Chapter 54 - S2 - Dayna Failed to Get Engaged

Today the engagement plans of Dayna and Rafael will be held. Both of Dayna's parents asked if the event was held at night and not attended by many guests enough Harsya's nuclear family and some of her daughter's friends.

Dayna and Rafael don't mind that, it's important for them to get engaged.

A happy smile emanated from the look on Dayna's face that would be engaged to her heart.

"Day, make sure your potential fiance is not late" Darrell said.

"Yes, Pa. Rafael will be here at around seven" Dayna said.

"Alright," said Darrell then passed.

Dayna was busy putting makeup on to help the MUA team.

The time shows almost at 7 pm, the guests one by one have filled the seats provided in the back garden.

Harsya came with his wife and son Hanan. While his daughter could not attend because she was pregnant young and had to be accompanied by Dennis.

Alvan was with his parents.

At 7 past 5 minutes, Rafael and 2 middle-aged men were present at the Dayna residence.

Darrell and his wife Biom and Rissa welcome the family of his lover Dayna.

They sit in the front row.

10 Minutes later, Dayna appeared before her guests and lovers, all eyes on her and praising her beauty tonight.

The MCs started to open the show, the guests heard it so intently.

Until the ring exchange in front of the guests.

Alvan tried hard and smiled even though his heart was hurt.

Dayna smiled as her fingers were pinned by Rafael, her turn to pair them.

There was a noise from the end of the guest chair, everything was directed towards him including a couple who were happy.

The gunmen, approaching Rafael and folding his hands back.

Suddenly, the guests present including Dayna screamed in surprise.

"Take me off!" rafael Sentak.

"What did you guys do to him?" ask Dayna out loud.

"Sorry, Miss. He has to be restrained" replied one of the gunmen.

"What has he done?" ask Dayna again who is starting to get scared.

"He has committed fraud and money laundering" the man replied again.

"Huh. What!" Dayna was so shocked.

Rafael was taken without a fight and 2 middle-aged men were also led with him.

Dayna's body was instantly hollowed out, lucky Darrell was holding her. Alvan who saw him was rushing over.

Dayna's tears spilled. The guests began to whisper.

"Father, Mama," said Dayna.

Nayna hugged him.

"He lied to me" Dayna said.

"Calm down, son." Nayna said softly.

Alvan gives Dayna water and the girl drinks it.

"I'm sorry Papa, Day. This is all our plan" Darrell said.

Dayna looked at her papa.

"Later we will explain, now you just rest first" said Darrell.

Dayna nodded slowly.

Nayna is assisted by Alvan to demand Dayna go to his room.

Darrell approaches Harsya and her other friends.

"In the end your plan succeeded" said Rama.

Darrell nodded slowly.

"We want to go home, hopefully after this Dayna is more careful to choose a candidate, sister." Harsya.

"Yes, if I don't do this maybe the kid's hard to advise" Darrell said.

"Yes, only in this way can we prove it" Harsya said.

The guests have already said goodbye.

Now in the room there was Nayna and her husband, Rissa had strengthened her nephew to be patient.

The next day, Darrell tells his daughter everything. Inviting the wife as well, they chatted inside the study.

Darrell stroked his daughter's hair.

"Papa can't possibly let you fall into the hands of the wrong man" Darrell said.

Dayna remembered that time, she called the father but instead Alvan came to pick him up.

"To abroad? What'd he want to do there?" ask Dayna.

"He wanted to pursue his first love" replied Nayna.

Dayna frowned.

"Have, what are you waiting for? Hurry up before you go to the airport" Nayna said.

Dayna nodded then stepped out of the room quickly.

"Will Alvan go abroad?" ask Darrell to approach his wife.

Nayna shook her head.

"Why lie to him?" ask Darrell again.

"Let him meet quickly" replied Nayna.

Darrell grabbed his wife's shoulder and kissed the tip of her head.

"It's good not my idea?" Nayna looked up at his face.

"You're the one who understands this the most" Darrell said.

"Of course" said Nayna proudly.

Before getting married, Darrell did not want to return to his homeland. Finally, Nayna was sent to persuade and seduce him to go home on the orders of his mother Harsya.

It is not easy to melt his heart to want to come back and give blessing to Rissa.

As time went on and the words spoken by Nayna finally he wanted to go home and settle down.

Their closeness is getting closer especially her mother Harsya always asked Nayna to deliver food for herself.

The seed of love grew between them and eventually married until Dayna was born.

The idea of a fiancee challenge is also from Nayna. At first Darrell refused for fear of embarrassment if he had to invite the crowd.

Hence the event was made evenings and took place behind closed doors, only a few close families such as Harsya, Rama, Biom and Alpha were present. Everything is indeed a secret from relatives and other families both in and out of town.

All are arranged as best as possible without being known by outsiders, especially the media.

Dayna arrived at the Alpha residence, rushed down and saw the house was quiet.

Dayna pressed the bell many times, there was the sound of someone opening the door.

Dayna sees Alvan in shorts and a t-shirt.

"Dayna?" Alvan looked to his right and left.

"I'm alone" Dayna said before being asked.

"What's up here?"

"Say you want to go abroad."

Alvan's forehead immediately wrinkled.

"But, why does it still look relaxed?" ask Dayna.

"Who said I'd go abroad?" Alvan asked back.

"My mom."

"I don't have any plans to go abroad, maybe Aunt Nayna misspoke" Alvan said.

Nayna grunting.

Alvan then laughed, "You've been lied to!"

Nayna breathed.

"Here home!" throw Alvan out in a joking manner.

"I'm going home but now I want to say sorry and thank you" Dayna said.

"Make what?"

"You once advised me not to continue with him. Last night it all came out, so I felt guilty not hearing you."

"Oh."

"Thank you, yeah."

Alvan just nodded and smiled slightly.

"Then I say goodbye" Dayna said, then turned her back.

"That's it?"
