Matchmaking Bond
Lana came to visit

That night was long and tiring, Dave who was trying to rest his body, trying to lie down and close his eyes. But failing, chaotic thoughts and guilty feelings reverberated in his head. Not a single doctor or nurse called him to inform him of his wife, Fiona. That worry ripped Dave's heart from the inside out. Eventually exhausted, Dave falls asleep in the sleeping bag Tommy gave him.

The length of the night is replaced by the morning, a nurse calls Dave's name. Dave awoke to his name when he heard it called.

"Mr Dave Emanuel!"

"Look..Yes." replied Dave who immediately moved from his sleeping bag.

"Father can come in to see Lady Fiona. My dad's time is only ten minutes!"

Dave didn't waste any time. She went into intensive care, put on sterile clothes and washed her hands. Dave went straight to the room where Fiona was lying weak.

Seeing Fiona in such a state of affairs really tormented her heart.

"My dear, you need to wake up and be healthy again! I haven't asked you out on a date!" said Dave sadly.

Kissing Fiona's tiny face, her lips are blue but Fiona's body still feels warm. Dave's gaze became blurred because of the tears that were held in his eye sockets. His face was somber, his heart full of burdens. He saw that there was a new liquid flowing, but the girl's expression was as pale as before.

Suddenly there was a hand holding Dave's shoulder. Dave immediately turned his back and saw the woman next to him was Lana!

"Hi, how's it going?" ask Lana.

"It's still unconscious but the doctor said last night, it's still conducive."

"May she recover quickly" Lana said sincerely.

Lana heard this news from Tommy who called her last night. Tommy's voice sounded very hoarse and raucous when contacting him. It showed that Tommy had feelings for the little girl lying weakly in bed.

Dave leaned over and brushed the hair off Fiona's face. Dave grimaced sadly at the sight of the girl.

"I'm so sorry, honey. So very sorry! If only I could replace you here. Let me be the one who's sick!" say Dave.

Lana who heard Dave's words to Fiona, became very touched. If only there was a man who loved me like this, Lana's inner self.

A doctor approaches them, and asks Dave to meet her to explain Fiona's latest condition this morning. Lana who felt no need to follow, stayed by Fiona's side. Fiona's hands were held sincerely.

"We have not yet met directly. But I really wish you could get well!" said sincerely.

Unbeknownst to Lana, Tommy actually just got there when Tommy saw Dave go to the doctor's office and see Lana there. Tommy hears Lana say to Fiona.

It turned out that the girl wasn't as bad as I thought, Tommy thought.

"Hi.." said Tommy.

Tommy looks handsome with a white shirt, and a black suit. His hair is neatly combed and has been styled using wax. Tommy looks prominent because of his height. His presence intimidates Lana.

"Hi. You're not working?"

"I was on my way to the office but decided to stop by because there was no news at all from Dave!"

Lana's heart aches knowing that Tommy cares deeply for this weak girl. Lana wants to find out how close Tommy is to this girl. Lana herself couldn't explain why she felt this way. After the night in the hotel, she always thought about the man standing in front of her. But he would not admit it in front of this man.

"Then, excuse me. I have to work too!" lana said quickly.

"I'll drive you!"

"No need because my driver was waiting. You better be here, waiting for Dave to come. Because it's not good for this girl to be alone!"

Tommy is about to argue Lana's words but when thinking about Fiona's situation being alone, Tommy undoes his intentions. Today, this girl is more important than anything because Tommy never felt joy until he met Fiona. Lana without waiting any longer, directly stepped out of the intensive care room. When Tommy decided to wait for the girl, his heart ached. It turns out that the girl really meant a lot to Tommy.

Lana immediately took off her sterile clothes and cussed at her shoes again and went out and headed to her car. Tommy could only stare at Lana's back, which was rising from the room. Tommy wanted to chase her but abandoned his intentions.

He'll meet Lana if things get better. She looked at Lana's face and held her hand. Tommy really hopes that he can be a source of strength for this weak and unconscious girl. Dave, who had returned from the doctor's office, saw Tommy there but Lana wasn't there.

"Have you met Lana? Where's she?"

"Yes I met for a while but the girl left immediately because there was a job!"

"Why are you here? Aren't you going to work?"

"I just stopped by on my way to the office. Hows it? What did the doctor say?"

"Fiona's condition is still the same because of her bronchitis. Right now we can only hope that he will wake up from his sleep. The doctor did everything he could!"

Tommy sees a black ring on Dave's face and hair that has started to grow on his face. Dave looked so sad and messy. Tommy was about to advise Dave to return home, but it would be immediately rejected by his best friend. Now they can do nothing but pray to God and ask for a miracle!

Dave clasped Fiona's hand and kissed the girl's cheek. Tears dripped from Dave's face. Dave could no longer hold back his tears.

"If the police can't find the culprit, I'll find the culprit and kill him if Fiona doesn't survive!" Dave's oath.

"I'll try my best, Dave. Trust me! Not only are you angry, but I am too! Because we shouldn't be Fiona!" tommy was angry.

Time passed quickly, nurses came to ask visitors out of the room because time was up and they needed to do their job. Tommy and Dave walked out of the room. Tommy did not want to spend any more time in the hospital, so he immediately said goodbye to go to the office and start his work. Dave who felt helpless just nodded and sat in his sleeping bag. After Tommy leaves, Dave folds his sleeping bag and goes to the small chapel again to pray. Dave prays and pleads incessantly to ask for healing and a miracle for Fiona, his little wife he loves so much.
