice is very fitting.

"But if your mother is unable to meet our sales stock standards then this cooperation will be void" said the middle-aged woman who wears full-face makeup.

Will Rinjani be able to make chips in large quantities? While only he can fry and season those chips! Wait for it to go, yeah!
