CHAPTER 37. Because I Like You.

Vivi was still staring intently at Anis who was sitting in front of her. The woman crossed her arms in protest to Anis.

“How could you not tell us about your wedding? Are you really my friend?” Dengus Vivi's.

“Sorry, hehehhee.” Anis didn't know what to answer. He knew that he had made Vivi upset and disappointed.

While Nawa is busy with a small disturbance from Neel who continues to bother her. Neel didn't even care when her father forbade her not to bother Nawa.

“I'm really sorry, Vivi.”

“Yes already, I won't bother with that anymore. That's your personal life and I have no right to interfere.” Vivi finally gave up.

“Jeez, see him then? Very funny.” Seloroh Anis looked towards Neel who was still busy disturbing Nawa. “He's exactly like his father. Jahil.”

“It's true. They are very similar to each other. Thanks to you, Anis, for bringing me together with Hito. He's an amazing and responsible man.”

“I know, that's why I chose it for you. He never disappointed anyone. And I'm sure in the future too he will continue like that.”

“You stopped by home?” Tawar Vivi.

Anis shakes. “I still have things to do. Then I go first.” Pamit Anis got up from her seat.

Seeing Anis who was already standing up and getting ready to leave, Nawa immediately brushed off Neel's arm that was writhing at her feet and ran small towards Anis. Neel did not give up, he also ran after Nawa.

“You are why?” Anis asked Neel and Nawa.

“This handsome uncle does not want to play with me.”

“Yeah, is it because you guys are both handsome, so you guys don't fit?” It was Anis who made Nawa frown.

“It's done?” Ask Nawa.

Anis answered him by nodding her head then she and Nawa said goodbye to Vivi, Hito, and Neel.

“What happened? Why are you suddenly here?” Anis asked as soon as they walked out of the building.

“Kan I told you, I want to give you a surprise.” Answer Nawa casually.

“That's what I mean, why do you want to give me a surprise?”

“Color I like you.”

Spontaneous Anis instantly stopped her steps and looked at the back of Nawa who was in front of her. While Nawa then stopped when she realized that Anis had been left behind.

Anis believes that the words are just empty words from Nawa. But somehow his heart was beating so fast.

Same with Nawa. Though his goal only wanted to attack the girl, but somehow his heart even rippled as he said those words.

“You're not coming?” Nawa's question disperse Anis's daydream. He threw his face to the side then continued his steps.

It's okay, Anis will take advantage of this situation to go deeper into Nawa's life. He will make this a good opportunity that he can use to extract information from the man. He had to finish his mission immediately before his life was truly in danger.

“We go home together.” Nawa said to break the silence.

“No. I brought my motorcycle.” Reject Anis raw.

“Give me the key.” Nawa requests the key contact of Anis' motorcycle.

“For what?”

Anis reached into his motorcycle key from inside the bag and gave it to Nawa. After obtaining the key, Nawa immediately threw it at Yoham who was walking behind them.

“What are you doing?” Anis Protest.

“You're coming home with me.” Force Nawa again.

Yoham understood Nawa's intentions. She lets Nawa drive her own car while she rides Anis's motorcycle.

“So morning where have you been?” Investigating Nawa when they were already in the car and the car was already driving on the highway.

“And I told you, I met my friend.” Anis answered, still shifting her eyes.

“Not met with Mom?”

The question was able to make Anis directly turn to Nawa. “What do you mean?”

“Nothing. I was just thinking maybe you were giving him a report because I haven't seen you meet my mom in a long time.”

“Mumpung you already know that, why don't you tell me your secret room password number?”

“You crazy? Why do I have to tell you the password?”

you're really troubling me, Nawa.

“You had lunch together?” Nawa again. Lately the man has turned out to be very chatty and a lot of questions.

“No. I'mtired. I just want to go home and sleep.” Reject Anis.

“I'm sorry about this morning. I shouldn't have offended him.”

“Already.”

“But, why haven't you been calling lately?” Nawa asked still with her investigation.

“Entahlah. Maybe he doesn't need me anymore.”

“Why did you say that? Did something happen between you and Mom?”

“Nothing happened between us. You're getting chatty. What exactly do you want to know?”

Nawa just sneered then refocused herself onto the highway. He did not answer Anis's question. His efforts to extract information about his mother still encountered obstacles. It turned out that Anis was not as stupid as he thought.

Arriving at the Penthaouse, Anis immediately entered the room and immersed herself in the blanket. He pretended to be exhausted when in fact he just wanted to think of a way to get into the secret room. He's almost out of time. He had to make Nawa off guard.

As Anis had expected, after making sure he was asleep, Nawa went straight out of the room and went towards the secret room. This time Anis noticed exactly what Nawa was doing to open the door. He recorded the sound of the password button and saved it on his phone. Then Anis returns to the room before being caught by Nawa.

Inside the room, Anis repeatedly played the recording using a headset on her ear. He covered his body completely with a blanket and tried to guess the possible numbers pressed by Nawa.

“You're really asleep?” Nawa's voice shocked Anis and tried to act as if she was asleep.

“I'll be out for a while.” Nawa again. Thinking that Anis was actually sleeping, Nawa shut the door and left.

With the departure of Nawa, Anis can freely do the action. He had already managed to guess the number from the secret room password. He should try it right away. But the thing is, there is still CCTV that keeps an eye on him.

Anis walks into the kitchen and picks up some dust cleaning tools, mops, and disinfectant bottles that have been replaced with colored liquids. Many times Anis demonstrated what he would do in his mind to minimize failure. After he was sure that his efforts would not fail, Anis walked upstairs and pretended to clean up the area.

While cleaning pots and tall plants that are just below the CCTV by climbing a bench, the, Anis kicked the mop bucket and pretended to fall and the disinfectant bottle in her hand flew and hit the CCTV until the liquid covered the camera. He didn't have much time before Nawa's men came to him.
