4.
Shalwa, who had been screaming hysterically, was now silent but his face looked pale, because it was as surprised as Andre because his lover's car did not want to stop driving.
"You calm down, we'll be fine." said Andre, who saw his girlfriend pale.
Andre did not stop honking his horn, until he actually arrived at the intersection of traffic lights that coincided in the path that Andre passed the lights were red, while in the other lane the car continued to go.
"Andre.....!" shalwa shouted, when he saw a box car driving from opposite.
Andre turned the wheel to avoid the box car, but unfortunately the accident he could not avoid, Andre's car hit the road barrier. Instantly the streets became congested due to that single accident.
With the rest of his consciousness, Andre moved to touch Shalwa's bloodied head.
"Ndre, if I don't survive, you'll promise me, take care of my sister, Ndre. Marry her, take care and love her as you love and love me. I love my sister, Ndre so much." in a loud voice, Shalwa said as she could. Let's just say this is a trust if he really can't be saved.
"No Shalwa, you don't talk like that. You'll be fine." Andre sheds his tears.
"His name is Nazhwa, the picture is in my desk drawer" Shalwa said, again, which made Andre shake his head.
"Nwild..." Shalwa also lost consciousness which made Andre scream hysterically until he was also unconscious.
Two months after the accident, Andre became quiet and often aloof. I don't think he has the spirit of life anymore. He had been in a coma for a month, and after realizing he was hit by the harsh reality that his lover had died before being taken to the hospital.
#FLASHBACK OFF
Andre quickly put Shalwa's picture back in his desk drawer when he heard a knock on his door, knowing it was his wife, Nazhwa.
"Mas, I'm sorry I'm late for lunch" Nazhwa said as he walked in.
Andre did not respond, he opened his laptop again and looked focused, but his stomach was very rumbling to ask for food. However, he did not want to look hungry in front of Nazhwa.
"Mas, eat first yes, I know you must be hungry."
Nazhwa placed the food box he was carrying, on the table. Then she approached her husband.
"The work can be later, right, pity the food is taken. I'm tired of masakin and nganterin to make Mas here."
"I'll never ask you to make a meal here, besides if you feel bothered already, don't have to be done!"
Andre got up from his seat, then walked towards the door.
"Mas, where are you going?"
"You're eating out." replied Andre curtly.
"But I've brought you some food, Mom."
"You eat by yourself, if you need to love someone else."
Andre opened the door of his room, but he was just a step out, he quickly went back in when he saw his mother who was walking towards his room.
"Yes, your lips ready for the food, I am very hungry." said Andre then sat down on the sofa.
"Well, didn't Mas just say I wanted to eat out?" nazhwa asked, with a mocking smile.
Without answering, Nazhwa swiftly prepared food for her husband.
Shortly thereafter Andre's door opened. Andre and Nazhwa simultaneously turned their heads towards the door that the middle-aged woman who was smiling warmly looked at the two of them.
"It's true that Mama's guess, you must be here." the middle-aged woman who was Nazhwa's mother-in-law gently rubbed the top of her hijab-wrapped daughter-in-law's head.
"So my mom called, she said she saw you in the hospital. Em, guess what, you're definitely checking the contents again, right?"
Nazhwa was stunned while Andre who heard that instantly spouted out the food that had just entered his mouth.
Uhuk... Uhuk... Uhuk...
Nazhwa, who had been stunned, immediately diverted to Andre and quickly gave the husband drinking water.
"Be careful dong, Ndre ate it. Don't let you die in sprains, pity my son you haven't had time to be born but his father has died first." said Andre's mother with origin.
"What the hell is that talking about?" annoyed Andre.
"Udah mengingan you shut up and quickly finish your food, Mama want to talk important with Mama's daughter-in-law" said the middle-aged woman then pulled Nazhwa's hand away from Andre.
And now two different women of that generation are sitting next to each other in Andre's workspace.
"Nazhwa, you really went to the hospital, why? What Mama said just now, right, you...
Nazhwa shook his head which made his mother-in-law waste her breath. A little disappointed that his guess was wrong. But he also could not hope more because after all the marriage of his son-in-law was just entering the first month.
" I was just a friend again, Ma." said Nazhwa, in his heart he felt guilty for lying to his mother-in-law.
"Oh that, Mama kirain." The middle-aged woman's snort.
'Sorry Nazhwa, Ma, for lying to Mama. I also really want it but how can Mama's own son until now has never touched me.' said Nazhwa in his heart.
"Yes it's okay, so Mama said back home first. You're just here waiting for your husband, you go home together."
Nazhwa nodded, then he drove his mother-in-law to the front door of the room. Nazhwa continued to stare at her mother-in-law's steps, which were further away until she felt a pat on her shoulder startle her.
"Well, what were you talking about?" asked Andre who suddenly stood beside Nazhwa.
"A common question that is always questioned by parents when their children are married." Nazhwa answered and passed Andre into the room.
Andre frowned, he did not understand what Nazhwa meant. He followed his wife who was now sitting on a sofa while kneading her temple somehow his head suddenly felt throbbing.
"What do you mean?" Ask Andre again who is now sitting opposite his wife.
Nazhwa sighed while confirming his sitting position. "Well, I'm pregnant" replied Nazhwa, who made Andre instantly die of lice.
Well why didn't he think about it in the first place. He himself decided to marry Nazhwa for the sake of fulfilling his mandate but he never touched his wife. And see now that the questionable question on a newly married couple has finally been thrown from their own mother.
"Oh, that. Keep answering what? You're not talking about anything like Mama?" Ask again to make sure.
"I still have the good sense not to spread the disgrace of my own household even if it was to your own mother, Mas."
