Vishnu's hand wiped the sweat on his forehead. This scorching heat makes Vishnu's body wet with sweat. But the man could not rebel because he was still at the stage of punishment.
"When I'm done njir!" Vishnu put the rough garbage into the bag he carried everywhere while cleaning the campus environment.
"Young master!" Vishnu knows whose voice it is. Gilang—si troublemaker. Vishnu did not look at Gilang even though Gilang had patted him on the shoulder.
"Lo okay?" ask Gilang. "Patience, two more days are over, young master," continued Gilang.
"Lo know where the fuck Arfin is?" Vishnu asked while picking up plastic waste and empty drink bottles.
"That's what I want to ask you, Wis. I don't see Arfin either" he replied.
"I think he's avoiding us." Baim came to interrupt the conversation of Vishnu and Gilang. "Gue squirms him out of class, just as I call him to run. Kentara really avoid again," explained Baim sipping his cigarette.
"Maybe because of yesterday. The one in the bar," said Gilang glanced at Vishnu.
Vishnu stopped his activity for a moment, putting his hand on his waist. "Gue doesn't care if he wants to avoid it or not. All I know is that he is not my friend" said Vishnu. "She's been outrageous with me, too meddling. And I don't like the same people who like to interfere especially when I'm the same girl that rese." After saying that, Vishnu resumed his work but this time somewhat moved away from Gilang and Baim.
Gilang and Baim saw Vishnu upset. Indeed, all this time the man was very annoying but the level of infuriating Vishnu has not been counted. Planned crazy things for Eleena and cut off the friendship with Arfin unilaterally.
"Lo tau Arfin is not wrong." Baim threw away the cigarette butts, turning to look at Gilang who was still staring at Vishnu carrying out the punishment.
"We all know, but yes, we can't do anything, Im. My family life depends on Vishnu."
Baim nodded in agreement to Gilang's words. It is true, their family lives both depend on Vishnu. Their father both worked at the company owned by Rama—ayah Vishnu. They know working there is very difficult, but thanks to Vishnu, their father easily worked there. Even Vishnu has also guaranteed that after they graduate from college later, Baim and Gilang will be immediately hired as permanent employees in the company that will belong to Vishnu someday. These two helpless humans had no choice but to obey and become the lackeys of Vishnu. Arfin at least his life is guaranteed because he was born into a rich man's child, different from them. Sometimes, we have to live according to the reality shown by the world. If you have nothing, obey someone who has power if you do not want to be hurt.
And here, Arfin and Eleena were joking while enjoying ice cream in hand. Arfin's eyes had only focused on Eleena but now Arfin's black iris met Vishnu's hazel iris even from a distance. Immediately he threw away his gaze somewhere else.
Arfin admitted that he avoided Vishnu and the others. But it's not just because of what happened at the bar last night, but there's something else. Arfin knew very well Vishnu was angry with him, especially after knowing what decision Arfin had thought carefully after he set foot into the house. Arfin is ready to lose his friendship with Vishnu, but he cannot lose friends like Baim and Gilang. If now Arfin said that to Vishnu, it is clear that his relationship with Vishnu ended as well as with Gilang and Baim. The two humans are very fond of being the babu of Vishnu, it is clear that Vishnu broke with Arfin, Baim and Gilang will also do the same.
Arfin was scared, he was distraught, but seeing Eleena's smile, a little made Arfin feel relieved. Arfin could not forget how hysterical Eleena cried last night, Arfin had not even asked if the girl was okay at home or not. Arfin did not want to discuss it again in front of Eleena, Arfin understood very well that the girl still had trauma due to the insolent deeds of Vishnu.
...****...
Vishnu's car arrived at the yard of the Aksanta family residence. With his haughty style he got out of the car into the house with his hands stuffed into a bag of pants.
All the servants in the house saluted Vishnu who stepped inside.
Vishnu's steps came to a halt when his iris caught a middle-aged man standing not far from him. The sharp gaze of the man and the two hands that were put into the bag of pants, just like Vishnu. The falling fruit is never far from the tree.
"Just come home at this hour?" Rama shows his watch to Vishnu. The man who still had his right hand in his pants pocket approached the hazel-eyed man who was still not moving from the spot.
"Crazy? Or are you going crazy?" Rama's question subdues Vishnu's view. "I don't like it when I talk to other people, my interlocutors are down." Vishnu spontaneously raised his gaze.
