Ch 13: Meaning of Family

[At Ahmad's house ]

That night, Ahmad and Arumi were actually laughing loosely for the first time. The moon is a witness to their happiness.

Someone knocked on Arumi's room door. Ahmad and Arumi were immediately diverted towards the voice.

The door opened and saw their oldest brother enter.

Izam is the oldest brother of 3 brothers and now he is running his education at one of the best and largest universities in Jakarta.

Izam's stature is almost similar to Ahmad's, they have bright white skin and smooth mimicking that of their Mother who is of Kazakh and Indonesian blood. While Abi they are of Indonesian descent.

The difference is in their eyes and hair. Izam has slightly curly hair and blue eyes with a slightly large body. Ahmad had Hazel's eyes and fine, straight hair. Ahmad also has a body that is filled and shaped because he likes to exercise.

"Yes.. " Arumi stood up and replied firmly while looking into Izam's eyes

Ahmad stood beside Arumi.

Arumi who was behind was still stiff and unable to move.

When the situation was getting worried, Abi who heard a noise entered the room and immediately stopped Izam and Ahmad. Abi immediately encouraged Izam to come out and appease Ahmad.

Izam then obeyed what Abi said and went out of the room. Then Abi turned to Ahmad and tried to calm him down. Ahmad then turned his head back and saw Arumi who was in shock and trembling.

Then the Abi came out and called Mother to take the medicine given by the doctor.

Suddenly Arumi had convulsions and was unconscious. A frightened Ahmad shouted to Abi.

Abi who had brought medicine, immediately ran away and helped drink it to Arumi. It didn't take long, Arumi stopped the seizure and went straight to sleep.

Ahmad's mind was completely chaotic, and he was increasingly confused by the condition of his beloved sister.

Abi, who saw Ahmad, immediately pulled the arm of his son and brought him down to the living room. There are already Kak Izam and Mommy. Abi then asked Ahmad to sit down, and Ahmad obeyed him.

Immediately Ahmad put on his shirt and shorts, then put his body on the mattress while covering his eyes with his left arm.

Unaware of how long Ahmad had been asleep, he then looked at his cell phone screen. Seen a lot of unread group WA messages. It was both Jerry, Alex, and Roby who asked Ahmad, because he did not read the message at all.

Ahmad then wrote a message, if he could not go to school tomorrow because there is a family need. He did not talk about Mary.

There were several servants standing in front of Arumi's room to guard her. Ahmad went down again to the ground floor and headed for the kitchen. He opened the fridge and saw a bottle of milk there. He took it and drank.

Ahmad was surprised to see Izam coming from behind taking food in the kitchen. Ahmad just kept quiet and walked away.

"Sorry brother" said Izam made Ahmad's footsteps stopped.

"So I'm not sorry for the emotion and can't think with a cold head. Brother is only worried about Arumi's state" Izam added

"Hm.. Kak Izam is only afraid that Arumi will damage the reputation of his brother at the University" Ahmad said without turning away.
