Chapter 40 - Giving Dennis a Surprise

Two months have passed...

Dennis never stopped sending messages to his girlfriend, because since yesterday the girl's phone was off.

Dennis tried to contact Hana's bodyguards and servants but there was no answer.

The worry and anxiety got higher when Harsya said the same thing.

Dennis decides to leave home early from the office to Darrell.

"Where are you going?" dayna asked as she passed in the hallway.

Dennis, who had been carrying a briefcase, replied, "Sister today is not well."

"Do I want to go to the doctor?" Dayna offered herself.

"No, you're not very good at driving yet" Dennis refused.

"Wear the driver, brother."

"No need, Day. Thank you, brother first!" dennis's pamphlet then passed.

"Huft, he went back home with her" Dayna said.

And sure enough, this afternoon Dayna went home with Alvan.

"Hi, we meet again!" greet the young man with a height of 178 cm.

Dayna smiled cynically.

Alvan opens the car door for his girlfriend.

In the vehicle, Alvan asked, "Have you expressed feelings to the man?"

"Why do you want to know my business?" Dayna put on an annoyed face.

"Let me back off if he accepts you, indeed" replied Alvan.

A month ago, Dayna met the man she was expecting. His hope ran aground when he saw her holding the hand of another woman.

Instantly his initially cheerful face, then pouted. How not? Since the first time he has fallen for the man who became Hana's friend.

Their first meeting was during Hanan's return and graduation.

"I haven't told him my feelings and I think it's better for the man who did it first" Dayna said.

"I've already expressed my feelings to you, but why isn't it accepted?"

"I don't love you" replied Dayna.

"You will regret for refusing my love."

"Oh, really?" ask Dayna cynically.

"We'll prove it later" replied Alvan.

Dennis arrives at the house to change his clothes and calls Hana back. The phone is active but there is no answer.

Even the message from Harsya appears, if he is expected to come later tonight to the house.

Dennis did not reject the invitation of his future father-in-law who invited him to dinner.

The hour hand showed 6 o'clock past 30 minutes, Dennis rushing to his Harsya home.

Upon arrival, a large tent is installed decorated with live and fresh flowers. Looks like some fancy cars have been parked in the yard.

Dennis asked the guards guarding the gate. "What event is it?"

"No idea, sir."

Dennis knitted his brows.

"Mr Dennis can ask Mr. Harsya directly, because we have no authority."

Dennis smiled and agreed.

Dennis steps into the house, but Astrid and Intan come pulling his hand away from the main door.

"Auntie, what's going on? Why pull me?" tanyakanya.

"Don't ask much, Nis. Just come with us!" replied Intan who pushed Dennis into the room.

A female and male servant offered a suit and shoes.

"What's this for?" tanyakanya.

"The Great Lord wants you to wear it" replied the maid.

"We'll put on makeup too." Said a man known to be MUA.

"I'm just here for dinner" Dennis said.

"We're just doing the Great Lord's orders, sir." Obviously the other lady's maid.

"Well, I'll change my clothes."

Not until 30 minutes, Dennis has been neat and looks dashing.

"Actually what Uncle Harsya planned," Inner Dennis.

A bodyguard asks Dennis to go to the pool behind the house.

Seemed real mother and father who stood up to throw a smile. Dennis approached both. "Mom, Dad, you've been invited by Uncle Harsya too?"

"Yes, son." Answer Felix.

"I don't understand, why are there so many people here?" ask Dennis.

"We were just told to come here, there's something important to talk about" Felix said.

A woman wearing a long shirt with matching trousers approached Dennis and asked him to go on stage.

Dennis was more confused especially his mother told him to follow the orders of the woman.

Dennis steps onto the stage along with his parents Hana.

"Uncle....."

Anaya gave a signal with the index finger on the lips.

Dennis was silent.

A man and woman in their 30s opened their voices through the microphone, both greeting the invited guests with smiles.

The man said that tonight was going to happen something that Dennis couldn't forget for life.

Dennis who was still confused, scrunched his forehead.

"Mr Dennis, don't you realize tonight's gonna be a special day?" ask the female host.

Dennis nodded in response making the guests laugh.

"Do you want to get married?" ask again.

Dennis assented.

"Tonight Mr. Dennis will be getting married soon" the male host said.

"Auntie, I don't want to get married other than Hana" whispered Dennis.

Anaya looked and smiled.

"Mr Dennis, are you ready to get married?" ask the female host.

Dennis did not answer.

"It seems Mr. Dennis is still confused and wondering" said the woman again.

"From time on let's call Miss Hana Larasati Abraham!" the male host said loudly.

Hana walked in such a beautiful and luxurious dress while smiling.

Dennis was wondering what he was seeing.

Hana from yesterday is difficult to contact now in front of her looks so beautiful and graceful.

The two stood facing each other and threw a smile.

Felix and Jenny are standing next to Dennis.

"Tonight as a representative of the extended family, I'm going to propose to Hana for you" Felix said.

Dennis didn't expect tonight to be a surprise for him.

"I don't want to be proposed, Uncle." Hana says.

"Then you want what?" ask Jenny gently.

"Want to get married tonight, too," Hana replied glancing at her lover.

"You want to marry Hana, Nis?" ask Jenny to her son.

"Yes, Mom."

The guests applauded hearing that.

"Well, then you get married tonight, too" Harsya said.

Both her parents Hana and Dennis smiled as did the bride-to-be.

Hana sits flanked by Jenny and Anaya away from Dennis and Harsya's desk.

The two men sat facing each other, right left they had Darrell and Alvan as wedding witnesses next to Harsya a ruler.

The sacred promise of the wedding was pronounced Dennis out loud and clear before the family guests.

All cried when they read the prayers after the wedding. Hana stands up and is picked up by Dennis.

His hands were held tightly together and the two sat next to each other.

Dennis pinned the ring on his wife's fingers and tonight the two officially became husband and wife.

Family and relatives who live around the house Harsya also present congratulate the two brides.

"Why didn't you tell me about tonight's plans?" whisper Dennis.

"We want to surprise you, baby." Hana smiled sweetly.

"Then, tonight I can take my right, too" Dennis teased

Hana's cheeks instantly blushed.
