“Wife?” Fatih.  Suddenly his facial expression became frustrated.

“I'm sorry, dad.  I didn't tell dad in advance about this,” continued Cazim.

“But why?  Why did you get married secretly?  This father is the parent who raised you, Cazim.  Why did you get married without my knowledge?  It's the same you don't appreciate dad.”  Fatih looked sad.  The only child he grew up with his sweat, by becoming a mother and father to Cazim, suddenly as an adult, was married secretly.

“That's why I apologized to dad first.”

Fatih looked at Chesy, then looked back at Cazim.  “Dad disappointed.”  Fatih sauntered inside with a sad face.

Cazim rubbed his face.

“Your father is angry.  I thought we were here to bring good news to your father, but it turns out not.”  Chesy looked down sad, also upset.  Upset at the situation, why is this?  his arrival in the house was intended to bring his parents Cazim to Jonah.  But if Fatih even cranky, what's the business?

“Dad just disappointed.  Let father alone first.  Later also father will understand when his heart is calm.”

“There are many things that make your father feel disappointed.  First, you don't marry the woman he hopes to be his daughter-in-law.  Second, you married in silence.  Third, the woman you marry does not match your father's expectations.  I'm coming home,” pickle Chesy.  “Toh, I wasn't expected here either.”

“Chesy, wait!  Don't be angry just yet. We talk about this with a cool head.”  Cazim pulls Chesy's arm, holding her back from leaving.

“You should have met your own father.  I don't have to come.”

Cazim sighed. She gets confused when facing a lame woman.  It turns out that facing a lame woman is more difficult than having to face street thugs.

“I think it's natural to be disappointed,” said Cazim.  “I was raised by him with great difficulty, father slamming bones and squeezing sweat to raise me alone.  My mother's been gone a long time.  And I don't want to marry again because of trauma.  Dad sent me to school and made me a cop, he expected a lot from me, but his hopes were buried.  What's more, if you know that I'm doing my job, even now that I'm not active in the police force anymore, it's bound to disappoint him even more.  I hope you can understand father's situation.”

“But your father only expects Dusk, not me,” shrewd Chesy low self.

“Fight for it. We'll do something to make dad accept you and forget about Dusk.  Father's relationship with Dusk is very close.  Dad asked me to marry Dusk, but I haven't been able to express my feelings when big trouble hits and I run away.  Maybe it's fate that me and Dusk are not a match.  And it's obvious you're my soul mate.  So we went through this together.”  Cazim's gaze shaded.

Hearing the persuasion, Chesy's heart was filled. Huh, it turns out that learning patience and sincerity is heavy.

“Dad is a good person.  But the good man cannot necessarily be hurt, sad or upset.  We talk about this later well with dad, later I will definitely understand.  You want to fight with me?” connect Cazim.

Chesy just looked down.

“I hope dad will quickly understand so we can go straight home with my dad.”

***

In the dining room that was not so spacious, there were already three people who were having dinner together.  Chesy, Cazim and Fatih.  The atmosphere seems stiff.

Everything was silent, only the sound of clanging clangs clanking plates and spoons clashing.

Every now and then Chesy glanced at Cazim, her husband focused on eating her.  So slow.  Like just hunger.

Since this afternoon, they have not eaten.  Only eat boiled sweet potatoes made by Fatih.

Chesy since the afternoon just stayed in the room, not out.  Because he could not help his father-in-law cook, he could not cook.  Making the egg omelet was burnt, how could he sit together with the in-laws to cook together?  What is there is even troublesome.

And one more thing, his relationship with the in-laws is also not good.  Where might he work in the kitchen along with the existing awkwardness.  Plus, she was pregnant young, the innate nausea smelling the aroma of onions and kitchen spices.

“Ehm!”  Chesy pretended to have a cough, her legs nudging Cazim's feet under the table.  He coded Cazim to speak.  At least talk about their problems so that the business is clear quickly.  If kept quiet, where maybe their problems will run out.

Chesy's eye bead moved towards Fatih, coding Cazim.

Looking at Chesy's moving eyes, Cazim asked, “Why?  Flippancy?”

Duh, this guy is not even perceptive.  Chesy rolled her eyes while shaking her head.

“Oh, drink?”  Cazim stared at the glass filled with mineral water in front of Fatih.  Chesy's eyes moved towards the glass, so she thought that Chesy asked for a drink.

Cazim took a drink and brought it closer to Chesy.

Soon Chesy greeted the glass as Fatih's gaze was fixed on her.  Chesy sipped a drink.

Fatih's attitude is completely different.  He was warm and full of excitement when welcoming Cazim home, but now suddenly so stiff and flat.

“Dad, I'm sorry if my presence in Mas Cazim's life has made my father angry,” said Chesy.  Hoping for Cazim to open the conversation also did not come true.

Cazim's gaze was on Chesy.

Fatih continued to eat, without looking at Chesy.

“I married Mas Cazim because of circumstances.  I mean, Mas Cazim who was present as a good man made my brother like him.  Abi wished I had a husband as good as Mas Cazim, so when the accident abi was hit by Mas Cazim and critical, he asked that I marry Cazim.  That's his request when it's critical,” Chesy continued.

Fatih finished eating. He sipped mineral water.

“By abi, me and Mas Cazim fulfill that request.  This is when we had time to face Dad.  Hope you can meet abi to berilaturahmi as besan and give our blessing,” Chesy added.

Fatih was silent.

“I realized, I'm not the son-in-law you expected.  I wish a girl like Dusk would be my son-in-law, but fate says something else.  I am now the wife of Mas Cazim,” Chesy continued.

“Dad, I brought Chesy here because I want to get blessing from dad,” Cazim added.  “Dad raised me with religious education.  Dad took religious knowledge for me.  And I understand the science of religion thanks to my father.  Even though I realize that I understand but I do not apply it, but for this time, I ask you to understand my situation, also Chesy.”

Since childhood, Cazim was raised by Fatih with a strict religious education.  Unfortunately Cazim did not apply the knowledge he got from his father.  The tantalizing life made him momentarily forget about the verses of God and become a mafia in the body of the police.

Fatih sighed.  He looked at Cazim and Chesy alternately.
