"How are you guys, son?" asked the middle-aged man who was Nazhwa's father, Mr. Hendra. "Dad is very happy you finally came to visit here, and I hope your arrival brings good news." he continued, staring at Nazhwa and Andre alternately.
Andre responds by smiling, while Nazhwa smiles broadly, which makes his father and mother hope that the arrival of his son and daughter-in-law brings good news.
"How are you and Mom?" asked Andre to switch the conversation so that his father-in-law did not continue the question.
"Thank God, our good news is good, son." replied Ms. Dina, Nazhwa's mother.
Nazhwa knew Andre was starting to feel uncomfortable because of his father's question, so he did not want to disappoint his parents as he let his mother-in-law down a few days ago, by giving the same answer.
Nazhwa also said goodbye to father and mother to go to the room of the brother who had returned to the divine lap. Andre also followed Nazhwa to his brother's room.
Nazhwa shed tears when he was in his sister's room. The room looked clean even though it had been empty for a long time, and she knew it was her mother who always cleaned it.
Nazhwa stepped towards the nightstand which contained a small frame, he wiped his tears and carved a smile on his face despite seeming forced. In the face of the frame there are photons yes with the brother, with teary eyes. Nazhwa could not hold back his tears, the clear liquid again escaped just like that.
"I miss you so much, brother." He sobbed, he hugged the small frame tightly as if he was hugging his brother.
"Don't cry, pray your brother's quiet in nature." Andre rubbed his wife's trembling back. Really he also wanted to cry, he also missed his late girlfriend. However, he could not show his sorrow to Nazhwa.
"Do you know, Mom? Brother Shalwa is not only my brother, but he is also my best friend and teacher. It's only Brother Shalwa where I share stories, he also always taught me a lot." Nazhwa.
Andre sat down beside his wife, he took the frame from inside Nazhwa's arms, he looked at her for a while then returned it to the nightstand.
Andre wiped Nazhwa's tears and pulled his wife's body into his arms. "I know what it's like to lose, but you can't keep on protracted like this. My brother wouldn't like to see you cry like this." He said as he rubbed his wife's back.
This was the first time Andre was that close to Nazhwa, but every day he would not hug like this, sleep there was a bolster that became a barrier between them. However, for some reason this time he was completely powerless to see Nazhwa crying like that, probably because they were both lamenting the same person.
"Mas, can I ask you something?" Nazhwa broke his embrace, he looked at Andre fixedly.
"What, what are you asking for?" Andre asked quietly, and this was also the first time he spoke softly to his wife who was usually always sniffy.
"Touch me, Mom, and we give our parents what they want. I promise after that I'll never ask or demand anything from you again." Nazhwa said earnestly, he looked at Andre expectantly.
Andre turned his gaze away from Nazhwa, this request of his wife is a commonplace in the husband's relationship and should also be without Nazhwa asking him if he should do that. However, really he did not until the heart fucked the woman he did not love.
"But why, Mas, try to tell me why Mas won't touch me." Nazhwa cupped Andre's face to face him.
"Don't do this, Nazhwa. Don't force me to do it, and it will hurt you.
"I've been hurt by your attitude for a month, Mas. So I beg you to do it for our parents, they really want our grandchildren. Don't mind me or my feelings."
"That's impossible for me to do, Nazhwa. I've been a jerk for a month. I don't want to be the bastard who fucked you and left you. Well, I've been determined to divorce you after our marriage has been six months."
Nazhwa was flabbergasted, slowly pulling his hands from Andre's face, "What are you saying, Mas?" Lirih.
"After six months I will free you from this marriage, Nazhwa. I'm sorry I couldn't be a good husband to you." In his heart Andre cursed himself because again he threw the painful sentence at Nazhwa.
Nazhwa's tears shed again, but he quickly wiped them away. Free to cry, her husband will not pity her one bit."Go home, Mas. I want to stay here tonight." He said and then moved.
Andre came to his feet, he quickly pulled out the hand of Nazhwa who was about to leave. "You should come home with me, if you want to stay here I'll stay here too." Her speech.
"For what, Mom? To show Father and Mother if we are a harmonious Husband and Wife couple? No, Mas. Go home, I'll tell Dad and Mom if I want to stay here while Mas can't because there's an important job that can't be left." Nazhwa said, then took off Andre's hand, which was holding his hand.
"But Nazhwa, the,
"I just wanted to calm myself down for one day, Mom. Maybe tomorrow I feel better and can learn to accept this fact, if I am a wife who is not wanted by her own husband." Nazhwa interrupted her husband's words while chuckling. He smiled mocking his own poor self.
Nazhwa also swung a step out of his late brother's room.
___________
"I'm sorry, Nazhwa." Murmured Andre who was currently on his way to his office back.
Actually he did not want to go home, but what Nazhwa said was true. He had to give one day so that his wife could calm herself from the shackles of a house that was so heartbreaking.
If it was another woman, maybe now he was humiliated because he had treated his wife like that. But he was lucky because the woman was the late sister of his lover, whom he tatah Nazhwa would not reveal the tempest of his own household.
And tonight Andre has decided to go overtime at the office and probably won't go home. Despite always being indifferent and tight, but he admitted that he would feel lonely at home alone there was no wife.
