It's Not Sleep That Makes Me Dream, But You
Chapter 20: The Meow... Meow

I walked my bike home with my groceries from the supermarket on the bike handlebar. My brain is still thinking of winning three comic competition in Aneka Comics magazine, Razor19. I don't know what he's doing until it's that good at my age.

Although he is not champion one, but the picture is very good. If only he could write the story well, neatly, he would be in the first champion with the highest points. He could be the youngest comic writer ever in Comics. I rarely read comics, but I love reading articles on the internet. In the article revealed that the youngest comic writer in the magazine is 25 years old. If Razor19 gets serialized, it will break the record.

My lips smiled when I thought of that. That means Adit and I also have the same chance with Razor19, maybe next year I and Adit can join the next race. For now, we need to stay focused on completing one short story comic title before the midterms. Okay, I'm excited.

Not long after, when I was about to arrive at the T-junction, I heard a voice that made me stop my footsteps and look around.

Meow.meow…

I heard the sound of a kitten, but I didn't know where it came from. I continued to set foot because I did not find after searching.

Meow.meow…

A few steps ahead, again-Again the voice was heard. The sound became clearer, and I then looked to the side of the road, toward the source of the sound was about to come. I thought it was between a bush and a tree.     My bike was standing on the sidewalk. I was curious to follow the source of the cat's voice coming from the bushes. Among the bushes I approached, there was a cardboard instant noodles, it made me scratch my hair because the sound of the cat seemed to actually come from the cardboard.

Slowly, I closed my eyes and opened the box. Actually, in the cardboard box there is a white-haired kitten, who continues to meow while squirming towards me with a plain and cute look. I can't stand it.

My face smiled, and my right hand rubbed his head. Shit, she's too cute. His eyes seemed to shine. He looked like I was elus-elus. But, by the way, who would want to throw a kitten this big? Should I just bring it home?

I thought as I squatted in front of the cat with a hand that kept stroking his head. But if I take her home, who will take care of her when I go to school? There is no one else at home. My sister might also be back in college again after the new year holidays are over. No one is taking care of me if I bring it home.

With a heart that felt a bit heavy, I stood up, stepped closer to the bike. Both hands have been holding tightly to both handlebars, I am preparing to continue the journey home by guiding a bicycle.

When I was about to step foot, suddenly my right foot was amused, like there were twisting movements in the ankle area. I squirm down, as I expected, it turns out that the little cat is walking in a circle while pinning his body on my ankle. The cat looked so cute, as if he was asking to come with me. I think this cat is comfortable.

I slowly lifted the cute kitten, I put it back on the cardboard and I stayed again. A few steps back, he followed me again from behind. Suddenly, there was a cat behind me. I could only stop my step and sigh as the cat squirmed his cheek at my ankle while meowing. I then repeated the same thing, lifting the cat, and then turning the cat into the cardboard.

However, for the third time, when I squatted down and put the white-haired cat into the cardboard, a passerby who happened to pass by on the sidewalk talked to me.

"No, I don't throw cats anymore."

"This place is crowded mas, the edge of the highway anyway, if fitting he road to the highway continues to miss the car casian, mas, it's a small cat because." The man looked at me with a strange look before he finally walked away.

The wind blew, the sound of passing vehicles taking turns sounded a little noisy.

The cat squirms at me while meowing. Our eyes are straight, deep. I breathed again, resigned.

"I think I should take this cat home for a while.." I looked up at the highway, "Surely, too, kasian if he suddenly walked to the highway keep lelindes car." I kept looking at the cat again.

I walk my bike. With a feeling of relief, I lightly set foot. Finally my heart was not burdened anymore, because in the end I decided to bring the cat home. I put it in a plastic tray, along with groceries, exactly along with a pack of snacks. I put the kitten into the plastic by letting his head stick out. He's just a henchman, really, and like there's no intention to jump. I don't know what the end is, the important thing is that this cat I take home first.

Upon arrival at home, I immediately feed the white-haired kitten that I picked up earlier. I still eat raw fish that I have cut into small pieces and a plate of milk. While lying on my stomach on the sofa, I looked at the cat. He was so good, like very happy fitting to eat. I don't know how long he hasn't eaten. While eating, sometimes the cat squirms towards me while meowing, as if saying thanks.

"Excuse me, Package."

The parcel that my brother meant came. I squirm towards the wall clock in the living room, it's almost four in the afternoon, the perfect time passed. I got up from the fall on the sofa, took the 20 thousand money that was already on the table and opened the door.

The package I received I put on the table. If it is held and looked at from its shape, I'm sure it must be a book. Even though I haven't opened it yet, I know what books are. I dare not open the color wrap of the item, still dear life.

Hape I sound, there's a WhatsApps message coming in. Adit told me that he and the others asked for permission. I stared at the snack that was still in the white plastic for some time before replying to her message with, "OK deh."

I squirm towards the white-haired kitten who is currently again enjoying milk. The cat then returned my gaze, "Meow." said that out of his mouth. His face looked even more cute, it seemed like he was smiling.

Seriate…
