The item fell out of a woman's bag as she searched the contents of her bag. Without checking again, the woman walked away from the watch that had fallen on the road.
Rama saw. The man ran to pick up the watch and immediately approached the owner.
"Excuse me!" Rama's voice called out to the man a little. The woman who felt that Rama's voice was fixed on her, turned her back.
The universe again. The fate of the world brings Rama's hazel iris to meet Sinta's brown iris. An accident created the deep gaze of two people. Not the first meeting, but it still feels the same. There was a bit of awkwardness and fear to get close, but Rama had a reason why he called Sinta.
"It." Rama offered the watch he had found on the street. "So fell out of your bag."
Sinta was a bit hesitant, but after seeing the clingy watch in Rama's hands, Sinta ventured to take it. With a slow motion and a little fear, Sinta took her watch from Rama and put it in a bag.
"Ma-thank you" said Sinta without looking at Rama.
"Other times be careful, Sin," said Rama, displaying a small smile.
Sinta replied with a nod, still reluctant to raise her gaze and look at Rama. However, from the puddle that became the distance between the two of them, Sinta could see the reflection of Rama smiling from there. It's beautiful, it's the same and it won't change.
"Rama!" Sinta raised her gaze and Rama turned her body when the voice echoed in her ears.
That lady. One of the people who became the reason why Rama and Sinta could end up being strangers. The woman who walked towards them, gave a fright to Sinta. The sharp and cynical look that the woman was aiming at him, made Sinta have to step back slowly.
The woman came, she looked at Sinta as if pouncing and finishing off the woman right now. A woman who was decades older than Sinta, the woman who was Rama's mother, Sinta was afraid of him.
"Don't be with him!" The woman said firmly, pulling Rama's hand away from the place immediately.
Not much to say, but just move. Rama's mother did not comment on anything in the car as she looked with her own eyes Sinta and Rama met again. But, of course the old woman would not stay silent. The woman who was Vishnu's grandmother reported the brief incident she saw earlier to her husband.
And behold, when all the people had finished dinner, when Vishnu was about to walk into the room, the commotion in the house of Aksanta began.
Plakk
The sound of a slap was so loud, it echoed throughout the room. Even Vishnu had to close his ears if he did not want something to happen to his ears. Vishnu who had just risen from sitting, saw how the loud slap from his grandfather dropped Rama to the floor.
Not only is the red color plastered, but a wound on the lower lip becomes a new pattern on Rama's face. The middle-aged man raised his gaze, looking at the person who had already given him a slap.
"You know crazy? You're a madman of all the crazies I've ever met in my entire life, Rama!"
Not only a slap, but the sound was also so loud that it boomed all over the side of this palace-like house.
"Mom don't know why you're like this, Rama." The woman who was the culprit of this commotion began to make a sound. She did not help Rama wake up, instead she just stared at her son who fell due to the slap of her husband.
Meethila certainly did not stay silent, once she saw Rama fell down, Meethila immediately helped her husband stand up. As a good wife, Meethila held Rama so as not to oyong or lose balance because of the sight of the slap it must still be so felt.
The veins of the man who was Rama's father are visible. The red face, fiery eyes had already strongly informed that the man was at the peak of his anger.
"You're a family disgrace, Rama!" Unable to resist, Rama's father pushed the man roughly, making Rama fall back to the floor, until the back of his head had to be hit by the end of a glass table.
"Mas." Meethila approaches Rama, helping Rama again.
"If there is more than a crazy word I can say to you. I, will say it soon, Rama," said the man.
"Not in a relationship, Pa!" Rama cut. "I'm the same, I love nothing. I'm just—"
"You don't have to cut off your Papa, Ram," his mother said.
"I don't cut, Ma. Just Papa should know, what's really going on."
"What exactly happened?" ask Rama's father.
"Tadi—"
"I told you, Pa. He met Sinta again and it was planned. They stare long enough, that's obvious."
Rama's mother did not give Rama the opportunity to speak for a second. There was no harm in Rama clenching his hands.
"Again and again. He met the boy. For the umpteenth time, you meet with Agustama members again. Aren't you sick of Rama continuing to meet that damn woman."
"Mama!" Rama snapped at his mother's words. "Love isn't a fucking woman, she's a fine woman" Rama continued.
"Well she's a good girl or not, I'll never care." Rama's father started to speak again.
"You, break your promise. Meeting with Agustama members is a sin, Rama. And you have committed a sin."
"Love is not a sin. He's a gift, because God wants me to see him again" Rama replied.
"Shut your mouth, Rama!" loud dad. "Dare to argue with me, that means you dare to take risks in the future."
"Pa, I've never met Sinta. And now I have never met Sinta. I'll keep hoping fate brings me to him again."
Finished the sentence said one bogeman landed smoothly on Rama's face. I don't know how many times Rama fell to the floor. As a result of the match, Rama's father pulls Rama's collar, punch after punch to his 50-year-old son.
No one can help. When Rama was seen so limp because of every blow given by his father, no one dared to help. Meethila stood still motionless from the spot, while Vishnu, the man's legs trembled at how his grandfather dealt a blow to his father.
Last blow. Rama has no energy anymore. All parts of his body hurt.
"Last warning. Never meet with Agustama." Rama's father pressed down on every sentence.
"You have committed a sin, Rama. Do not sin again because you met the woman. If I ever know you meet that woman again, I can make sure that you'll die in my hands."
The creepy sentence was thrown out clearly from Rama's father. The old man left that place. No matter how Rama held his head that had been drenched in blood due to a blow from his father.
"Rama, remember what Agustama did to you, son. Don't ever meet their members again, don't repeat the mistake." The woman who originally gave a smile but when she said the last four sentences, the smile on her face disappeared.
Following in the footsteps of her husband, Rama's mother also left Rama alone there. And finally, it was Meethila who helped Rama to stand. With Rama in his arms, Meethila tried to get her husband out of here.
Vishnu realizes that Meethila looks tired carrying Rama, so the man took the initiative to help his mother. They put Rama in the room, laid him on the bed. And painstakingly, as soon as the medicine box came out, Meethila treated Rama's wounds one by one.
Vishnu never thought that he could see such an unpleasant event. Seeing the rampage from his grandfather like this, and seeing the helpless Rama, all these things were new to him.
Just because Sinta Dela Agustama, Alrama Aksanta get a terrible blow, this is one of the question marks for Vishnu.
