Chapter 46 - S2 - Dayna Glad to Be Mouched

After breakfast the next morning, Darrell finally invites his daughter to talk and tell him why.

Dayna sat down near her mother.

"Why did your mother forbid Rafael to be close to you? Because Papa told him to," Darrell said.

Dayna still looked at the father's explanation.

"Papa wishes you were married in a year or two to Alvan. But, you rejected it," Darrell continued.

"Because I don't like it, Pa." Dayna.

"Yes, Papa knows and Alvan will also accept matchmaking with another girl" Darrell said.

"I'm glad to hear that, at least Papa will stop setting me up with him" Dayna said.

"About Rafael, Papa doesn't like him" Darrell said.

"We're the ones running the relationship, Pa."

"But, Papa is sure that Rafael is not best for you, Day." Said Darrell again.

"Papa spoke so because he wanted to match me with Alvan" Dayna said.

"The old man's feelings are more sensitive, son." Nayna Sahut.

Dayna looked at her mother.

"Mama also believes the same as your Papa, it's better to stay away from him" said Nayna.

"I love him so much, Ma."

"Honey, said Hana she already has a lover," said Nayna.

"It's not true, Rafael himself if there is no bond at all with anyone including lovers" Dayna said.

"So, you think Hana's lying?" ask Darrell.

"It's not so, Pa."

"Hana and Rafael were close friends, even the man wanted to propose to her but he chose Dennis" Nayna said.

"Because Kak Hana likes Kak Dennis," Dayna said.

"Rafael likes Hana, so you're just his escape" Nayna said.

Dayna laughed a little.

"He shouldn't have been looking for a woman with whom his brother was related, Papa suspected that Rafael had malicious intentions" Darrell said.

"Why is Papa thinking so negatively?" dayna wanted to cry.

"Papa you're just guessing" replied Nayna.

"But Papa has accused Rafael" Dayna said.

"Well, if you don't listen to our words. Please continue your relationship with him" Darrell said.

Dayna leaves for the office, picked up by Rafael. Along the way, the girl was silent.

"Is there a problem?" ask Rafael.

"No, Brother."

"If there's anything you want to tell me, I'm ready to hear it" Rafael said.

"Hmm, does Brother Rafael still like Brother Hana?" ask Dayna.

Rafael just smiled.

"Sister.."

"Why are you asking that?"

"Who knows if Brother approaches me because he still likes Kak Hana" Dayna replied.

"I am close to you because you are different" Rafael said.

"Surely Brother Rafael has no lover?"

"Yes, Day."

"That woman?"

"What did you ever ask that about?"

"Yes, Brother."

"We had a relationship for only two months, after which it broke up."

"Don't Rafael really like me?"

"Yes." Yeah." Reply Rafael.

A smile suddenly rose on Dayna's lips.

"I want us to be lovers. Do you want to?"

Dayna quickly nodded.

"From now on, we're dating" Rafael said.

"Yes, Brother."

Arriving at Dayna's office came out of a cross paths with Alvan who stopped the speed of his vehicle right behind.

Alvan went down without greeting Dayna and passed her by.

Dayna looked astonished at Alvan's attitude.

Rafael's car has passed, turning his body over Dayna hastened after Alvan's steps.

"Wait, Van!"

Alvan stopped and looked.

Dayna threw her smile.

"What's wrong?" asked Alvan coldly.

"Yes," replied Alvan throwing his face away.

"I'm happy to hear it, so we can be friends as usual without any serious ties" Dayna said.

"In two months we will meet and then continue with the wedding" Alvan said.

"You haven't met the man but you're willing to marry him" Dayna said.

"What is the choice of parents, I will follow it," said Alvan then continued to step.

Alvan enters Randy's room, which happens to be one building with Darrell's company.

Dayna entered her room and began her activities shortly after.

Dayna deliberately stood in the hallway of Uncle Randy's room.

Not long after, Alvan came out alone. Dayna smiled happily.

Alvan only briefly saw it and then stepped into the elevator followed by Dayna.

"How about we have lunch together?" Dayna opened the conversation.

"Aren't we always having lunch with others" replied Alvan.

"Yes, anyway. But lately you rarely get together with us" Dayna said.

"I was busy, but the night sometimes met with Hanan and others even though it was just a coffee," explained Alvan without looking at the girl beside him.

"Why not take me?" ask Dayna.

The elevator door opened, Alvan chose not to answer and stepped towards the main door of the building.

Dayna can't follow Alvan anymore because it's still working hours.

In the afternoon, Dayna was picked up by Rafael. The two did not go home immediately, but headed to a cafe to fill their stomachs and chat.

"Day, my company is eager to cooperate with your company. Can you arrange it" said Rafael.

"The problem was asking my papa" Dayna said.

"Can't you help me?" ask Rafael.

"How, huh?"

"If our company cooperates with each other, surely your father will approve of this relationship" Rafael said.

"I'm going to talk about this with papa" Dayna promised.

"Thank you, Day!" Rafael smiled happily.

"Yes, you're welcome." Dayna gave a smile back.

Later that night, while at Dayna's house, Rafael's request is relayed to Darrell.

"Lad..."

"Yes, Day."

"Does Papa need some furniture to fill in Uncle Harsya's property?"

"Our company is already cooperating with Alvan's company."

"Why don't you want to use Rafael's products?" ask Dayna.

"No, Son. Papa has signed" Darrell replied.

"Pa, just cancel the cooperation" Dayna said.

"You think our company's messing around?" Darrell doesn't seem to like it.

"Papa chose the company of Alvan because he liked it while Rafael...."

"Day, enough. Please tell the difference between work and love" Darrell said.

"Give Rafael the company a chance, Pa."

"It's over, Day. It can't be undone, for sure Alvan will be disappointed" Darrell said.

Dayna, who continued to be urged by Rafael to get cooperation, was finally forced to invite Alvan to meet.

The two met at a cafe, of course by pleading if not Alvan was reluctant to meet him.

"Why insist on meeting, what's wrong?" ask Alvan.

"Is your company cooperating with Papa and Uncle Harsya's companies?" Dayna asked back.

"Can you cancel it?"

Instantly Alvan's forehead wrinkled.

"Van, could you not give the opportunity to Kak Rafael's company?"

"No!" alvan answered confidently.

"Van, just this once. I beg you," pinta Dayna.

"No way!" Alvan emphasized his words.

"Van, Rafael's company is going bankrupt. There are hundreds of employees who have to be paid" Dayna said.

"Do you think I don't have any employees either?"

Dayna remained silent.

"You've been meeting with me all night just to talk about this?"

Dayna did not answer.

Alvan then got up and stood up. "I'm going home, see you!"

Dayna grunted in annoyance.
