Loving My Husband's Son

Loving My Husband's Son
About Nilam

Lila left me who was still standing confused to digest everything she said to me.

Nilam is certainly not like any other girl I've been with. I don't even know what makes it different. But in my eyes he was different. It was not just because of her beauty, her good figure, or any of those reasons. I can't say it. There was something inside him that caught my attention. There was an aura from within him that made me approach him and I couldn't let go.

I couldn't let go of her until I understood why she was able to attract my attention. Whether it is a curious feeling or there is a feeling more than that.

After the lecture was over, I asked the driver to drive me to my apartment, the only place I could call home. A place without Papa and useless people around me.

A few kilometers from my destination, I saw the figure of Nilam who seemed to enter a taxi. He just got out of a hospital probably because of his injuries I thought. But I want to convince all of those things directly. So, after he left I started doing a little investigation. Of course with money, I can get any information I want. I finally found out that Nilam was there to visit his ailing mother.

I then followed her to a patient room where she had gone. Then I saw a woman in front of the hospital room.

"Nilam you're back." Said the woman.

The woman looked quite beautiful at her age who was no longer young. I also realized that he looked similar to Nilam. This woman must be Mama Nilam. No wonder Nilam looks charming, all of it is derived from his Mama.

I was at first confused when he referred to me as Nilam. But I realized that he was blind and I wanted to talk to him but he kept going.

"You left so quickly and didn't listen to what Mama wanted to say to you." Say the woman and continue again. "By the way, Mama knows that you're worried about Mama and your sister's son. But you have to live your own life. Mama knows that you are always humiliated by your brother and his family for the purpose of getting the cost of Mama's hospital and also to be able to take care of Arka. If Mama hadn't been sick and your Papa hadn't died, none of this would have happened. Sorry that Mama can't protect you, baby." The woman said at length.

After listening to everything he said, I knew many things about Nilam that he would never tell me. I finally saw the weakest side of Nilam and I began to realize that behind the stray cat shown by Nilam, there was a lot of sadness that he endured on his shoulders.

"Priest.... Why don't you talk?" Ask the woman again.

I can't say anything right now and I don't know what to say to this woman that I'm not her daughter. So I decided to leave him.

"You're not Nilam, are you? So who are you? Is it a friend of Nilam's? Please come closer so I can feel you." Her speech.

It was like a magnetic force was controlling me. I walked over to him and let him touch my face.

"You're a handsome young man. But who are you? What's your relationship with my daughter?" Ask the woman again.

Who I am to him, I can't say anything about it. So how am I supposed to answer this question and I feel guilty for lying to this blind woman who looks so good.

"It's okay if you can't say anything right now. You seem like a good young man and I'm sure that Nilam doesn't even know you're here." Her speech.

"I was here by accident. I'm sorry, I didn't know that Nilam actually had a sick Mama here." My speech.

I don't know why, but this woman was so honest with me. Of course I didn't mean to hurt her and her daughter either. But I feel like he's being too honest with me. Wasn't she afraid that saying so much about her daughter to strangers might just cause her trouble?

"Why are you so quiet? Maybe you're thinking why am I being so honest with a stranger like you." Mama Nilam said that made me smile.

"I might be blind. But I still have sensitive feelings and I can easily tell the aura of a good person and the aura of a bad person. I can tell you that you're not actually a bad person." Her speech.

"Thank you for your trust." Reply me.

"Oh, but I don't 100% trust you." It was her words that confused me.

"But..." My speech.

"It takes a lot to win someone's trust. Trust can be won. But now you've only won my appreciation as a good person from me. I can give you my winning friendship and then we'll see later about my trust in you." Say again.

"certain." I reply to smile.

I then continued my conversation with Mama Nilam and it all felt good. I was amazed because I felt like I was in the middle of my own mother. We chatted about things until I didn't realize how quickly time passed.

After a long chat, I finally decided to go and say goodbye to Mama Nilam who turned out to be named Bu Amelia. I then went back to my apartment.

I actually do not know what status Nilam Yuniarta Widuri for me. But there's something I'm sure of, that I'll never let go of him. Not until I get my answer.

Next day...

I went to college and started looking for Nilam. But he wasn't in his class. I finally found out that she went to the toilet. Of course I can't get into a ladies' room. So I decided to wait for her at the toilet entrance. If I don't wait there, then I won't know where he's going again..

I decided to wait at the entrance. But the noise I heard from inside the toilet caught my attention. So I decided to go into the woman's toilet. I was so shocked by what I saw and my eyes seemed to turn wide with my heart that felt like it was falling into my stomach.

"Priest...." I said with fear and also with my voice that sounded trembling.

Seriate....
