Ch 32: Emergency Operation
Ambulance came and Maria was immediately taken in to be taken to the Hospital and treated quickly.
Izam's sister drives her car and takes Arumi to a nice Hospital but a little far away.
The ambulance that took Maria immediately to the Air Force Hospital (RSAU). Dr. M. Salamuns.
Arriving at the Hospital, Maria was immediately taken to the ER room to get treatment for deep stab wounds. Maria still looks unconscious accompanied by Sisca.
Papa, Mama, Tania and Nek Aisyah went by private car following the Ambulance from behind. Police officers helped escort the Ambulance car to arrive soon.
Sisca was already in a state of panic and continued to cry at the worrisome condition of her best friend.
"Sorry, you can't go in" said the Sister who detained Sisca.
Sisca could only cry and wait for Papa's car and the others to come.
10 Minutes later, Papa and the others were seen approaching Sisca.
"Where's Maria?" tanya Papa panicked holding Sisca
"Mar.. Mary is already in the om" replied Sisca who was still crying.
Mama and Nek Aisyah were speechless and kept shedding tears. Police promised to help deal with the case until it is over.
They were all waiting for Maria to come out of the ER room. It looks like a doctor came out and met Papa and the others.
"Dok. How's my son doing?" asked Papa in a voice that shook with fear.
"Sir, you must be ready and steadfast. The father, must be immediately taken to the operating room because the knife puncture hit the vital organs and must be operated immediately" said the doctor tried to calmly explain it.
Mama who was not strong heard it almost fainted and held Nek Aisyah. Sisca who was holding Tania could not hear the situation of her friend.
"I'm sorry sir. I ask the father or mother can immediately take care of the approval documents of the operation, so that we can immediately operate it" asked the Doctor
"Baa.. Fine sir. I will fill all the procedures and I ask the father immediately for my son's surgery. I'll pay anything" Papa asked the Doctor.
"The doctor can help the operation immediately. We from the Police Department supervise and assist all the necessary procedures" said one of the Police Officers who was there.
"Well" said the doctor and immediately asked the nurse to take Maria to the operating room.
"Call Doctor Esther to go to the operating room and get everything ready" the doctor told one of the nurses.
"Well Doc" answered the nurse and went to the Administration desk and called Doctor Esther.
The doctor and Sister then pulled out Maria's bed and immediately took her to the operating room.
Everyone cried to see the unconscious Mary, pushed into the operating room full of sharp tools.
Everyone was very worried if something bad happened during the operation. Shortly thereafter Doctor Esther in charge of the surgery came and asked the family to continue praying for the smooth operation.
"Dok, please save my poor son" Mama's pinta sobbed while holding Doctor Esther's hand.
"Yes, mother, just pray. Me and the team will do well. Please wait here and pray" said the Doctor, calming Mama.
Dr. Esther then went in and cleaned her hands first and went into the operating room.
Papa and the others, could only wait and pray. 30 minutes had passed and Mary still had not finished the operation.
"Papa buys food first" said Papa who stood up and went to the Canteen to buy food.
"Yes pa. Tania was hungry" Mama replied as she held Tania who had just woken up from her sleep.
Seen very tired faces Mama, Sisca, Nek Aisyah, and Papa. But they still could not calm down until Maria finished the operation.
The police returned to the office and reported all the incidents. They asked to be contacted again if Maria had finished her surgery and woke up.
All those who had been waiting stood up and saw the Doctor and Mary.
"Bring the patient to the inpatient room ya sus" ordered Doctor Esther.
"Just like the others, go with Mary first. Papa let me talk to the Doctor" asked Papa to Mama.
Mama nodded and went with the others to follow Maria.
"Patient, experiencing heavy bleeding and shock due to sharp objects that enter and are forcibly removed. This causes the patient's small intestine should we cut 20 cm." explained Dr. Ester
Papa who heard that, seemed to faint and fell. He tried to strengthen himself to hear the doctor's explanation further.
"Trus how's Doc?" ask Papa faltering.
"Don't worry sir, we've done our best and the patient is safe from critical times. For now, patients need adequate rest and we will monitor their progress" said the doctor while calming Papa.
"Thank you Doctor for your help. Thank you" said Papa thanking.
"Yes sir. You welcome".
Doctor Esther then went and went to the Administration counter to write a report on the results of the operation Maria Puspa Jelita.
Papa then caught up with the others and finally arrived at Maria's room.
Due to the dark day, Papa undoes the intention to take Sisca and Nek Aisyah home.
Sisca and Nek Aisha insisted on waiting for Mary until she regained consciousness. Sisca then excuses her for calling her mother and telling her everything that happened.
Of course Sisca's mother was furious and asked her to come home tomorrow morning. Sisca's mother had not liked her son playing with Maria because she had too many problems. But Sisca didn't care about it.
"What are your permissions, son?" ask the suspicious Mama if Sisca's permission to her mother is not on vacation with Maria.
"Sorry aunt, if Sisca talks about going on vacation with Maria, Ibuk will disagree. So Sisca permits group work" said Sisca bowed and felt guilty.
"Yes, don't be sad. You are a good friend of Mary. Tomorrow when you go home, apologize to Mother yes son" Mama gave soft advice to Sisca.
All agreed to spend the night and wait for Maria in the inpatient room. The hospital allowed all of them to stay overnight due to an urgent situation.
Papa has contacted the Police and tomorrow morning, the Police will help bring Mama and the others home.
Next Day.
The time was right at 09:00 in the morning, and there was no sign of Maria kissing. The doctor came and examined Mary and was told to be patient and wait for her to come to her senses.
3 police officers came and met Papa. 1 other members will help drive Mama and the others home to return home. While Papa will take responsibility and take care of Maria.
The police have contacted Abi's family and informed them that the perpetrator is a criminal who will kidnap her son Arumi. The police will conduct an investigation by interviewing Maria as a victim and witness.
Papa is understood and ready to assist with the investigation.
On the other hand, on the day Maria was taken to the Hospital, Abi and others went to the Mother & Child Hospital in Bandung City to check on Arumi.
Arumi's condition is not worrisome because the wound on his body is a wound due to a fall and thankfully did not have an infection. But what the Doctor is worried about is the Psychic Trauma that Arumi will experience in the future.
After receiving treatment, Arumi is welcome to go home and can be treated at home. The doctor prescribed the medicine.
Abi and the others, finally reached home and immediately brought Arumi to rest in the room.
Mother that night slept with Arumi. Then Ahmad who was very tired, could not resist his drowsiness and fell asleep in his room.
Abi and Kak Izam are still waiting for news from the Police and after a few hours of waiting, finally got a call from the Police Station if this incident was purely kidnapping and there was a connection with business enemy Abi.
