Matchmaking Bond
Doctors Rio and Angie.

While Fiona was in intensive care, Dave never left the hospital at all. He only went to buy food and drink, to the bathroom or to the chapel to pray. During the day, Angie comes to visit but is not allowed to enter. Angie brings food and new clothes for Dave, as Angie is convinced that Dave will not want to go back home even for a moment.

Only this time Angie sees Dave in a state of shock and sadness.The beard and mustache begin to grow, her hair disheveled. Dave's clothes haven't changed since he came to the hospital. Angie is angry and upset with Dave because she thinks he is playing with his best friend. But at this time, when he saw Dave's situation was not good at all, he believed that the man also loved Fiona very much. So because of that, Angie really hopes that Fiona can recover quickly so that she can live happily with her husband.

"Hi, I'm sorry I just got here now because I had to make a testimony at the hospital first. I also met your coworkers! How it works is amazing!" said Angie was trying to cheer Dave up.

"Ah, it's okay. We can not enter now because the schedule of his visit is only later in the afternoon. Thanks for helping out so much!" reply Dave who is not excited.

"Have you eaten?"

"That's it, noon yet!"

"That's bag. Here I bring food and drinks in the bottle. There are also toiletries and a change of clothes. It's new!"

"Don't bother. I don't need it." Dave refused.

"I didn't bring this to you! But for Fiona... Try to think if Fiona is conscious and sees you messy and smelly like this. What would Fiona think? He would definitely even worry more!" obviously Angie.

Because of the many thoughts that flashed in Dave's head, Dave did not have time to think about himself. He would eat anything he could find quickly. The man drank a lot of coffee and his eye circles blackened from not being able to sleep at all.

Dave gives Angie his cell phone number and goes to take a shower. Angie tries to keep herself busy and walks around the intensive care room. There is a small park and a long bench. The atmosphere of the intensive care room really makes people depressed, so whoever makes this little garden is really very smart and helpful.

Angie decided to sit on a long bench facing the intensive care room, so that if there was a call from a nurse or doctor, she would know right away.

"You were yesterday, right?" ask someone who suddenly greets Angie.

Angie turned her head and saw that there was a handsome doctor yesterday. The doctor was tall and white. Although still young, but there is a great sense of authority. Angie looks very short next to him although Angie is not too short with a height of 160 cm. But this doctor must be about 185 cm, because it is very high! thought Angie.

"Hello, Doc! Yes, I was yesterday. Is the doctor going that way?" ask Angie who pointed to the intensive care room.

"Oh no, I'm taking a short break before surgery starts."

"Whoaaa. cool, Doc! You are young but you can be a surgeon!"

Angie's eyes twinkled as she looked at Doctor Rio. Doctor Rio was shocked because only this time his profession could make people gape in admiration.  Most people, would think his profession was terrible because he would always be in contact with blood. But Doctor Rio loved his job very much because by doing a good job, he was able to save the lives of precious people.

"Actually she's a best friend but we're close like sisters! Yeah, I was visiting but I can't go in because it's not scheduled yet. I replaced her husband to wait here if there was any news from the doctor or nurse inside" Angie said at length.

"Where is her husband?"

"His husband hasn't left this place since yesterday, so I brought him a shirt and told him to take a shower! Doc, may I ask you a question? How is my friend progressing? Is he going to be okay?"

"Hmmm, seeing his condition after surgery yesterday, his condition is normal and fairly good. However, I am not sure when Mrs Fiona will wake up. Until the time he realized, the situation we call critical. So I put Mrs Fiona in intensive care so she can be treated intensively!"

"I beg you, Doc! Save my best friend!" angie pinta.

"I'll try my best. Don't call me Doc dong. As if I was old. My name is Rio Hartadi." said Doctor Rio while thrusting his hand.

"I'm Angela Pramono. Call me Angie!" angie was excited.

"It's nice to meet you!"

"Me too, Doc! Uh, Rio!"

"I'll be right back in my room to check the patient's last report before going to the surgery. It's really nice to meet you."

"Eh Rio, since we're already acquainted with each other, may I ask for your mobile number?" ask Angie who's aggressive. When else would he have such a cool acquaintance, Angie thought.

"May." replied Doctor Rio and gave his number.

"Happy duty. Good luck. Anytime if there's time, let's go out to eat?" take Angie.

"Okay. Just call me." replied the doctor with a smile.

Ahhhh, her smile melts my heart. At that time Angie did not know the background of Doctor Rio, so she was only happy to have acquaintances of such cool people. Shortly after, Dave came in clean and pleasing to the eye. Fiona's husband is actually handsome, but Angie just found out that men can feel deep sadness like Dave feels, so it can make his appearance become disheveled!

Dave sat down next to Angie and started eating the food Angie was carrying with her. Unfinished Dave finished his meal, a nurse called Dave to come in. It turns out that the nurse asked Dave for his signature on a drug that was considered harsh. Dave signed it and sat down. He had already explained how hard the drug was, to make his appetite disappear instantly.

Dave's face was visibly agonized at the sheer amount of medicine Fiona needed as well as the hoses that connected to the monitor to support his wife's life. Although the doctors and nurses who deal with Fiona do not want to make Dave more worried by calling Fiona stable, but Dave knows that his wife is in a coma.

Why can't I be aware of Fiona's condition with bronchitis? Why can't I protect my wife? inner Dave grimly. Dave blames himself for what happened to Fiona.
