UAS will be implemented in KJRI Penang and each time UAS I have to take off as much as two days. Thank God, my supervisor never made it difficult for me to get a leave permit from him as long as I show a leave application letter for the exam made by KJRI Penang.

My supervisor also often encouraged me to continue studying until graduation. Unlike some of my friends who are very difficult to get a leave permit from their superiors, even after showing a license request from KJRI, his supervisor still does not allow him to leave. There are even some students who dare to take the risk to miss work in order to follow the UAS.

At UAS, there was a student looking for me, she was wearing a niqab too. Maybe he heard a story about me from someone else's mouth. And I knew him from other people even though he only knew his name because we had never met and known him in person.

“Nah, this one is Naura.” said kak tasya. “Naura, this is Aisyah.” Further.

“Iya, Brother. Greetings know.” I said as I reached out to Brother Aisyah.

“Salam know also.” Saying Sister Aisyah.

During ISOMA (Rest, Prayer and Eating), Aisyah asked me for permission to sit next to me. I allowed it because the chair was empty.

“Kakak if UAS to penang ya?” my many. Because asauku Aisyah Kak is no longer a laborer and has been married also in Indonesia.

“Yes, this semester Alhamdulillah can come to penang with husband Sister.” The answer.

Then we chatted while eating our lunch. Aisyah then told me about her hijrah experience.

“Kakak has long used niqab?” my many.

“Not too long ago, Naura has already worn it before than Brother.” he replied.

“How can Brother know?” ask me again with a surprised face.

“Tau only, hehe.” he replied with a small laugh.

Then I laughed with him.

“Kak not wearing this niqab at first, if you come out Brother always bring niqab two.” Saying Sister Aisyah.

“Why is that so, Brother?” manya curious.

“Because Big Brother is not good at eating while wearing niqab, if you eat niqab surely Big brother is dirty, hahaha.” he said while laughing again.

“Yes yes, Brother?” My solute.

“Iya.” The answer.

“I used to wear it early, the niqab is always dirty when eating, but do not think to bring a backup niqab, hehe.” I said while grinning.

“Kakak also did not think, but the husband of Sister who advised that Sister bring two. Because that time was once very dirty to have a gulai. So the husband said Brother tomorrow his veil bring two if everywhere, if dirty later can be changed in the toilet. So from then on Brother always carry a two-veil when traveling.” Obviously Brother Aisyah.

“Brilliant really idea, Kak.” said.

“Not really, Brother. But since I never brought stock, I ate it so much more carefully for fear of getting dirty.” My answer.

“Eat also so slower huh?” Ask Aisya.

“Iya, Brother. Slower than usual, but Alhamdulillah after getting used to it over time can also return to normal, hehe.” Answer me while I cry.

“Alhamdulillah, pantesan now eat it can race. Hahaha.” Said Brother Aisyah while laughing loosely.

Then we both laughed together. This is the first time we have ever known him in person. But it's like knowing for years.

After the UAS is over, sometimes my friends and I go out to eat together or watch together. At that time, I was able to release attention. You can forget about work problems and lessons even in a short time. Sometimes I go with Rini. And sometimes I go with Nita and Devi.

The journey of hijrah was not always smooth and easy, sometimes I was also offended when I heard someone say “No need to wear a veil to look better”. Though the reason Muslim women wear a veil because they want to improve themselves in order to form a better person, cover themselves so that ajnabi can not look at it freely, want to get closer to Him and more. And I am sure, every Muslim woman who veils must have her own personal reasons. Not so “See” is better.

Can not appreciate his choice, let him be himself, let him be what he wants, as long as the choice is still following Syari’at Islam. Try the Hadith below:

“And from Umm Salamah Radhiallahu’anha when he was talking beside the Prophet Shallahu’alaihi Wassalam with Maimunah Radhialhu’anha suddenly appeared Abdullah bin Umm Maktum who was blind before them, then he came to the Prophet Shallahu’alaihi Wassalam (because he was blind unable to see, then we both did not immediately hijab ourselves. We remain seated by the side of the Prophet Shallahu’alaihi Wassalam). Prophet Shallahu’alaihi Wassalam said: “Take care of him.” I said “Yes Allah's Apostle, isn't he blind? He certainly didn't see us.” Prophet Shallahu’alaihi Wassalam said: “Are you not both blind from him? Didn't you see it?” (H.R. Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud).

Even in front of someone who was blind, the Prophet Shallahu’alaihi Wassalam ordered his wife to make a veil. Then do we still dare to say “No need to wear a veil?”

Who are we to dare to say that? I never expected and asked others to feel comfortable with my veil, because if I met someone who understood the veil, without asking for it they would definitely not be bothered with my appearance.

I just hope that others don't make me feel uncomfortable with their attitudes and words.

“The Muslim is the one whose other muslims survived from (adulthood) his tongue and hands.” (H.R. Bukhari).

This hadith is always a reminder not to retaliate and try to be someone who others feel grateful for his presence. But I am an ordinary human being who can be sincere, if I hold back please never turn on the fire of hatred.

But I do not want to drown in sorrow and linger in thinking the words of others. This is my life, I make my own way, I only have two hands and this is not enough to cover their mouths, it is better that these two hands are used for berTO’a so that God softens this heart and can educate the heart to be more patient with everything.

Prophet Shalallahu‟alaihi Wassalam said: “Manla yarham wa layurham.” Meaning “Whose people don't love then don't love.” (H.R. Al Bukhari).

No matter how good we are to others, there must still be those who do not like us. And vice versa, no matter how bad we are to others, there are still those who like. So, we better be what God likes. If we hate the person who hurt us, then we are the one who loses because in Bukhari Hadith above mentioned, “Who does not love then not loved.” If we do not love others, then God does not love us.

Just imagine, if someone makes a picture of a flower then someone does not like the results of his work, then he said “The picture is ugly.” The one who was most hurt was the one who drew the flower. Likewise, when insulting and ridiculing man, the fact is that he has insulted God because of God who created man. Astahgfirullah®s.

And there is one more piece of advice that reads “Kama tudainu tudaanu.” Meaning “As you treat then so will you be treated.” What we plant, that's what we'll reap. If we are good to others, in God others will also be good to us. And vice versa, if we are bad to others then others will be bad to us.

While still able to , while still able, while still strong, as long as it continues to do good. Because whatever we do will not be in vain, there will be a reward. As Allah promised in the Qur‟an Surat Al-Jaljalah verses 7 and 8.

“Whoever does good as much as Dharrah, will surely see (reply)nya (7).

And whoever commits a crime as bad as Dharrah, he will see (reply) as well (8).

Tau Boomerangkana's? The Boomerang is an Australian Aboriginal throwing weapon used for hunting. Not a boom for war huh, hehe. The boomerang will be thrown forward, backward, left or right, he will certainly return to the person who threw it.

Such is our practice, good and bad. And never liken yourself to a candle, which is destroyed and perished only for the sake of others. Our life is not like that, every good we give to others, it is not just for them, but also for us. Here's the proof:

“If you do good (means) you do good for yourself. And if you do evil, then (crime loss) it's for yourself.” (Q.L. Al - Israel: 7).

From Abu Hurairah Radiallahu Anhu, Prophet Shallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam said: “Whoever releases a believer's tribulation, Allah will surely deliver from him a tribulation on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever makes the affairs of others easy, Allah will make them easy in the world and the Hereafter. Whoever covers the disgrace of a Muslim, Allah will surely cover his disgrace in the world and the Hereafter. Allah will always help His servant as long as His servant is willing to help his brother.” (H.R. Muslim).
