CHAPTER 29. Who Will Win?

A week passed.

The dim light of the morning sunshine makes the luxurious penthose master bedroom belonging to the Arnawama Ocean bright. Anis narrowed her eyes and stretched her body. He looked to the side and did not find Nawa there.

By forcing her eyes to open, Anis threw her gaze at the sofa where a man was sitting while staring intently at her.

Nawa stretched out her two hands on the back of the sofa and continued to watch Anis with her sharp gaze. The man didn't even seem to blink his eyes.

“What? Wh why? Did I make a mistake?” Anis asked who felt her life was being threatened by Nawa's sharp gaze.

Anis advanced her body to see Nawa more clearly. And it was true that there were dark circles around the man's eyes.

“Yeah, did you stay up all night? Your eyes until blackened so.” Seloroh Anis while mocking.

“Can be silent no? Who do you think I can't sleep all night?” Dengus Nawa's.

Anis blinked her eyes. He didn't feel like he was doing anything but why was it as if Nawa was accusing him? He pointed to himself with an expression asking Nawa.

“Thank you because I didn't throw you off the balcony.”

“What am I wrong?” Anis asked with wide eyes. Shindered imagining if he was actually thrown out of the balcony by Nawa while sleeping soundly. When he opened his eyes, he was already in another realm. Hiiii.

“What's wrong? You ask what's wrong? You sleep snoring like ba bi!” Nawa was already at the peak of her wrath.

“Snore? That's not possible. I never snore. I don't feel like I'm snoring. You must have heard wrong.” Anis defended herself. It's delicious he's in a dwarf snoring like ba bi.

“Hah!” Nawa grimaced in disbelief at Anis' defense. “that's because you're so sound that you don't realize that your throat is screaming.”

“If you're distracted why not wake me up?” Anis was still trying to defend herself.

“I told you you fell asleep like ba bi. Do you think you're not trying to wake you up? It's already! Today I was upset, tired, and I was very sleepy. I have to go to work.” Nawa snorted while getting up from the sofa and was about to go to the bathroom.

Anis could only bow her head with all the shame mixed with fear. Did he really fall asleep last night until he didn't realize he was snoring?

“And, today you are free to go anywhere from do not appear before me.” Nawa Imbuh.

“Hah? What?”

“Don't be happy first, it's because I'm upset. Not because I care about you and give you time to meet your friends.”

“What did I say?” Anis Mumbled. He sneered at Nawa's back which had disappeared behind the door. But he returned sumringah because he got ‘ days off’ from Nawa. Coincidentally yesterday he had promised May to spend time together.

“Yesss.!”

In the bathroom, Nawa was looking at the obvious stupidity plastered on her face. He grumbled at his own reflection in the wahsink mirror. He didn't have to say the last word to Anis.

Last night, Nawa overheard a bit of Anis' conversation with her friend on the phone. So he took the initiative to give time to Anis so that he could entertain himself by meeting with his friends.

Nawa had already finished her bath and had come out from there with a towel coiled around her waist. Her hands were drying her hair with a small towel in her hands. He did not see Anis in the room. But he could see that the door of the room was wide open which indicated that the girl must have come out of the room.

After getting dressed, Nawa came out and went downstairs. He found a confused Anis staring into an open refrigerator.

“What are you doing?” Ask the one while wearing his suit.

“Ha? No, I want to cook something for you, but these ingredients are too foreign and I don't know how to cook them.”

“No need to make me breakfast. I'm late for the office. You can have breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor.” A brief explanation from Nawa before the man darted away leaving Anis agape in front of the open refrigerator door.

The feeling of guilt and pity because Nawa could not sleep last night because she, plus the man did not eat breakfast before going to the office, made Anis go awry. So he got a brilliant idea to make supplies and will deliver them to Nawa's office. He had to make amends last night.

Before that he had sent a message to May that later in the day he would come to his friend's house and they would have fun all day.

Of all the luxury ingredients in the refrigerator, Anis chose the ingredients she knew and processed them into food. Confidently he packed the food very nicely. And about eleven o'clock in the afternoon he had left the penthouse to head to Nawa's office.

Arriving in front of the apartment, Anis stopped a taxi and asked the driver to drive her to SJ Tower.

On the way, Anis checks the message he sent to May, the message has been read and makes Anis smile happy even though May did not reply to the message.

“Nona, it's up.” The taxi driver told Anis that they had arrived in front of the SJ Tower building.

After paying his fare, Anis immediately came out with a stock in his hand. He did it all to make up for his mistake. His strategy was to attract Nawa's attention so that she could more easily approach the man. He did not care if the man had strangled him or what, obviously he had to get useful information immediately for his contract with Dianty to expire.

“Excuse me, may I meet with mr Nawa?” Anis asked one of the receptionists.

“Sorry, Miss. Have you made an appointment with Mr Nawa?”

“Ehm, not yet.” Anis shook her head in the form of her answer.

“Sorry, Miss. But you have to make an appointment first with mr. Nawa.”

“But I just want to deliver this only.” Anis Resolute.

“Sorry. If you want, you can leave it here, later we will help give it to mr. Nawa.”

“No. I have to deliver and give it to him myself.”

The receptionist caught the presence of ‘danger’ signal from the girl. One of them secretly called the security guard.

Two security officers came and went straight to Anis. “Sorry, Miss. But you have to get out of here. You are disturbing other visitors.” Said one of the officers. They took her two arms to lead her out of the loby. Anis screamed because one of the officers grabbed her too hard to hurt her.

“What are you doing?!! Release him!!!!”
