Chapter 55 - S2 - Not Wanting to Ruin a Friendship

Dayna halted her steps and turned her back and looked at Alvan who was holding her chest.

"I saved you from him, just a thank you and an apology?" ask Alvan.

"Yes, then what should I do?" Dayna asked back.

"You must marry me" replied Alvan.

"Huh."

"Why?"

"A. I. don't want to marry you."

"Then I don't accept your apology and will sue you" Alvan said casually.

"You want to sue me, what did I do wrong?" ask Dayna.

"First you toyed with my feelings and secondly I had to lie to do the plan."

Dayna laughed cynically.

"You think I'm stupid? Where could such a report be received," Dayna said.

Alvan is looking for the right words to conquer the heart of the girl before him.

"Once you go, I'm going home. Later in the day, meet me at a restaurant near the beach" Dayna said.

"You're taking me to lunch?" ask Alvan.

"Yes, that. Think of it as my thanks" Dayna replied.

"Hemm, okay. But we're just gonna eat together, aren't we?" ask Alvan again.

"No, Van. Other restaurant guests, would you like to be accompanied?"

"I mean the others didn't come, did they?"

"No."

"Alright, I'll come before twelve in the afternoon" Alvan said.

In the afternoon, the two are now in a restaurant that provides various seafood dishes.

"Let's eat, Van. I've ordered your favorite Padang shrimp sausage and boiled seashells for pineapple" Dayna said.

"You still remember my favorite," said Alvan.

"We have been friends from childhood, of course I memorize your favorite foods and others" Dayna said.

Alvan began to eat the dish with voraciously so did Dayna.

"I'm glad you didn't dissolve in sadness" Alvan said.

"Men like that for what is grieved let alone mama and papa have explained it" said Dayna.

"Then what are you going to do next?" ask Alvan.

"Stay working and find a guy I like."

"If the guy you like is like that too, how is it?" ask Alvan again.

"Let's not say a prayer so I can find the right man and we love each other" Dayna replied.

"What if the right man was me?" Alvan looked at the girl in front of him.

Dayna remained silent.

Alvan grabbed the tissue and wiped Dayna's lips, which were covered in sausage spices.

Dayna let Alvan clean her lips, after she finished thanking him.

"I know you're very hungry, but if you eat watch your face" said Alvan.

"I was overzealous and quite surprised by what you said that overconfidently," Dayna said slightly pulling the tip of her lips.

"I'm serious, Day."

"I don't want if one day it fails, we'll be enemies" Dayna said.

Alvan was silent and digested Dayna's words if they did not want their friendship to be strained due to heart problems.

"I'm sure one day you'll find a woman who loves you so much, Van."

Alvan only smiled faintly and was a mangosteen.

After lunch, the two left the restaurant together.

"I'm first, Day." Alvan.

Dayna.

Alvan was about to open the door, but when his eyes met with a glance, he saw a suspicious man staring at Dayna's car.

Alvan turned his body and approached Dayna's vehicle.

And Dayna rolled down her window and asked, "What's up, Van?"

"Move to my car" replied Alvan.

"Then this car?" ask Dayna.

"Let the driver pick it up" replied Alvan again.

"What's the matter, Van?" Dayna got out of her car again and locked her up.

Clasping Dayna's hand tightly and pulling her, Alvan opened the door and said without staring as he focused on the man wearing the mask. "Let me tell you, hurry in!"

Dayna followed Alvan's orders.

Seconds, now both are in the car.

Dayna began to fear and turned back and forth to the left and back right.

The car slowly leaves the restaurant, in the street Alvan tells Dayna to make the girl shut her mouth because she did not expect.

"What does he do to watch me?" ask Dayna worried.

"Come on," replied Alvan.

"If this is the case, how will I go anywhere?"

"Go with the driver and bodyguard, you'll learn martial arts too."

"Yes, but it's been a long time since training" Dayna said.

"Training with aunty, she's one of my papa's guys who's pretty good martial arts."

Dayna smiled smirkingly.

"Why? You lazy?" ask Alvan.

Dayna nodded.

"This is for you too" said Alvan.

Dayna silence.

And sure enough, a motorbike with 2 people berboncengan stop the speed of his vehicle Alvan.

"Who are they, Van?" Dayna was getting scared.

One of them tapped on the window glass strongly.

"Stay here!" Alvan said.

Alvan opened the door rudely making the suspicious man stagger.

Without even asking, Alvan began to be attacked. He quickly dodged and retaliated against the punch that almost landed on his body.

The two men attacked Alvan simultaneously, one of them using a sharp weapon.

Dayna growled, clenching her hands she searched for items in the car to be her tool.

Finally, Dayna chose an umbrella with a long handle. Then, go out and hit one of them on the shoulder firmly.

Suddenly, the man grimaced in pain. Without, it lingered and Dayna kicked the man in the stomach as she learned it from her mother.

Although his legs hurt, but not ignored Dayna. Hit back the umbrella on the body of the outlaw man and shout, "Feel it!"

The man looked in pain.

One of the men who attacked Alvan, then ran towards the motorbike because his hands were bent backwards.

And the man that Dayna beat up got up and stood up. Dayna was still upset again hitting her umbrella on the shoulder.

In pain, the man ran to his friend.

"I won't let you live in peace!" dayna said with emotion.

Alvan approaches Dayna, "Day, already. Enough's enough!" said with a breath.

Dayna's leg began to hurt, she then held her knee.

"Why?" alvan asked his gaze towards the foot.

"It hurts, Van." Dayna.

Alvan crouched down and held Dayna's knee.

Surprised, Dayna pulled her leg. "Let's massage at home."

"Sorry, me!" Alvan then stood up.

"Make what?" ask Dayna.

"I can't protect you well" replied Alvan.

"No problem, Van. I feel guilty if I can't help you. What if they hurt you?"

Alvan then smiled, then said, "Thank you for watching me."

Dayna smiled in embarrassment.

Arriving at Darrell's residence, Dayna is swept by Alvan to enter the house.

Nayna immediately approached her daughter, "You why?"

Alvan then told me everything.

Nayna was surprised.

Dayna is laid in bed and Nayna begins to scold her daughter. "Because it's been a long time since your body's stiff."

"Yes, Ma."

"Then I say goodbye, Bi." Alvan.

"Yes, Van. Thank you" said Nayna.

Alvan nodded.

Alvan also said to Dayna, "Be quick, Day."

"Yes, Van. Be careful" Dayna said.

Alvan was mangosteen and smiling.
