“It's night, you better sleep,” Maysa scolded.
“Iya,” replied Abra who then closed the book and turned off her phone. The man still remained silent in his wheelchair, upsetting Salwa.
“Why stay still? Sleep!”
Salwa realizes that Abra must have trouble getting into bed. He hit his own forehead for forgetting about it. The woman got out of bed and approached her husband.
“Come, I help you get on the bed!”
“I can sleep there?”
“Of course you can. Where do you want to sleep? Anyway we're still husband and wife.”
Salwa pushed Abra's wheelchair and helped her up the bed. Despite the difficulties, the woman kept trying and finally succeeded. Adjacent to the wife makes the man's heart beat faster. Salwa sleeps on the other side. In one bed back with Abra, it also makes the woman feel very nervous.
****
“Astaghfirullah!”
Salwa was surprised because she woke up late, she missed the dawn prayer. Next to him was empty. This is because last night the woman was hard to sleep. Being in one bed with Abra made him uneasy.
Salwa faintly heard the voice of people talking, and the woman looked for her. It was from the garden beside the house. There is Abra who is learning to walk with Roni. Salwa peeked out from behind the window of her room on the second floor.
Several times Abra fell, but the man did not give up. He kept trying to get walking as soon as possible. Salwa could see the husband's hard work.
“Bos, for now learning is enough. You have to rest,” said Roni. He could see if Abra this time was hard enough in trying. Even seem pushy.
“I can't rest at a time like this. How can I reach Salwa if I'm like this? I want to be her protector, not the other way around. I'm tired of sitting in this chair. This leg is indeed unlucky*n.”
Abra beat his leg several times. Roni tried to ban him, but his boss did not care and continued to beat him up. Even the man pushed his assistant away. Until a hug stops the action who else if not Salwa.
The woman was saddened by what her husband was doing. He could see the frustration felt by Abra. Salwa felt guilty for being angry at the man. He should have understood how Abraham's psyche was when he found out he couldn't walk.
“Don't hurt yourself. It's the same as you hurting me" Salwa whispered as she hugged her husband.
“I'm useless, totally useless. You deserve to be happy, I can't do anything,” Abra murmured.
“No, my happiness is only with you. Nothing could make me happy except your presence by my side. Sorry, I said something that hurt you. I just want you to be able to feel how I've been feeling all along. Who always expected your presence, but you avoided me. Forgive Me.”
“No, you are not wrong. I should have come to see you under any circumstances, but I hid and became a coward. I'm sorry.”
“Ppromise that you will try and never give up, but that does not mean you keep trying without knowing the time.”
“Mistress, Boss Abra should also join the list of therapy in the hospital. During this time the doctor had suggested, but Boss Abra instead refused it,” interrupted Roni who had noticed his two superiors.
“You never went to therapy, Mas?” salwa asked with her eyes fixed on her husband.
Abra glanced at Roni sharply. All because of his assistant. The man was just silent, without feeling the slightest fear because he thought what was said was only for the good of his boss.
“Roni, please find the best hospital to register therapy,” said Salwa who did not want to be denied.
“Good, Mistress.”
“Honey, it's not necessary," interrupted Abra.
“Just from today you should obey me. No buts and must not argue.” Abraham said nothing more and could only nod.
From that day on, every two days Abra would go to the hospital for therapy. Salwa always accompanied her husband. However, the woman just sat down, it was because of Abra's request. The man did not want his wife to be tired. During the therapy, Abra was assisted by a doctor as well as a nurse. Roni also took part around her boss. After undergoing therapy, Salwa an invite Abraham to a place that he had previously visited when feeling sad.
“Why did you bring me here?” abraham asked as he looked around. There is only a rice field area.
“Usually if I am sad always come here, to spill all my sorrows. Now I just hope that there is no more sadness in our family. Whatever happens, we will face it together. Never run when we have a problem. We have to finish it together.”
“Iya, Darling. I'm sorry I hurt you. From today on, I promise to always accompany you under any circumstances. Especially now that there are angels that we have to take care of" said Abra while rubbing his distended wife's stomach.
“Thank you, Mas. We can definitely get through all of this together and one more. I want you to tell me what happened to you so you can get here.”
At first Abra did not want to tell it, but at Salwa's insistence, the man began to tell him what happened to him and Luke when attacking the enemy. The woman shed tears when she heard the struggle of her husband. So great was Abra's struggle to survive, but he even hurt the man's heart.
“You take it easy, I'm already free of that group. I will no longer be tied to them. As I said yesterday" Abra said with a smile.
“I'm glad to hear it because I also want a quiet life with you. Especially if there is our child. I don't want him to know what his father did, to risk his life.”
“You rest easy, it won't happen.”
Both of them shed their feelings for each other in this place. The feeling that is in their heart, the feeling of love and affection that they will never share with others. They just want happiness in the home. A simple home and rich in love.
"Do you already have a name for our son?" salwa asked, looking at the husband's face.
The views of the two meet. Not an answer that the woman can, but the overflow of longing that Abra has been resistant to.
