Just A Professional Relationship
Episode Two

“Mother! I'm coming!” Nadin jumped small when he entered a white room. Hugging the mother who was lying on the bed—as if she was ten years old.

The pale-faced woman on the bed smiled gently, while welcoming her only child.

“Sorry Mom, I haven't been here in a long time.”

“Nothing. You are busy, do not need to come here often.”

“But mom must be bored if there are no friends.”

“No, coke. Here the sisters are good. They often come to chat mom.”

“Thank God if that's it.” Nadin smiled with relief.

“You're not sick anymore, are you? Kok, looks like a curusan.”

“Ah, no, really. Mom's feelings just like.”

“Instead he ate more than me, Mom,” chirped Juna who had just arrived inside the room. “Every meal is always added. I'm so surprised the food went where.”

“Do not nag, deh!” protest the people being talked about. Makes my mother laugh to see it.

“Sorry repotin you continue yes, Nak Juna.”

“No, Mom. If it wasn't me who reminded me, Nadin would have forgotten to look here. She is more concerned with work than her own mother.”

“Nah, right. Start making up again!” Nadin is back in protest.

Nadin's mother's physique was weak from the first. If he was too tired, he would faint. There are many illnesses that he has had since childhood. And all that is getting worse because of the economic conditions of his family that makes it impossible to seek treatment.

And when Nadin's father died. Her mother had to be the backbone of the family and started working as a housekeeper. Nadin, who was still in school, could not help much. So almost he gave up his dream to go to college and chose to find work. Luckily, Nadin got a scholarship for free college, and he was still able to work part time to ease his mother's burden.

In addition to encouragement from Juna, the condition of the mother became one of the factors that made him plunge into the world of entertainment. Her mother became sickly and had to wash her blood every week because of her kidney failure. And now, another illness makes him have to languish in the hospital.

“Eh, you know, like my phone missed in the car, deh!”

“Let's stay taken when you get home.”

“I have to check email first.”

“Most want to check medsos,” ledek Juna.

“Already, ah. Borrow the car keys!”

Nadin snatched the key from Juna's hand, and darted quickly. Leaving the pigtailed man sitting down

next to the bed.

“That mother is so happy to see you two. If you can continue to see you until later have children and grandchildren.” There was a glimmer of sadness from the woman's voice, although her lips were endlessly revealing a gentle smile.

“Mommy will be fine, really. Should soon be out of the hospital.”

“Hopefully yes. But I don't want to expect too much. Sometimes life is unpredictable.”

“Mom should think positively. Nadin and I will definitely fight as well so that mom can be healthy quickly.”

The woman grabbed Juna's hand and held it tightly. “Thank you Nadin met a man like you. Never once did she see him sad every time she talked about Nak Juna. He must always be happy. And mom wants him to keep it that way.”

Juna could only be silent. The words that were heard made him confused as to what to respond to.

“Mommy has a request. Want Juna to help mom?”

“Definitely, Bu.”

“Please take care of Nadin yes. Don't let him feel sad. It's just the family mom she has now. If later mother..”.

“No, mom sure-”

Juna slightly lowered his head because he could not look at the woman who was seen holding back the cry in front of him. Even his mouth was tightly closed, it was hard to open.

“Promise with mom, yes?”

The words are still stuck in the throat. Juna himself did not understand why he was suddenly silent like now. Finally, he could only nod. Smiling a little forced.

Juna's mind began to hang out since coming out of Nadin's mother's room. He was even pensive in the car, leaning against his seat. To others, these words sounded ordinary, but not so to Juna. Right now it was as if there was a heavy burden suddenly resting on his shoulders. With a reason that makes him feel that way.

“Babe, you why?”

“Oh.” Nadin's presence surprised him a little. “Nothing. Later wait for you daritadi.”

“Yes, geez. Feeling I'm only gone how many minutes doang.”

Juna's car is parked on the edge of the park with a very large fountain. The lights that glowed in the middle of the dark night, looked very beautiful. Making a flash of light on the water that was leaping in the middle of the pond.

Nadin stopped by the minimarket to buy canned coffee and some snacks. Wearing a mask and a hooded jacket that covers the head.

“So why the hell, how come I went back to the room, mom looked sad.”

“Iya, she is sad.”

“Seriously? Why?” Nadin was quite surprised to hear the answer of his girlfriend.

“He didn't know his son was changing. So alay, her make up is thick..”.

“You're not bored of anything, suck me on!”

Finally Juna received a punch on his arm. “Aw!” He grimaces. Nadin's energy is large enough for his tiny body size.

Nadin handed Juna a can of coffee, then looked towards the fountain in front. Smile, imagining something in your head.

“I never told you, why like this place?”

“Because often invited mom here, right?”

“Iya, one of them. But what I love most is the story behind this place.”

Juna looked at Nadin who was still focused on looking ahead. The light of the lamp makes the soft face of the woman more clearly visible. A view he really liked.

“Mommy must always tell the same story every time you bring me here.” Nadin started to tell stories. “He said, before the fountain pool was there, in the middle of the garden there was a large stone surrounded by flowers. At that place, my father declared his love for my mother. And as a binder of his love, they wrote the name on the stone that was there. They believe it is also what makes their relationship eternal. When you were around, I never saw them both fighting. I think I'm starting to believe the same thing mom said about the stone.”

“Hmm..” says Juna. He looked in the same direction. “Not you should be sad because the stone is no longer there? Why do you like coming here?”

“Yah.. although the stone does not exist, who knows the magic is still in this place.”

“Terus?”

“Ya... let our relationship last like my father and mother.”

Juna laughed a little. Of course the story sounded very silly in his ears, even though he did not mean to laugh at her. “Your mother's father is lasting because they themselves made it so kayak. Not because there's magic or anything. If one of them suddenly can not maintain a relationship, yes. all the stories will never exist.”.

“But we can, kayak them?”

“Not impossible.”

“Appointment?”

Again, Juna found it difficult to ask the second time today. The answer is the same, just yes or no. But there was something that made his voice stuck in the throat.

Finally, he gave the exact same answer. Nodding, while throwing a smile.
