It has been a month since we visited Sister Mea's house, Mother still looks moody and worried.
"Mom why do you keep moody, Mom? Sister see Mother is also less concentrated in running the business Mother." asked me when I saw Mom was pensive in the kiosk.
"Mom keeps thinking of your brother, Sister. How's he doing now? What do? All her wishes are obeyed is not the same her husband? There are many things I think about, Mother. What else is the person who is cravings must want this pingin it." replied Mother.
"Do you want to call Bang Rafli so that I can talk to Brother Mea?"
"Don't you, Mom's gonna interrupt your brother's job."
"Not now, Mom. It'll be night. That night you were home."
"But if there's your brother, I don't want to tell you an honest story."
"If it's sister doesn't know, ma'am. Just Khusnudzon, Mom. All of you later I will say the same Bang Rafli, nasehatin if necessary, Mom. Hehe."
"Yes, then, call them tonight."
"Good, Mom."
After that I saw Mom getting excited again running her activities and serving buyers.
Ever since Mea got married, it was my mom who always cooked for us to eat. I really want to learn to cook, but yes usually only cook sambal anchovies just as boiled cassava leaves. Sad I tuh, already gini girl still can not masakin delicious food for Mom.
If you want to eat fish, chicken or meat, you will process it into a very tasty food. I just enjoy the results without knowing what the cooking process is like.
The day passed until the hour showed at 4 pm. Adzan Ashar was 10 minutes ago. I have completed my duty as a Servant.
When I came out of the room I saw Mom cooking in the kitchen.
"What are you cooking today, Mom?" ask me slowly for fear of making Mom surprised.
"Sister's favorite side dish" replied Mother.
"What's right, Mom?" tanyaku seriously.
"Yes right. Just look at it for yourself. Mother cook vegetable tamarind fish head mixed eggplant round." replied Mother.
"Waaaahhh, sister so can't wait to eat Mom, hehe" I said with a smile full of enthusiasm.
I really like this side dish. If you eat mah will definitely nambuk nambah. What else is cooking Mom.
If I'm the one who's cooking probably won't eat it, it's gonna be weird. Huff!!
After finishing Isya prayer, my mother asked me to try calling Bang Rafli's number. There was a sound of tutt tutt tutt many times until finally someone said from a distance there.
"Assalamu'alaikum" I said.
"Wa'alaikumussalam." said Bang Rafli.
"Bang, I want to talk to Sister Mea."
"Owh, just a second, Brother call."
"Yes, Bang." I said.
"Hello, Assalamu'alaikum." after waiting for a few minutes finally sound Kak Mea from there.
"Wa'alaikumussalam's chat. Brother, I want to talk." I said and handed my cell phone to Mom. I also activated the speaker phone so I could hear their chat.
As Mom coolly chatted with Kak Mea, I rushed to the kitchen to pick up the rice and side dishes, I was hungry.
I listened to Mother and Sister Mea chat while eating my dinner voraciously. Where may not be greedy, eat with favorite side dishes.
"Mea is healthy, right?" ask Mother.
"Thank God be healthy, ma'am."
"Thank God be healthy too, ma'am. Mea and Bang Rafli had checked into the doctor. It's in the Vitamin Love too, Mom. So I don't have to worry."
"Owh thank goodness then. You're craving yet, son?"
"Already, Mom. Kemaren Mea had cravings to eat chicken satay seasoning padang at one night."
"Oh my God, at one night. And bought no?"
"Dibelikan same Bang Rafli, in search until met who sold. But when the satenya was in front of Mea, Mea just ate one skewer alone was no longer appetizing. Hehe." said Brother Mea while laughing softly.
"Not sanitized?"
"Reserve, Mom. Too bad if it's not finished, let alone buy it far away, evenings."
"Yes. Usually it's if cravings, not bought cold, already bought even no longer cold, hehe." replied Mother with a small laugh.
"What's sister, Mom?" ask Brother Mea.
"Again eat, already add him." said Mother.
"Tumben, it's usually hard to eat."
"Sister ate a vegetable side dish with sour fish head, sister." I said.
"Owh, good lha. Pantesan can add."
"Heheheh, yes." I replied as I devoured my food.
"Mom ate?" ask Brother Mea.
"Here, I ate first. Replace the same sister guard the stall." explained Mother.
"Owh, yes. Mom, yes, Mom. It didn't feel like an hour of talking to Mom. We talk again sometime."
"Yes, Son. Take care of his health. In Shaa Allah there will be time for Mother and Sister to play again there."
"Yes, Mom. Mother and sister also take care of their health there. Assalamu'alaikum." said Mr. Mea ended the conversation.
"Yes. Wa'alaikumussalam." said Mother and hung up the phone.
"How do you feel now, Mom? Relieved to have spoken to Mea?" ask me Mom.
"Alhamdulillah. Let's hope your brother is really okay there." replied Mom.
"This is Allah, ma'am." I said.
After speaking directly to Kak Mea, the melancholy on Mother's face began to disappear. It seems like Mother is really relieved to have spoken to Kak Mea. Hopefully after this the bad thoughts of Mother can be reduced so that Mother can also be more enthusiastic about living her days and activities.
"Mom, it's 10 o'clock, the buyer is also deserted. Let's close the stall." I asked.
"Owh yeah, it's night. Come on, Mom's tired too. Thank God today many buyers, money is also enough for tomorrow's shopping." replied Mother.
Then we got out of our seats and went to the stall. Slowly we clean it all up.
Every morning after the Fajr Prayer, I take a shower and go to the morning tax to buy vegetables and sell them at home.
While Mom's still into taxes, I'm the one who's gonna stand by at home to keep the stall. From dawn until night we did not sleep anymore. Unless you're sleepy, sometimes Mom and I switch to take a nap.
Allah's sustenance is not in vain for us. We are very grateful because we are still given health and can still continue to sell at home.
Although sometimes there are people who owe, but the money is still enough to be used as a capital for vegetable shopping and also shopping at wholesale.
Indeed, sometimes I see Mom dizzy turning the money around, but Thank God Mom always got a way out. God will always be there.
