Loving My Brother's Fiancee

Loving My Brother's Fiancee
51. Conscious

It's been a week that Abra's been treated. However, the man did not open his eyes. Roni and Salwa always take turns to take care of him. Lukas himself is still in prison for the act of shooting Ibra yesterday. Leo tried to free his brother. He also took over leadership while in his group.

The news of Abraham's shooting had of course been blowing in the ears of the man's enemy. They began to act arbitrarily to their group. Leo was very trying to get his brother released immediately.

"Roni, is there any news from Lukas?" ask Salwa. She felt guilty that she wanted to protect her husband, but the police arrested her instead.

"Leo is trying, ma'am. Don't think about it too much. He can definitely get through all of this easily" Roni replied.

"But I still feel bad for him."

"You take it easy, and soon Luke will be free. All you need to think about is your own health and that of Boss Abra."

Salwa nodded while looking at the face of the husband who was still closing his eyes. I don't know when the guy will sleep. She already misses her husband a lot, but it looks like Abra is still at home in her sleep.

"There is one more, Mr. Handi and Mrs Syakila hope to meet with Boa Abra," continued Roni.

"Why did they come here? Didn't they care about my husband?"

"I don't know, ma'am, but my guess may be that Ibra is dead, so Abra is their only son. You know very well that their children are only girls."

"Don't let them in. Let Mas Abra himself decide whether to meet them or not" replied Salwa who was embraced by Roni.

The man immediately walked out. Roni was always waiting in the hospital. But he always waited outside. The man felt bad also had to be in one room with his superior wife, except under certain circumstances. Though Maysa does not matter at all if Roni is inside.

Now in the room only live Salwa and Abra. The woman grasped the palm of the husband who was free from the infusion needle. He kissed her a few times. Salwa is very homesick with this hand caress, which usually always rubs her hair every time she sleeps.

"Mas, when will you be aware. Don't you miss me? You sleep at home. You know, Mom, your parents said they wanted to see you, but I forbid it. I didn't know if you wanted to see them or not, so I decided to wait for your decision. Come to your senses."

Salwa spread her head on the edge of the husband's bed with her hand still holding the man's palm. Although his body always feels sore when he wakes up. However, he could not get far from Abra. The woman always wanted to be around him. Although Salwa had to sleep in an uncomfortable position, as it is today. Not long after, he finally fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, Salwa felt her sleep was very comfortable. He hasn't felt like this in a long time. The woman also opened her eyes. How surprised to find out if he sleeps in bed.

Didn't he sleep on the chair? Why are you in bed now? when he woke up, a hand hugged him tighter. Salwa was again surprised and when she saw it, it turned out to be Abra's hand. Is the husband conscious? When's? Why doesn't he know?

"Once again, go to sleep. You must still be tired" said Abra, making Salwa's tears drip.

The husband is conscious. She buried her face in the man's chest and cried out. Every night the woman always dreams if the husband is conscious. However, upon awakening Salwa was disappointed because it was just a dream.

"Why crying? You don't like it when I'm aware?" asked Abra who actually made Salwa hit the man's chest. Abra complained of pain that was definitely made up because the woman's blow was not felt at all.

"Sorry, sorry, I forgot. Are you sick? Where's that sick?"

"I'm okay, honey. It is precisely I who worry about you, but Roni said you are fine. It makes me happy. The pain I feel, will not be felt as long as you are by my side" Abra said.

"So Roni already knew that you were conscious? Why didn't you wake me?"

"Yes, he was intending to see how you are. He said you always sleep in a sitting position on a chair because of that, I asked him to move you here."

"So who's carrying me isn't you? Apparently Roni. I thought you were," Salwa said in a disappointed tone.

"I'm still sick, honey. There is no energy to carry you. If later after I recover, no matter how long you ask for a sling, I will definitely do."

"Not that, Mas, but there are others who touch me other than you," Salwa replied softly.

"You take it easy, I asked Roni to wear thick, layered gloves so as not to leave a trace on your body."

That's not what Salwa meant. This time they didn't seem to be in line. Let her not want to argue with her husband just because of a trivial matter. The man needs to rest first.

"Yes already, Mas. You rest first, you have not healed properly. Tomorrow, we'll ask the doctor about your situation. I hope everything is okay" Salwa said.

"I also hope so that I can go home soon. I can see you waiting for me. I'm also sorry for you because of my circumstances, so buy time for our return."

"It's okay, Mom. It's not all because of your fault either. The circumstances that make it all like this."

The two also talked warmly. Abra had asked his wife to sleep, but she could not close her eyes. He was too happy with the situation of the husband who had begun to realize.

"Mas, yesterday Papa Handi and Mama Syakila came, but I refused. Do you want to meet them?" ask Maysa.

"I also need to talk to them, but not now. Wait for my condition to improve" replied Abra. "Did they say something?"

"I didn't see them. I don't even know what they are like right now. Were they really sincere about visiting you or was there some other purpose."

Abra nodded. He also thought the same thing as his wife. However, right now there was a problem that the man had to solve. Once all is clear, then Abra will finish the others.
