Loving My Brother's Fiancee

Loving My Brother's Fiancee
48. Enemies

"Hows it? Are there any recent developments?" abra asked as he entered his apartment.

"There is no one at the moment. Our men are still tracing the forest. It seems like they are not just anyone," replied Roni who was still busy with her laptop.

"Do you know which group they belong to? In this country there are only two groups, led by Alex and Tom. Could it be one of them?"

"If Alex, it seems impossible, boss, because he wouldn't dare touch you after what we did to him earlier. If it's Tom, it could be."

"You must not underestimate the enemy. It could have been Alex's revenge and now made an even stronger group to fight us. Everything is still gray. Anyone can be the culprit, even if he's the weakest guy."

Roni fell silent, he did not think up to that direction. "You're right, Boss. I'll find out more details."

"It's good that way" said Abra. "Has Luke not come here yet?"

"No, Boss. Maybe in a minute."

Abra nodded and chose to enter his study. There are a few things to take care of there regarding his company. Not long after the bell rang. Roni opens the door, and Luke and Leo are at the door.

"Have the boss come?" ask Lukas.

"It was, but now it's in his study. He was waiting for you, too" replied Roni.

"We'll just wait here, maybe the boss still has a job." Leo simply complied without saying anything.

The three sat in the living room and were busy with their respective cell phones.

"You guys have come? How, are there any developments regarding our enemies that exist abroad?" ask Abra who just came out of her study. He also sat on the living room couch.

"Yes, Boss. They have a smooth movement around the base. Looks like they're stalking us. You may want to know what we're doing" Luke replied.

"Well, it turns out our enemy is very brave this time. We have to be careful, it seems like they have more power because they have dared to enter our territory."

"Yes, Boss. I hacked the CCTV in their base. They do their training hard non-stop. There were even some youths who were forced into their group. If they don't want to do the exercises, they will be whipped and not even reluctant to their families who are victims" Leo said.

"It's very barbaric for them, to use cunning means to strengthen their group."

"True and what made me angry the most was that they were playing with the younger sisters of the young men. I'd love to cut off the hands of those who have done such a heinous thing." Leo kicked the table with his fist. He was really furious at what their enemies were doing.

Abra's hands were also clenched. Although he did not know who the girl Leo meant, but as a man, Abra was embarrassed by what they did. He remembered his wife who had also been almost harassed by others.

If they want to, why not just get married? It won't hurt anyone either. They were free to do anything to his wife, without having to hurt an innocent girl. It is already when talking about the person who has blinded the eyes of his heart.

"What have you commanded your men?" ask Abra.

Luke told Abra all about his group. The man also added what had been arranged. Abra smiled at Luke's explanation. It turned out that his efforts to leave the led group had been fruitful. Luke learned a lot about being a leader. The explanation of the man was very detailed and satisfying.

"Why are you just smiling, Boss? Is there something strange about my explanation or do you not like it? If it is like that, you can change it" Lukas said, bowing his head.

"No, I'm happy with how you work. You changed a lot after becoming a leader."

"No, Boss. For us, our boss is just one you."

"We understand very well, Boss. We've also given strict security at the airport."

"Good then. I'll go first if anything happens call me right away."

"Good, Boss."

Abra leaves the apartment for her father-in-law's house. On the way, he saw a sweet martabak seller. The man also remembered that his wife liked him very much. Abra went down and bought it for Salwa. That woman must have missed coming out.

Ever since Ibra ran away, their lives have not calmed down. Especially Salwa, she continues to be haunted by worries. Perhaps because she had been a victim of kidnapping, so the woman was more afraid.

Finally, after driving for thirty minutes, Abra arrived in front of her in-laws' house. It's still noon, but Papa Anton's car is already parked in the yard. I don't know what made the man go home early. Hopefully nothing happens.

"Assalamualaikum" Abra said as soon as he entered the house.

"Waalaikumsalam," answered Salwa who had just descended the stairs. The woman approached her husband and kissed the back of his hand.

"Honey, this is me buying you sweet martabak on the road. I knew you liked it, so I bought it, " Abra said, handing over a sweet martabak box.

"Well, I happen to want to snack again. Thank you, yes, Mas," said Salwa with a sparkling face.

"Together, dear," Abra said with a smile. He was happy to see his wife like him. That means, his efforts were not in vain.

"Well, do you want to eat or take a shower?"

"You take a shower first. My body doesn't feel good."

"I'm ready for warm water, first, then!" Salwa will leave. However, it was prevented by Abra. He did not want to trouble his wife.

"No need, I take a cold shower, it's fresher."

"Then I make tea."

Abraham nodded and passed towards the bathroom. Meanwhile, Salwa heads to the kitchen to make her husband warm tea. After finishing the bath, Abra saw his wife sitting on the sofa while enjoying the sweet martabak that had been under him. At the table is also available tea that the woman prepared for the husband.

"How come the tumbens are home, honey?" ask Abra.

"No, Mas. That was the company driver who brought it here. Papa's got a job out of town."

"Tomorrow if we go, no Papa, dong?"

"No pa-pa, Mom. We'll be here again."

Abra nodded. It's true, they'll be back when Ibra is found. At that time he had to make sure himself if his brother was really punished. If not, then don't blame the man for intervening on his own.
