"Keep your dirty hands away from him" said Ahmad, who appeared from behind and squeezed the man's arm tightly.
The man screamed in pain and begged for mercy. Ahmad paid no attention to the man's screams.
Without much ado, Ahmad twisted the man's arm back and pulled it hard. Not accepting his friend was treated so, another man came and tried to attack Ahmad from behind.
Ahmad, who was aware, immediately pushed the man in front of him and turned his body and hit the man who came from behind. The two men fell down and were not strong enough to wake up.
The citizens who saw, immediately broke up and pacified Ahmad. Maria then approached Ahmad and took his hand, and pulled Ahmad away from there.
The citizens simply secured the two men and allowed Ahmad to leave. Maria pulled Ahmad to follow her home.
Maria said nothing and simply pulled Ahmad's arm. Neighbors around the village saw Maria and Ahmad walking quickly. Maria did not care about the people's eyes.
Arriving in front of the house, Maria pulled Ahmad to sit on the terrace chair and he stayed inside.
Ahmad was silent. He felt sorry for showing the other side of himself that he was trying to hide.
After a few minutes, Maria came to the front carrying a medicine box. Maria then sat down next to Ahmad and began to treat Ahmad's bleeding hands.
Without saying a single word, Maria drips betadine onto a cotton swab and rubs it onto the wound on Ahmad's hand.
"Ouchh." Ahmad's hand felt sore.
"Silent." beat Maria to Ahmad's arm.
"I'm sorry Mar.." said Ahmad did not dare to look into Maria's eyes.
Maria did not answer and focused on completing her treatment.
"When do you want me to keep treating your hands?" asked Maria while narrowing her eyes
"Eyeah... " Amaz replied with a small laugh.
"I've never seen this other side of you" said Maria.
"I am the same. I don't want to show this side to anyone else. Sisi, who I tried to fight and beat"
"All right then.. But thank you for helping me" said Maria softly
"Together"
"But how did you suddenly get there?" ask Maria.
"Actually, I've been here and met Grandma. Grandma said you were going to church. Then I want to take a motorcycle in the next alley, see you have been bullied by the breng**ek people earlier." explained Ahmad a little emotion.
Maria just nodded.
"Oh yeah, when I got here, it seemed like Grandma was getting ready to leave. I wanted anterin, he didn't want to"
"Oh... That's Grandma going to Miss Anna's house."
"By the way, Miss Anna, why didn't she come?" mummy Maria.
"What happened to Miss Anna?" ask Ahmad
"Well, Miss Anna invited me to go to church there. But when looking for him, I even met a handsome man" said Maria smiling herself
"Ha... " Ahmad was surprised to make him stand up from his chair.
"Handsome Korean guy. Udah high, clean, fragrant, polite and apparently can speak Indonesian.. Unch.. The man of dreams" added Maria who still imagined Mingyu
"This must not happen" Ahmad said again sitting and staring at Maria.
"Huh..? Why can't I? " ask cynical Maria.
"I just can't" replied Ahmad stammering.
"Well, why?" ask Mary kekeh
"If you are wrong, I will kiss you unconscious" said Ahmad seriously who approached and looked at Maria's lips.
"Foolish boy" cried Maria pushed Ahmad's face, until Ahmad almost fell.
"Ci.ci.cium" said Maria stammering.
"It seems, this is a sign that I need to be more aggressive from now on" said Ahmad, who was getting closer to Maria.
"Kowe ancen edhannn boy." cried Mary with a look of face that made anyone laugh to see her.
"I don't understand what you're saying. I don't understand Javanese" Ahmad shouted back and teased Maria.
The two of them were already like children fighting over something.
"Ehemm." said Grandma who turned out to have seen the ridiculous behavior of Maria and Ahmad.
It looks awkward position Ahmad who seems to be kissing and hugging Maria. And after seeing Grandma, the two of them returned to their respective quiet positions.
Grandma's gaze grew sharper towards the two of them and stared at each other.
"Oohh. Basic children today" said Grandma, then go into the house.
Maria followed in, and so did Ahmad.
Grandma then put a plastic bag that looks to contain the cake, put it on the table and went to the bathroom to wash the feet.
Ahmad and Maria were sitting in the living room chair silent like a boy caught stealing.
Grandma then returned to the living room and opened the plastic bag and told Ahmad and Maria to eat it.
Grandma just stared at the two of them with a sharp and intimidating look.
"What's wrong with Ahmad? Hemm?" asked Grandma in a soft tone but sounded firm.
"Sorry Nek, if Ahmad is excessive" replied Ahmad lowered his head not daring to look at Grandma.
Then Grandma sighed and unintentionally looked towards Ahmad's arm.
"Loh Nak Ahmad's hand why?" ask Grandma to worry.
"Yes Grandma, Maria thought Grandma would be angry this crazy boy. Uh now change worry. Ottoke?" mummy Maria.
"Well, now suddenly mixed Korean" muttered Maria while patting her eel.
The grandmother who saw Mary's behavior could only shake her head.
Ahmad then explained the chronology of the incident that happened to Maria and Ahmad.
Grandma who heard that, said thank you and told Ahmad to spend all the cake that Grandma brought.
"Well, how's Maria?" maria asked confused.
"No need, just love Ahmad" said Grandma, smiling at Ahmad
"Bright... " Mary was surprised as she covered her mouth with her hands in disbelief at what she heard.
From the side, Ahmad smirked thinly while looking at Maria with the intention of mocking her.
Maria responded with Bombastic Side Eye.
"Oh yes, Grandma almost forgot to talk" said Grandma break the atmosphere.
"Eh.. What's up, Grandma?"
"So, Miss Anna did not come to the church because she was preparing for the celebration of the arrival of her son who went to school abroad"
"Ohh.. That's why Mary didn't see Miss Anna" Maria replied
"Yes nduk. Tomorrow Monday afternoon, you go home from school with Grandma to be picked up by Bu Anna's driver to his house."
"We were asked to help surprise her son. If not wrong, the show is at 7 pm" added Grandma.
"What kind of clothes do we wear, Grandma? Is there a dresscode?" ask Maria.
"Nothing. Tomorrow you go home from school, don't change clothes. We'll go straight away and lent the dress there."
"Actually, her son had already come 1 week ago. Just because tomorrow is her son's birthday, Miss Anna all celebrate the same as celebrating his arrival from overseas student exchange studies" said Grandma.
"Okay Deh Nek, Maria came" said Maria agreed
