Chapter 19 - Dennis is Heartbroken

Two days later....

Dennis comes to Winny's parents' house not far from his girlfriend's residence.

Using a motorbike they arrived at a two-story building with a courtyard not too broad as the residence of Hana's parents.

Dennis and Winny walked into the house not forgetting to say hello. They both sat on the same couch.

"So you're Dennis?" ask Winny's father.

"Yes, Uncle."

"It just so happens that you're here, so you're talking, Uncle" said the middle-aged man again.

"Speak what, Pa?" ask Winny.

"Actually Papa has already betrothed you to a young man" he replied.

"Pa, I don't want to be betrothed." Winny refused it firmly.

"Uncle, Aunt, I'm serious about Winny. If you want, we're getting married tonight" Dennis said.

"I still disagree, you married our daughter" Winny said.

"What's the reason, Ma?" ask Winny.

"We promised his parents to marry you to his son. Next week they will come" replied the middle-aged woman.

"Ma, Pa, I still wouldn't want to get married if it wasn't Dennis" Winny said.

"Don't argue, Winny. Your efforts if not the intervention of his parents will stay that big!" papanya.

"How should I change their money, Uncle?" ask Dennis.

"No need, Dennis boy. We promised and we must keep it. Thank you for loving Winny but I'm sorry you can't get married" said her mother.

"Pa, Ma, please don't do this to me!" Winny knelt down touching her mother's thigh and looked at her.

"I'm sorry, son. " Winny's mom looks teary.

"Dennis, you better go home" said Winny's Papa softly.

"Uncle, please think again about Winny's match with another man" Dennis said.

"Our decision is already unanimous, son." Mama Winny chimed.

"Ma, I don't want to be betrothed. Don't be selfish like this" said Winny who was teary-eyed.

Dennis doesn't want to leave his girlfriend.

"What else do you want here? Go!" drive Winny's Papa away.

"Uncle..."

"We love Winny and know what's best for her" Winny said.

Dennis finally came home with a broken heart.

Inside her room, she spilled her unbearable tears at Winny's parents' house.

"What should I do?" Dennis grabbed his hair.

In the morning, Hana and Arya meet at a cafe.

"What about our plan?"

"Everything went well. Winny's parents complied with my request."

"Good."

"If you and Winny get married, I'll keep my promise" Hana said.

"We can't get married soon, miss. Winny is still sad especially yesterday they just accepted the reality."

"Why can't it? The faster the better."

"Yesterday Dennis even said he was ready to marry Winny that night, didn't a man seem so rare?"

Hana laughed wryly.

"I don't think our plan will be discovered, will it?" ask Arya.

"As long as you don't open your mouth everything is safe" Hana replied.

"Alright, I'm happy doing business with Miss."

Hana accidentally comes to Darrell's office only to meet with Dennis. Arriving there approached the man's desk.

"Miss Hana!" Dennis raised his head.

"Hi, how are you?"

"Good, Miss."

"I want to eat ice cream, can you be my friend?"

"I'm sorry, I can't."

"Why? Isn't your lover's ice cream shop?"

"I'm still busy, if you want Miss to go there herself" Dennis replied.

"Oh, well I'll go there myself.

Hana set off for Winny's ice cream shop once she got there, she smiled grinning. Surely the plan worked, no affection he saw or heard from the former lovers.

Winny just nodded then made a customer order.

Winny handed the ice cream to Hana and mentioned her total spending.

"Why lethargic? Is there another problem?" ask Hana to pretend.

Winny.

"Need a confiding friend?" Hana offered herself.

Winny nodded.

The two also chatted, Hana put on a face pretending to empathize when she was very sneaky.

Winny could not hold back her tears, again Hana played the drama by hugging him.

After Winny finished spilling her heart, Hana came home with a fluffy smile.

Hana comes to Dennis's residence with food.

Dennis seemed surprised by the appearance of the woman in front of him.

"I know you're heartbroken, so I'm here to bring you food."

"Please come in, Miss." Dennis opened the door wide.

Not wanting to be a slander, the two sat in the living room.

Hana opens the food box and thrusts it to Dennis who initially rejects it finally wants too.

Hana is back to playing her role well, as if being an angel to Dennis and Winny when she is the real destroyer.

"Don't get discouraged, maybe Winny isn't your soul mate!" Hana said by chewing cucumber.

"But I love him so much" Dennis said in a sad tone.

"If your destiny says no, it will still make you sick" Hana said as if she were the wisest.

Dennis took a breath.

"Rise up, your life can't end because of this breakup, can it?"

A week passed the Winny application event was held. Dennis only got word from his ex through a short message.

Dennis is getting more and more unbecoming, his job is neglected so Darrell suggests taking a short vacation.

Hana comes to be an entertainer for Dennis, he invites the man to enjoy the near future watching the cinema and playing golf.

However, Dennis remains not completely out of the shadow of his lover.

Dennis always mispronounced Hana.

"I know that you haven't been able to forget it, but please don't say my name wrong" Hana said with a smile.

"Sorry, Miss."

"Then I say don't call me Miss again."

"I forgot, sorry."

"Well, today I forgive you. Tomorrow don't get me wrong again" said Hana.

"Ready, Miss. Uh, Hana!" Dennis laughing.

Hannah laughed too.

Tiga weeks passed...

Winny and Arya's wedding party ensues, Dennis gets an invitation but refuses to come.

Finally, Hana went alone congratulating the two newlyweds.

Looks like Winny's trying to find Dennis.

"He won't come" said Hana.

Winny's face was sad.

"She just sends her greetings may you live happily ever after" Hana said glancing at Arya.

"Thank you, Miss."

"Honey, actually Miss Hana is my business partner" said Arya.

"It's a coincidence, yeah." Winny tried to smile.

"I didn't expect that Aryan's wife was you" Hana said falsely.

"Do you really not know, Miss?" ask Arya.

"Yes, I just found out when I read your wedding invitations" replied Hana.

Arya and Winny smiled at Hana's reply.

"Again happy for you, happy for you" he said.

"Together, may Miss also be happy," Arya pulled the tip of her lips.

Hana also grinned.

Hana then looked at Winny and said, "Look at your husband now, don't look back."