"Are you crazy?" Vishnu. "Old home, clothes are messy, I'm the same as Gilang, you guys today have no agenda to the bar. So, you should be able to go home before dinner."
"Pa—"
"You can't take the excuse of your punishment, it's purely your own fault." Rama cut Vishnu's words.
"Your personality, your appearance, does not at all reflect that you are the son of Aksanta. Maybe a layman would think you're a crazy handsome bum." Even Rama can still praise his son while insinuating.
Rama walks around the chaotic Vishnu. The messy hair, the shirt that was taken out, the sleeves that were rolled up next door, really looked like a handsome bum.
"I don't think you have a job at all. Why are you going to be home longer than I am?"
Vishnu wanted to answer but the trunks of Meethila who peered behind the walls undoed Vishnu's intentions.
"You're mute now? Or deaf? Or both?"
Vishnu is still tight-lipped. Rama sighed for a moment before he gave the bogeman on Vishnu's left cheek.
"I told you, I don't like being ignored by my interlocutors. If I ask, it is answered. If I speak don't be interrupted."
Rama applauded Vishnu's reply. Laughter appreciates the words of her son. Rama stopped his laughter immediately, staring intently at Vishnu. He patted Vishnu's shoulder many times.
"A good answer. I like it" whispered Rama.
Meethila who peeked at all the events there, did not understand what Rama meant. The man who was her husband didn't even tell them what he was going to do to their son.
"Vishnu, I think, I'm tired of seeing you myself."
"I mean Papa?"
Rama brings up a smile from the corner of his lips, "Do you have a lover?" Vishnu. "In that case, I will make you have a lover" continued Rama.
Vishnu was surprised by what Rama said just now, even Meethila as well. He did not expect Rama would talk like this, usually Rama most anti discuss about Vishnu couple but why now the man said he wanted to give Vishnu lover.
"Vishnu, papa has a friend who is quite close to papa. And papa is planning to match you with his daughter. You are the same age," said Rama, this time smiling sincerely.
"Stupid? The same people I don't know?"
"You can meet him, whenever you want" Rama replied.
The man wearing a white T-shirt is waiting for the next answer from Vishnu about this plan.
"No." Rama's smile faded. "I don't want to be fooled, until anytime I never want to be fooled!" Vishnu gave a loud answer.
"Father there is no right to my life. I'm the one who has the right to be in a relationship or not!"
Plakk
Rama slaps Vishnu strong. Making a man in a blue shirt with disheveled hair fall to the floor. Rama crouched down, likening his height to Vishnu.
"It's rude to be a child." Vishnu stared at Rama sharply returning a sharp gaze from Rama.
"I didn't ask for your approval, but I'm asking you to accept this." Rama stood up, walking away from Vishnu.
"The same Aerospace Family?" Rama's steps stopped. "They're the only ones with daughters!" Rama turned his body, looking at Vishnu who was trying to stand up.
"I would never want to be fooled by the Aerospace family!" vishnu Lantang.
Meethila closed her mouth, she could not imagine how the fate of Vishnu next.
"Well, are you here?" Meethila turned to the voice coming from the mother-in-law who had been out of nowhere standing next to her. The eyes of his mother-in-law lead to a debate between Rama and Vishnu.
Her mother-in-law and her husband approached Rama and Vishnu who were still fighting about arranged marriages.
"You don't have to argue with me!" Rama cut Vishnu's words. "Just accept this match, and get it all done. I want you to change, so I give you a partner."
"The Agustama family? Will I be fooled by them?"
"Take care of your words Vishnu Son of Aksanta!" snapped Rama. The man's hand moved to grip the collar of Vishnu's shirt, the neck veins of Rama can be seen. His reddened face explained the anger of the man 50 years old and above.
"Take care of your words" Rama repeated. He pushed Vishnu roughly, almost making Vishnu fall.
"Never say that word again, in this house. You are the son of the Aksanta family, never connect with the children of the Agustama family," added Mother Rama.
"Mama, don't say that name" said Rama.
Rama ruffles his hair in frustration, kicking the leg of the sofa away from there leaving the battered Vishnu along with his parents.
Rama's mother approached Vishnu, stroking the shoulders of his only grandson. "Darling, don't ever mention that name again here huh. Papa you're a little sensitive," the old woman's advice.
Vishnu turned to look at Meethila who was still hiding. One problem is not finished, but there are other problems. Rama is too hard on everything. And Vishnu hated being forced.
