Chapter 64 - S2 - Alvan Disappears

This morning Dayna enjoyed breakfast with her parents.

"Have you checked the wedding hall?" ask Nayna.

"Not yet, Ma."

"Why hasn't it been checked?" ask Nayna.

"Not yet, Alvan is still busy. It's probably late in the afternoon" Dayna replied.

"Oh, yes, I have. Need Mama's company?" Nayna offered herself.

"By, Ma."

"Me and Dayna will be home early to pick you up" Darrell said.

Nayna.

"Alvan will also catch up with us there" Dayna said.

Dayna and her father went to work together. Alvan sends a message if a little late to the building because there is a meeting around 2 o'clock.

Dayna then replied yes.

At 3 o'clock in 30 minutes, Dayna and her father walked out of the office to her residence to pick up Nayna.

After Nayna was picked up, the three rushed to the wedding building which will be held in a week.

Dayna surrounds the building with her parents, before Nayna and her husband have also visited the place.

In addition to them there is also the Wedding Organizer party come to see the place that will decorate.

At 5 o'clock past 10 on Dayna and both parents an hour in the building. Alvan is not coming.

"Where is he going, 'clean?" Dayna grumbling.

"Maybe it's still on the road" Nayna said.

"But, it's been a long time. It's been almost an hour here" Dayna said.

"Did he send a message?" ask Darrell.

"Four hours ago he said again in the car and will be heading here. It's been over an hour" Dayna said.

"Maybe stuck in traffic" said Nayna.

"If it's stuck in traffic, it can tell me" Dayna said.

"Yes, try calling" Darrell suggested.

Dayna calls Alvan's cell phone but is inactive.

Dayna was upset.

"How's it?" ask Darrell.

"His phone is dead" Dayna replied.

"It's not usual for Alvan to turn off his phone at this hour" Darrell said.

Dayna agreed to her papa's remarks.

"Try calling Alpha, Pa. Who knows they're together" Nayna proposes.

"I'll call her soon" said Darrell.

Contacting Alpha, it is not until 10 seconds that the call is answered.

"Hello, Rail. What's up?"

"Alpha, is Alvan still in the office?"

"Before four o'clock he said he wanted to go to the wedding building."

"Until now, Alvan had not come. The phone is hard to reach" Darrell said.

Alpha took a breath trying to calm down.

"Did Alvan deactivate his phone often?" ask Darrell.

"He never turned off his cell phone except at night while sleeping. That's very rare, too" replied Alpha.

"Then where's Alvan?" ask Darrell again.

"I'll try calling home."

"I'll wait, Al."

Darrell then turned off his phone, 3 minutes later a message notification was heard .

"How, Pa?" ask Dayna.

"Alvan's father said he wasn't home" Darrell replied.

"Yes, geez. Where exactly is he going? Wanting to play us," Dayna looked so disappointed.

Alpha who was so worried about his son that his wife kept urging him to search for his whereabouts eventually told his men to spread out.

Alpha tracks down his son's cell phone that last appeared between the office and the wedding hall.

Alpha asked some of his men to go down the road believed to be passed by Alvan.

Not until 15 minutes, the news was obtained by Alvan. His son's car looked empty and parked on the side of the road.

Instantly anxiety and panic enveloped Alpha's chest. Ask Biom and Hanan for help in finding her son's whereabouts.

Hanan goes to his sister-in-law and says if Alvan disappears, his car is on the road and his phone is off.

The two women rushed to Astrid's house.

Harsya, who heard it, contacted Darrell.

"What's? Alvan's missing? How come?" Dayna couldn't believe it.

"You better get home now, let the driver drive her. I'm going with Uncle Harsya." Darrell.

Nayna and Dayna nodded.

On the way home, Dayna recalled all the words of her future husband a few days ago.

"Did he do this dirty way to draw sympathy from me?" Dayna.

"No way, Alvan did something stupid just because it needed my attention," Dayna's inner self further denied.

"May Alvan be well" hoped the anxious Nayna.

The hour hand showed at 8 p.m., Nayna contacted her husband asking if Alvan had been found or not.

"We have not found a bright spot about Alvan's whereabouts because the road is very quiet" Darrell said.

"Have you been down the end of the road that Alvan was on?" ask Darrell.

"Already, Nay."

"Is there a cut or a shortcut?"

"I don't know."

"Tell Alpha, who knows if someone took Alvan down the rat's path" Nayna suggested.

"I'll try to tell you" Darrell said.

Nayna then turned off her phone.

"Alvan was kidnapped, Ma?" ask Dayna.

"Mama is sure someone kidnapped her" replied Nayna.

Dayna closed her mouth, and her eyes glazed over. His heartbeat was unbearable, a sense of worry enveloped his heart.

"May not happen with him" said Dayna.

Nayna hugged her daughter.

"I'm scared, Ma."

"We both pray. May Alvan be found safe."

"Even though I didn't want this wedding but I didn't want anything bad to happen to her" Dayna said, her tears were not as noticeable.

"Everything will be fine" Nayna said of winning her daughter.

At the location of the street where Alvan's car was found. Alpha's men followed Nayna's orders to walk through every narrow street.

There are 6 of his men Alpha walk with makeshift lighting because the passage is very dark and there are no houses.

Alpha's waiting in the car with Dennis and Hanan.

Darrell decides to go home because Dayna keeps crying.

"Uncle, gohome. Let me and Hanan here. Bryan and Ryder will be here soon. They're looking for Alvan to some of his friends' homes he's been to" Dennis said.

"No, Son. Uncle will stay here until Alvan is found" Alpha said.

"Tante Astrid needs an Uncle, especially Bryan said that Alana kept calling him asking for news from her brother" Dennis said.

"But, Dennis..."

"What Brother Dennis said is right, Uncle. Come home, the night wind is not good especially we have been almost five hours here," said Hanan.

Alpha mangut-mangut understand.

Dennis then had the driver and one of his men Alpha drive the middle-aged man home.

10 Minutes later, Alpha's home. Dennis contacted the men who were walking down the narrow streets but the signal was not good enough.

Dennis finally sent a message.

Waiting for 15 minutes, only get a reply if they do not find any clues.

Dennis then sent 3 more people to deliver food and drinks following 6 other people on the road.

Dennis asked them not to come back before sunrise.

The three men used large bags delivering food and drinks to prop up the stomach and carried a large enough flashlight.

Dennis also asked Alpha's men not to turn off the phones. To make their communication run smoothly without obstacles.

Bryan and Ryder approach Hanan and Dennis.

"How's it?" ask Dennis.

"In this one day Alvan had no one to contact them or come to them" Ryder replied.

Dennis took a breath.

At about 4am, Hanan's phone rang Bryan's spring which heard him wake him up.

Hanan then picked up and answered, "Hello."

"Hello, Mister. We found one suspected shoe belonging to Mr. Alvan."

"We'll be there soon!" hanan said quickly.
