CHAPTER 35. Barra's Threat.

For more than a month now, Nawa's treatment of Anis has softened. The man rarely yelled at Anis. That's because Anis has started to get used to what he can and cannot do, especially when they are at home. But still, Anis is still digging about Nawa. He reported where Nawa went and what the man had done to Dianty.

And during this one month as well, Anis still had not found a way to enter into that secret room. The security system is so sophisticated that it makes Anis difficult. Moreover, the movement is always monitored by CCTV for 24 hours.

This morning, Anis was pecking at her reflection in front of the changing room mirror. He was ready with blue jeans and a white top. He tied his hair into a ponytail. Once he felt enough, he grabbed his sling bag from the hanger and then came out of the dressing room.

“Where are you going?” Ask Nawa who is justifying her tie.

“I'll go to get some fresh air. I haven't seen my friends in a long time.”

“Do you have friends?” Seloroh Nawa's.

“Do not mock me. Although I rarely leave the house, but I also have friends who want to spend time with me.” Anis Cibir.

“I think your friend is just May.” Nawa immediately shut her mouth tightly.

Nawa's words instantly turned the atmosphere awkward. Anis is still in mourning for May's tragic death. When Nawa mentions May's name, Anis's heart is again torn apart.

“Sorry, I didn't mean..”

“Already, I'm late.” Anis quickly passed by to avoid Nawa's gaze as her eyes began to water.

Nawa could only look at the back of Anis who disappeared from behind the door. He felt bad because he had offended about the sad thing.

Anis shed her tears while inside the elevator. Many times he wiped his tears that fell down his cheeks.

Arriving at the parking lot, Anis immediately approached her motorcycle and put a helmet on her head. Only then did he ride and immediately drive his motorcycle out of the apartment yard.

From the balcony window of the living room, Nawa could see a shadow as small as an ant walking towards the highway. He knew it was Anis. The man sighed then walked towards the sofa to pick up his suit then walked out of the Penthouse.

Anis stopped at a shopping mall and parked her motorcycle. He walked to the second floor of the mall then entered in a famous boutique outlet. It was a boutique outlet that he had entered when he met Dianty first.

“Please, Miss.” One of the boutique employees directed Anis to enter a VIP room. There, Barra was waiting for him.

Anis frowned at the man who was reading the magazine. He knew who Barra was because he had met the man at SJ Tower and at dinner in the mansion.

“What are you doing here? Where's Mommy?” Anis asked Barra. He took a seat in front of Barra then placed his bag on the sofa beside him.

“Oh, have you come? Mom couldn't come so she sent me here. I heard you were the spy my mother sent to Nawa? Jeez, I didn't expect this at all.” Seloroh Barra even though he already knew everything from the beginning.

Anis just kept quiet while staring intently at Barra. He wasn't sure he could pass on the information to a man who didn't seem to know anything about it.

Barra reached out her hand to ask for something from Anis. “Give me.” Barra.

“No.” Answer Anis spontaneously.

“I still can't get into that secret room. The security is very high and I need time.”

“Come on, don't disappoint my mother. We already paid you very expensive.”

“Or you can find someone else to do it.” Threatening Anis.

“You crazy? How can we possibly find your replacement while you're married to Nawa?”

“Then, wait for.”

Barra threw her back on the back of the sofa. He did not like the stupid girl who had been hired by his mother because the girl worked very slowly. It's been a month and he hasn't found any useful information.

“How long should we wait?”

“I've already said this to your mother. If I'm gonna do this my way.”

“So what's your way?!” Barra was already impatient with his frustration. “Listen, don't make us wait any longer. I could have hurt you if my patience was over.”

Such a threat was simply unbearable against Anis. He had even felt his life on the edge when Nawa strangled him first.

“I don't have much time because the resort managed by Nawa has begun to run its construction. I should be able to take that resort back after it's 100% complete%. Do you understand?”

Yes, Anis understands very well that they are all being pursued by time. And it looks like Anis has to move fast this time. He was in the midst of men who thirsted for wealth and power. He realized how dangerous it would be if he continued to buy time.

“I understand.” Answer Anis.

“I give you three days to know the contents of that secret room. Otherwise, I will tell Nawa everything and make you die in her hands.” Threaten Barra again.

Barra got up from her seat by slashing her leg. He deliberately showed his threat to Anis to suppress the girl's emotions. Though Anis did not care at all about the threat because basically Nawa already knew that he was Dianty's man.

Anis knew that Nawa was deliberately involved in the game, and that was why it was difficult for him to pry information. Nawa was always careful not to open up to Anis. Moreover, regarding the secret room, Nawa absolutely does not allow anyone to be near her.

Anis was almost frustrated thinking of ways to get into the secret room. But no matter how he thought of the possibility, he remained deadlocked. The only way is, he has to turn off the security system and CCTV first. That's the most troublesome part.

Drrt... Drrt... Drrt...

Anis picked up her phone as it vibrated.

“Halo, Vivi?” Sweepings. “Alright, I'll be there now.” Anis said before turning off her phone and putting it back in her bag.

Anis got up from her seat and walked out of the boutique VIP room, she then went to meet Vivi, her friend. Today they have promised to see a fashion show held by the Vivi family. And Vivi was one of the designers.

Actually Anis has a lot of friends. It's just that he rarely gathers with them if there is nothing important that needs to be discussed. And Vivi is one of his friends who is still on good terms with him to this day.
