CHAPTER 34. Anode Movement.

This morning, Anis and Nawa return to the penthouse after a night in the funeral home. Drowsiness still crept into Anis's eyes. Only after he took a shower could he open his eyes perfectly. His shoulders and arms ached and made him continue to grimace as he moved. While Nawa watched the situation carefully.

“Why are you grimacing so?” Ask Nawa at the end.

“My neck and arms hurt. Looks like I got the wrong sleeping position last night.” Anis replied that she had fallen asleep for a while with her arm.

“Sleep comfortably.” Nawa's orders again. He held up a blanket for Anis to lie down.

“Where are you going?”

“I will shower after that go to the office.”

“Ke office? But you didn't sleep all night.”

“What's really why? I'm not sleepy at all.” Reply Nawa casually then went inside the bathroom.

As Nawa exits the bathroom, she sees Anis who is already busy in dreamland. Then he went into the dressing room to change his clothes. After he finished, he rushed out while grabbing the phone from the table.

Actually Anis has not fallen asleep, he just pretended to trick Nawa. He secretly follows Nawa out of the room and into the secret room. Anis settles down while continuing to pay attention to how Nawa got into the room.

Anis could hear Nawa push the security button then go inside and close the door. He immediately ran to the door and noticed the buttons. He heard his voice but could not see clearly because it was covered by Nawa's back.

Carefully, Anis put her ear on the door leaf hoping she would listen to something, but it was useless because she could not listen to anything from the outside.

“How do I get in here?” Anis Mumbled.

Anis didn't have much time to be there. So he immediately left to avoid suspicion when Nawa suddenly came out of the room. He peeked behind the wall when he saw Nawa coming out of it not long after.

“Ahh, I'm really very curious. What exactly is in there?” Mumbled Anis again.

As Nawa turned her head and circulated her gaze, Anis immediately pulled her head with a very firm heart. He was afraid that Nawa would come upon him. But fortunately the man seemed unaware of his existence. Before Nawa felt suspicious, Anis immediately ran into the room again.

It's not that Nawa doesn't know that Anis is following her. He only pretends when he knows everything. He even smiled sinisterly when he saw Anis' shadow behind the wall.

Disregarding that, Nawa rushed out of the charmer griya. As usual, Yoham was waiting for him near the elevator. The man nodded his head at Nawa.

While in the car, Yoham did not immediately drive his car. He instead showed an online news portal from his tablet to Nawa.

‘The son of a minister initialed ‘R’ is suspected of being involved in drug abuse.’

Under that title, there was also a photo of a man whose face was disguised. From the comments of the readers, they concluded that it was Rendra.

Yoham nodded. “According to you who did it?”

“If it's true it's Anoda, but why would they bother doing this? What is their relationship with this?”

Yoham nodded in agreement to what Nawa said. He also thinks so.

“Already, let's go.”

Yoham drove back to SJ Tower. While on the trip, Nawa contacted Duta to inquire about the case. But the Ambassador still has not found evidence of a link between Rendra and May's murder.

“See on the internet, maybe it will help you.” Nawa gave her advice.

Arriving at the office, Nawa meets Barra who is chatting with the female receptionist. The usual thing that man did to spread his charm to all the women he met. Just make Nawa puff.

Nawa was busy until noon. He even forgot that last night he did not sleep at all and chatted more with the Ambassador. On the sidelines of the chat, Nawa tells Ambassador that Anis and May are close friends. Iajuga tells about what he found at Club ARA about Rendra who continues to threaten May to tell Anis whereabouts.

Nawa played the video with wide eyes. He watched and let the food cool.

It was a video from the car dashboard that recorded the unexpected events carried out by Rendra and his friends. They're molesting someone, and that person is May. That's very strong evidence for the police to subdue Rendra.

One thing that stuck in Nawa's mind was, why did Anoda go that far? Usually they only need to directly finish off someone without having to bother handing it over to the police let alone arrive

spreading the crimes of his victims to the general public. That is not at all the workings of the Anoda because usually they will work secretly.

There must be something that triggers the Anoda to do this even though it is full of risks. And if Nawa can figure out the reason, maybe she can use that to her advantage and get Anoda to side with her to fight her enemies.
