It's Not Sleep That Makes Me Dream, But You
Chapter 08: Getting Started

After the break ended, I went straight back to class with Olivia. We are both in a hurry because the distance from the library to our class is quite far. Because of the preoccupation with talking about various Comics magazines, we forget the time and quite late to class. Actually I was planning to go nyariin Adit fifteen minutes before the break ended. I want to tell him that I changed my mind and was willing to partner with him to write comics, but instead did not take time because of the later chat.

In class, I also want to talk to him about it, but I can't. The last hour of study is mathematics. The teacher's killer, he keeps making it like an impromptu quiz, that is. One class was told to do the problem on the blackboard randomly, the atmosphere was very tense. Fortunately, I was lucky because I didn't get ahead. Adit was unlucky, he was told to talk about it on the board, where he got the hardest problem, again. Because he could not answer the problem, Adit was punished to stand in front. And me, not to talk to him until the last lesson is over. Passing out the gate is also the same, I did not take the time to talk because he was in a hurry.

And now in the afternoon, after waking up from my nap, this is where I stand, in the front yard of Adit's house, guiding my bicycle. I walked slowly towards the door of Adit's house.

I think, deciding to agree Adit's invitation to write a comic together is appropriate. Come to think of it, I also still have no mature purpose in life. Do I really want to be an office worker? Do I really want to live a safe and monotonous life? I shook my head, dismissing those questions. I sighed while muttering, "Not bad either, so comic writer." I smiled.

Arriving at Adit's doorstep, I kept silent for a moment before finally knocking on his door.

Tok…

I knocked on the door several times with the same tempo. Because he gave no answer at all, I also knocked while calling.

"Dit, Adit!" As I knocked on the door.

But I did not get an answer from the person who should have been there. Is he not in the bedroom? But his mother said he was in the room, really, where maybe Adit's mother lied. Maybe she's sleeping, huh? Then I thought of something.

My right hand reached into the pocket of levis pants to grab HP. It was right at home I took a call to him but not raised, so I decided to come directly here.

However, the result is the same, I called repeatedly he did not lift. I think, really, he's sleeping there. Should I go home and say it later? When I think so, my right hand is idly moving the doorknob of the room towards the bottom, the door was slightly open, "huh? It wasn't locked." I said dalem heart.

"Anything?" I opened the door slowly.

The room is quite dark, the lights have not been turned on even though it is late afternoon.

My eyes looked straight ahead. Adit looked like he had something on his desk. The light from his laptop screen was brightly lit in the middle of the dark room. Maybe hit his face. If it continues, he can have eye pain.

Wearing a headset that covered both ears, Adit leaned over, directing his gaze to focus on the laptop. His right hand looked at the gerakin pen. He must be busy drawing. Pantes aja he was not horrifying just now I was nget-ngetok door, again use a headset, anyway.

I stepped into the room, slowly walking to the left wall, decking the mattress. I'm going to turn on the room lights. The outlet I press slowly, the lampoon light instantly illuminates the dark room space, the automatic room fragrance device suddenly sounds, spreading the scent of lavender. Semalem tool it seems that does not exist, deh.

Adit immediately stopped his drawing activities, he immediately dyed confused because of the room lights that I suddenly turned on.

"Green, flame yourself." Adit looked at the entire room in confusion. Maybe he thinks the lights are ghosts.

When our views meet, "Eh, lo, yan." He said that while taking off his headset. Trus continued to say, "Gue thought it was a ghost, because suddenly the light was on its own.."It breathed a sigh of relief. I think he was really scared because I suddenly turned on the lights. "You want to come here, but at least WA first."

"Gue's been calling you repeatedly, dit." But you're not lifting." I walked closer to her.

"Lo again nerusin semalem comics, huh?" I asked him if I was standing next to him sitting. I look at the laptop screen.

"Yes, this is from your script."

I glanced at the manuscript sheet that was on his lap. "Worse, I have not ngijinin in fact, lo main comot material I just, can be subject to copyright law."

"..." - ".Adit swallowed.

"I can report it for example, this is Lo publish.* I'm a little joking.

"It's just one sheet, make latian. It's five panels." He felt bad for me after I said that.

I focused on the laptop screen. I scroll the mouse to bring the screen down. Adit's comics have started to look like real comics, it's not a rough sketch anymore. There is one picture, anyway, that he has not done, panel number two, because there are three characters in the panel. The three people were discussing at one table. Comics have not made Adit plain white background, there is no background gmbar place. But, I feel that no stranger and know this scene, because I wrote the story.

"Where, good?" Ask Adit.

"Cool."

"That's less than one more panel I haven't tidied up. If it's all neat, I'm just getting colour." Evidently.

"Gue didn't expect my characters to be a picture."

"Yes, it's cool, if it's a comic. " Adit looked a little bragging. Then he went on to say, "Eat it, let's write it down"

Not yet Adit finished talking, I cut, "Yes, come on!"

"..." - ".Adit.

"Come on, let's write a comic!" I'm affirming.

Adit smiled with relief, but was impressed. He seemed to know that this would happen, he knew that I would sooner or later accept his invitation to write a comic together.

And, in the beginning of our dream journey to become a comic.

Seriate…
