Many times Salwa contacted Abra. However, not once did the man lift him up. Even the last one, the girl could not reach him. He believes his number has been blocked because when Salwa used the landline, it could still be connected.
The girl decided to go to the office. He wanted to know what made Abra stay away from him. Salwa is not willing if the man just let go. In Abra, the girl gets comfort. He was sure that the man could make him happy.
"Excuse me, Ma'am. Mr Ibra is?" salwa asked the receptionist.
"Mom Salwa! Wait a minute, I confirm first," said the receptionist who immediately contacted Abra's secretary by telephone. Salwa had come before so, people in the office knew who she was. "Sorry, Mom. Mr. Ibra is having a meeting. He also has a lot of work so can't be bothered."
Salwa had expected this before, but she had already arrived at this company. There was no way the girl would come home empty-handed. Salwa took a deep breath and tried to be patient. If Abra is stubborn, then he can too.
"Tell your boss if I'll wait for him here."
"But, Bu—"
"That's it, it's okay. I also don't have a job so just relax." Salwa looked for a seat to wait for Abra to come down.
The receptionist sent a message to Sisca and said Salwa was still waiting in the lobby. However, there was no reply from the woman.
Salwa waited long enough. However, there was no sign that Abra was going down. He doesn't lose his mind, Salwa picks up the phone and tries to contact Handi. Only his future father-in-law can help him now. The first call was immediately picked up.
"Assalamualaikum, Pa," said Salwa.
"Waalaikumsalam, yes, what's up, Salwa?" ask Handi who is across the phone.
"Is Mas Ibra so busy that she ignores me? Does she already have another woman, Pa?" salwa asked pretending to be sad.
"What do you mean? Ibra cannot betray you! You know exactly how Ibra loves you so much."
"But this morning I tried to call him, but my number was blocked. I am currently in the company. I came to see him and asked him what was my fault, but he wouldn't see me. If he already has another woman, I'm sincere! I'll let go" Salwa said in an increasingly contrived sad tone. She also pretended as much as she wanted to attract the sympathy of her future in-laws.
"What?" ask Sandy was surprised.
The man clenched his hand. Abra may even make Salwa sad. He wouldn't stay silent if the girl really left Ibra. Handi did ask his eldest son to keep his distance from the girl, but that did not mean to make Salwa stay away from Ibra.
"You just wait there. Papa's gonna talk to Ibra."
"Don't be mad at him, Pa. I understand how she feels. I don't want to force it. If he doesn't want to be with me, it's okay."
"You don't think like that. You just calm down. You know that Papa can't be mad at her.
"Yes, Pa, I'll wait here."
"Alright, Papa wants to see Ibra first." Handi disconnects the phone and searches for Abra's whereabouts.
"I'm sorry. I have to do this because this is the only way I can meet you" Salwa said as she stared at her phone.
"Why did you let Salwa wait downstairs?" ask Sandy while standing up. There was not the slightest intention to sit in the front seat of Abra
"Aren't you the one who asked me to stay away from him? Right now I'm doing it" Abra replied without taking her eyes off the file in front of her.
"I did ask you to stay away from Salwa as Abra, not as Ibra. Better get to Salwa. I don't want him to think about Ibra and leave her. Ibra is too good to be hurt."
"You don't know just how jerky your favorite child is out there" Abra said in his heart because he wanted his father to see for himself how great the child he had been proud of
"Didn't I do it yesterday because of Ibra? Your thoughts alone were too far away and now you are asking me to meet Salwa! I don't want to do it because when I'm with him, he must think of me as Ibra and do things like he did yesterday. He's forcing me to do things I don't like."
"Whatever you say, what matters is that now you go down and meet him. Don't let Salwa leave Ibra because of you."
Abraham rubbed his face violently. It was always his father like this, forcing every will on his eldest son. Abra is tired of being someone else. He wants to be himself.
"Pa, can't Papa see from my point of view? I also want to be myself" Abra said in a low voice. He just wanted his dad to understand him. However, it seems like it was in vain. Handi did not want to know how Abra felt and still forced his will.
"You will be yourself when Ibra is healed. Isn't that what you want?"
"That's a promise from Papa. I'll remember it. If Ibra wakes up from her sleep, then I am free from this family and have no relationship anymore."
Abraham immediately got up from his seat and left his room without looking at his father. At this time his goal was to meet with Salwa. I don't know what the girl wanted. Actually Abra is very lazy.
Surely his brother's fiancee will act arbitrarily to him later. All Salwa requests must be obeyed. She was indeed a very spoiled woman, Abra thought. However, the corner of his heart said that he was happy to be at Salwa's side.
It did not feel like the elevator had reached the ground floor. He looked around looking for Salwa's whereabouts, apparently the girl smiled as she walked towards him. Inevitably, Abra approached him.
"Hello, honey, how are you?" greet Salwa.
"What do you want? Didn't I tell you everything about me so, why are you still looking for me?" abra asked without answering Salwa's question.
"Finding your own fiancee, doesn't matter? Whoever you are, as long as you are still here, you are my fiancee so, I can still meet you."
"Whatever you say. Now we've met so you can go home."
"When I met my fiancee. I want to accompany you in the study, I can also help you." Salwa tried to persuade Abra. However, it doesn't seem to work.
"I'm doing a lot of work and don't want to mess around!"
