Matchmaking Bond
Last day of the honeymoon!

On the last day before returning home, Dave and Fiona decide to take a walk on one of the mountain lakes. After finishing breakfast, they were picked up again by the driver who last delivered them. This lake is just below the top of the mountain so the weather will be a little cooler than on the beach. Fiona doesn't bring a jacket or clothes for the cold but she's too prestigious to tell Dave. They were still in a state of silence of a thousand languages while the journey would take a minimum of two hours.

Fiona who was originally enjoying the scenery, finally fell asleep. Dave, who sees that Fiona is asleep, moves Fiona's head and puts it on Dave's thigh so Fiona can sleep more comfortably. Dave looked at Fiona's tired face.

Surely he didn't sleep well last night, Dave thought. Fiona didn't talk to him last night and just played with his phone. Dave wants to know if Fiona messaged Tommy but is reluctant to ask.

Dave touches Fiona's falling hair and covers her face. Looked at Fiona's face carefully. That girl is so tiny. Her hair was smooth and straight and black in color that was never dyed. Her lips were plain, there was no lipstick coloring her lips. Although not wearing make-up, but this girl is still beautiful. For a few days married to Fiona, Dave knew that Fiona loved to eat but did not gain weight. As long as they were silent to each other, it did not affect Fiona's appetite. Fiona always looks happy when the food comes. Dave imagines when he sees Fiona eating and smiling happily.

Other girls will be happy if brought for shopping expensive items but Fiona is happy when she is brought to eat. Dave has been questioned twice by Fiona if she loves Fiona or not. But Dave just realized that he himself never asked how Fiona felt about him. I have to think of something to know how Fiona really feels about me.

But what if Fiona falls in love with Tommy? Tommy also knew that our wedding was on paper! think Dave.

Suddenly the car they were riding in had stopped and the driver said that they had arrived. Dave still refuses to wake up Fiona who is fast asleep. But out of fear that they'll make it last night, Dave finally wakes Fiona up.

"Fio, wake. We're here." said Dave softly.

Dave repeats it a few times until Fiona wakes up. Fiona woke up confused. How did he sleep on Dave's thigh? He slept with his head leaning against the window.

They got out of the car and immediately the wind blew. It's cold, Fiona thought. Dave, who realizes that Fiona's clothes are not for the weather in the mountains, immediately gives her the jacket she was wearing.

"No need, you just wear it!" sergeant Fiona.

"I'm man. I'm used to cold-resistant. You just wear it, so we can enjoy the view here." reject Dave when Fiona insists on returning the jacket.

"Thank you, Dave."

"Either. Let's go for a walk!"

The lake is beautiful, surrounded by flowers that are deliberately planted. Dave invites Fiona to spend time at one of the restaurants that have the right view leading to the lake. They sat down and ordered coffee and snacks.

"Are you hungry, Fio?

"Yet. But it didn't take me long to get hungry because it's time for lunch."

"Do you want to order food now or later after we enjoy coffee and snacks?"

"May also your idea."

Dave calls the waiter who arrives with the menu book, After Dave and Fiona order everything they want, Fiona gets busy with her phone.

"Are you so boring with me that you spend a lot of your time playing on your phone?"

"Eh, I'm sorry. I got a message from Angie about my lecture." Fiona replied as she put her phone in her pocket.

"Is this beautiful?" dave asked breaking the silence.

"It's so beautiful. I should've brought a jacket so you wouldn't get cold."

"If you care about me, you can sit a little closer to me."

Fiona who actually felt the need to keep her distance, decided to sit closer to Dave because she did not want Dave to fall ill. Dave is surprised that Dave thinks that Fiona will turn him down, but Fiona really sits close by his side. Dave was suddenly delighted.

Their snacks and coffee have arrived. They enjoyed the food and this magnificent view in silence. Dave thought, when he was with another girl, the other girl never let him enjoy the atmosphere and kept talking. But with Fiona, it was completely different. This girl calmly ate and enjoyed her coffee and snacks.

"Are you going to see Tommy when we get back?"

"Don't know. Because I have to go back to college. I'll be busy for a while."

"Oh." Fiona's reply made Dave a little relieved.

"If you are, is there a girl you should meet if you come back later?"

"There" replied Dave who deliberately made Fiona curious.

Oh, turns out he's got a girl. If he had a girl, why would he marry me? Why did he kiss me? thought Fiona was sad. Fiona thinks Dave likes to play with women. But Fiona is reluctant to ask Dave any further, it would be best if I keep my distance from Dave and try to forget my feelings for Dave, breaking up Fiona.

Dave wondered why Fiona had suddenly become silent again. Was it because she replied that she was going to meet another woman who was her client, angering Fiona? Does Fiona like me? Dave was a little confused and happy. Confused that Fiona is suddenly silent and happy because if Fiona is angry it means she is jealous. Dave smiled when Fiona was silent. Fiona who saw Dave smile, felt so upset.
