Nadin sat down somewhat tensely. His hands have been sweating ever since. His feet always wanted to run away from where he was right now. But, he tried his hardest to fight the fear that felt.
Juna put a glass of juice on the table. Then sit on the sofa, next to Nadin. But keep the distance because it knows Nadin feels uncomfortable being near him.
“You all right?” juna asked, opening the conversation in the middle of a situation that had been quiet for a moment.
“Do I look good?” Nadin asked back. “It looks like only Kak Juna who is always fine aja.”
“You're wrong. I'm the same.”
“Mana may.”
“I continue to be tormented because I think you are so like that because of me.”
“Continue what do you want to talk about?”
Juna sighed before continuing to speak. “It seems like there is no point in covering up everything. I admit to being wrong with you. Everything you think about me and Mala, it's true.”
“From when?”
“A few months ago.”
Nadin tried so hard not to cry. He did not want Juna to master the situation, just because he could not pretend to be strong for a while. His hands were trembling.
“If I don't know. Are you going to keep hiding all that?”
“I've been meaning to be honest with you. It's just..”
“You can't bear it? Feel sorry for me?” sahut Nadin, starting to get a bit emotional.
“I still assure my own feelings.”
Both were silent.
“At first, I thought everything was just an ordinary interest,” continued Juna. “But, slowly I started to feel comfortable and thought of finding someone who made me feel something different. Maybe because all this time I've been tied to the same person. Until it all feels there is nothing special about the relationship.”
Nadin bit his lips which started to shake. Strengthen yourself to hear Juna's explanation to the end. Although all of that sounded painful, it seemed to slash his heart slowly.
“I repeatedly thought, because still feel maintaining a relationship with you is the right answer. But over time, I increasingly felt that the thought was wrong. I can't tell if I survive because I still have feelings. Or just get used to it.”.
“Then, the conclusion?”
“I don't have any feelings for you. All this time I survived just because I could not bear to let you fight alone, with a family that is no longer intact. And I'm afraid you won't be able to face all that without me.”
This time, Nadin was unable to hold back his tears. Her tears began to melt, accompanied by a sense of disappointment
profound.
“Already. Thats enough. I already know.”
Juna heard Nadin's voice that started to shake with tears. However, he did not dare to look. “Sorry..” said.
“Sorry just the same to yourself brother. Of all that, only one I can't accept. I do think that Brother Juna is one of the forces that make me dare to face life. But I don't need to be pitied. It is better not to continue if indeed Kak Juna survived only because of iba.”
Nadin wiped the tears on his cheek. Then get up from sitting. “Still. I taught you that there is no one in this world who can be trusted. Even the closest people, at any time can attack back. I really learned. After this brother is free. Not tied to me anymore. So let me also be free to live my life without the shadow of brother again.”
Without waiting for a response, Nadin immediately walked towards the exit. It seemed that Juna was done with his explanation. Even he did not chase after Nadin who left. Preventing is not at all. Just keep sitting down like before. Staring at Nadin's glass that had not been touched at all.
Nadin tried to laugh, though his tears never stopped. “Haha... It turns out that I think yes, Kak?”
***
Nadin stepped up with a gontai. Heading towards the online taxi he had booked since a while ago.
Cars sped up, crossing the streets of the capital filled with street lights that lit up in the darkness.
Nadin glanced at his watch. Twenty minutes have passed since eight. Taxi has not arrived at the destination because it is stuck in a traffic jam that does not know the time.
About fifteen minutes later, then Nadin can again feel the night air is quite piercing. He regretted leaving his jacket in the apartment. He could only hug her body with his own two hands. Then walk limply towards the fountain in the middle of the park.
For a while, Nadin thought that he would not find anyone in the handsome. But apparently, in one corner of the park, a brown-haired man sat quietly. Then look at him while smiling.
Nadin felt somewhat relieved that Axel was really waiting for him there. Without an expression of annoyance because it had been made to wait long enough. He greeted me with a grateful smile.
Nadin laughed at hearing that. “Not it was prince?” candelessly.
“Depends on need. If you ask me to be king, you can also.”
“You are waiting for me.”
“I haven't been long, kok,” reply Axel. Though his hands already felt very cold because of the night angina.
The wind blew, making Nadin shudder slightly. Axel who noticed it immediately opened his leather jacket, then put it on Nadin's back. “Moving yuk. I usually snap right away if the wind.”
“Commander time snaps?”
“Yes, right, commanders are also human. Are you not?”
“Although yes, I won't say anything, anyway.”
“Ohh, yes sorry. I'm too honest.”
Nadin followed Axel to his parked car not far from there. Then go to a place, which again is not told its purpose. Axel just said that Nadin would be surprised to see it.
The journey takes about fifteen minutes until they arrive, on the bank of a river. It turns out that quite a lot of people are there. They sat on the mat, while enjoying some snacks. Even the place was filled with colorful lights that seemed to be deliberately installed.
“Wah... What is this place?” Nadin was amazed to look at the twinkling river thanks to the lights.
“My second secret place.”
“Who are you anyway? Got a lot of secret places like that.”
“Ra-ha-si-a. Come on, we're going there.”
Axel extended his hand to Nadin. Helping the woman not to have to slip while walking down the riverbank road that is somewhat downhill.
They both rented a mat, rolled it out, and ordered almost all the snacks. Of course do not forget they always provide a mask before mingling in the crowd.
Axel rolled out the mat in a somewhat separate location with people coming in. So that Nadin can be more freely without worrying anyone recognizes him.
“Hmm! This is the most delicious egg roll I've ever eaten!”
“Iya, right? Usually I can run out more than twenty stabs alone.”
“The taste is good too. Uhh..”
“Big bags in cold weather like gini.”
“Children Hybrid would love this place too huh?”
“Nggak.”
“Ah, time?”
“Because I never brought them here, anyway. You're the one I brought.”
“Hm..”
Nadin continued to chew his food with vigor.
“Feelings I keep that love see the secret place. You don't want to tell me the secret place too?”
“Udah, kok.”
“Hah, when?”
“Tadi. We met at a secret place special to me.”
“Wah... how can it be there?”
“Ra-ha-si-a.”
Both are laughing. Then continue chatting with excitement throughout the night. At least it can make Nadin forget what just happened—for a moment.
Nadin was really grateful Axel could accompany him, without discussing the slightest about his struggle earlier. Because he personally did not expect to talk about it at all.
