Doubt the feeling!

Dave did not waste his time again when the day was getting late and the work for today was done, Dave immediately packed the bag and left the office. Dave can't wait to go home and meet Fiona. After lunch with Tommy, Dave can't focus on working and thinking about going home. Dave had already thought of some possibilities that would happen. Dave nodded in agreement and they went inside the house. Dave goes to the bathroom and Fiona is busy with her phone. Shortly after, their order was delivered and as Fiona expected, heavy rain flushed the house with lightning striking. Fiona opened the chicken package and prepared a plate for the meal. Dave joined him at the dinner table.

"So what happened in the office?" ask Fiona again.

"You mean?"

"That morning Tommy called you repeatedly. What's up?"

"Oh, about this morning! Now I'm not taking Lana Wilson's case anymore!"

"Couldn't you? What the hell's going on?"

"According to Tommy, it would be better if he handled Lana Wilson's case because I'm married. He doesn't want you to hurt his heart!"

"Tommy and Lana slept together last night!"

Fiona almost chokes on the fried chicken she ate when she heard Dave's words. There's no way Tommy could do something like that. She was with us last night, Fiona thought.

"I know what's on your mind but believe me that's what happened! Tommy deliberately asked me to hand the case over to him. Lost is my expensive pay!" groaned Dave with a contrived facial expression.

"They just sleep together in bed, right? So what's the problem?" ask Fiona innocent.

Dave returned to his chair and ate his chicken in silence.
