Loving My Brother's Fiancee

Loving My Brother's Fiancee
37. Returnees

"Sir, Mr. Luke and his brother have arrived. I took her to the next apartment, as you ordered," said Roni, who had just arrived. It was the man who picked up Luke and his sister at Abra's request. He didn't want anyone else to recognize him if he picked up Luke and his brother.

"Later I'll meet them. Let them rest first. You can also rest. Thanks for picking them up."

"Together, Sir. Excuse me."

Abra leaned her body on the sofa. He does not expect to ask Luke for help and returns to his former job. Before that, the man had let go of everything. Abra was also very confident that he would never come back again.

Suddenly his past memories returned, when he first set foot overseas. There was not a single person that the man knew there. His life is hanging in the streets. Eat whatever is there and do whatever work makes you money.

Abra also never ate for three days and only drank water from the tap. For him, he was very reluctant to ask. He could have asked the people on the street. They will certainly also want to give, but the man does not want to do that because he feels he is still able to do the job.

Eventually, Abra helps a man covered in blood. He took her to a nearby clinic. The place is very simple with minimal equipment. The doctor suggested taking the man to the hospital. However, the man refused by reason of having no money. He asked the doctor to cover the wound with a makeshift device.

At first the doctor refused, but the man insisted. He promised to go to the hospital later. Let the doctor close the wound for a while. Finally, the doctor had to do the man's request.

"What's your name?" ask the man when the wound has been treated by a doctor.

"My name is Abraham, sir."

"Did my name Erik. Thank you for helping me. Where's your house?"

"I don't have a home, sir. Every day I sleep wherever I stop." Abra replied firmly without any fear let alone feeling sad for her life.

Erik looked at Abra intently. He felt that there was something within this young man that caught his attention. Suddenly the man thought of something.

"Do you want to come with me?" tawar Erick's.

"Where are you going, sir?"

"To my place. There you can do the job and get a salary. You can use it for your purposes."

"What job, sir. I want to, as long as I can get the money. I don't want to beg on the streets because I can still work."

"good. You can work with me on a note, you can't leave that workplace unless I'm dead."

Abra stared intently at Erik. He had doubts. But he has no other choice. Especially after hearing such a tempting offer from the man. Abra just wants it.

That's what brought him to the mafia. All the work is done there from good and bad. Even to the point of taking the lives of others. From the money he made, Abra built his business to the development until now.

When Mr. Erik died, Abraham decided to leave the world he was in. Although he was not a good person, but in his heart the man no longer wanted to commit crimes. Especially to kill the lives of others. Today, however, Abra is forced to return because her loved ones are in danger. All this he did for Salwa and his future son.

After an hour of self-soothing, Abra decides to come to the apartment where Luke and his sister rest. Without knocking on the door, the man entered the apartment. Luke is sitting at the dinner table, while his brother cooks in the kitchen.

"I'm no longer your boss. Just call me my name" said Abra without seeing Luke.

"For ever you remain my superior. No matter how much you refuse that status, but to us you are still our boss."

Abraham exhaled slowly. He looked at Luke and his brother in turn. The man tried to steady his heart. "I want to ask you for help."

"Whatever you need we are ready to help. As I said before. I just want you to get back to leading our group. After that you are free to order us."

"If it can help you, I'll take it" Abra replied, making Luke smile.

"So what do you want?"

"My love was kidnapped by someone. To date, I cannot trace his whereabouts. Even Roni has trouble. I believe your sister can do this."

Luke was surprised to hear it. It turns out that Abra changed because of a woman. Things he never thought of. At first the man thought his boss was willing to join because there was a business rival who was looking for trouble. However, who would have thought if all this was because of her lover.

Luke became curious, who was the woman who had conquered the heart of Abraham, to make the man lower his ego, which had been very high to leave the black world. It must have been a very special woman, considering all this time, Abra had never acknowledged a woman close to him as a lover.

Leo—adik Lukas—pun interested. She immediately turned off the stove and sat down beside her brother. The man wanted to know what task would be given to him. Until the expert Roni was also unable to do so.

"What can I do, boss?" ask Leo.

Abram puts down the laptop he brought in front of Leo. "Roni has already gathered some evidence. You just need to track his current whereabouts. The file's name is Salwa."

Leo rushed to open the laptop screen. He observed several CCTV videos that were hacked by Rio. Several times the man scrunched his forehead making Abra worried if Leo was also unable to break through their defenses.

"It looks like it's going to be exhausting. Wait a minute, I want to eat first," said Leo who immediately moved back to the cooking on the stove.

He made spaghetti and it was ripe. Just stay eaten. Fortunately, the man made a lot of it, just put it on three plates and gave it to his brother and boss. Leo does not want to work hungry.

"We eat first, after that we work," said Leo as he put down three dishes and started eating.

Abra and Luke followed them. Both of them know very well if Leo does not like if the food he makes is wasted in vain. They once lived a long time ago. Eating from leftovers is therefore for them food is something valuable. After enjoying the food, Leo immediately took the laptop that Abra had given him. He was very serious about handling the case this time because this was not the case of ordinary people.
