...42...

As ever, this palace-like house is always empty, deserted. There is no more laughter like before. Nolan hasn't seen his papa since he last went on tour.

It was almost afternoon, and it was already the tenth day that his father left the house, as usual, not giving him any news.

Nolan felt it all started with him. His papa used to always give news, and never let his guard down to ask his news when going out of town. But for the past three years, Nolan has always ignored any form of attention Hendra has given him. As a result, his papa now seemed to stop expecting himself. Stop looking ahead where he is. Papa is like .. give up on his attitude.

Only now, that longing re-emerged in his mind after nearly four years of strengthening the ego. Nolan sat on his empty papa bed, but was still inhaled by the distinctive aroma of the papa that Nolan once loved. The soft, soothing aroma, was also like being filled with affection when Nolan asked the sling to inhale it.

His fingers reached into his pants pocket, pulled out a cell phone and stared softly at the wallpaper showing a picture of him in the arms of Marla and Hendra.

With an awkward gesture, Nolan pressed the icon with the phone handle and looked for his papa contact. There, at the very top, appeared a picture of Hendra who smiled wide was sincere in a satin shirt and glasses framed in his nose bangir. Nolan secretly developed a smile.

“I'm sorry Nolan, has been selfish all this time, Pa.” he said grudgingly, then turned his gaze towards the family photo hanging above the headboard. “When papa gets home? Nolan wants to talk a lot and apologize to papa.”

Now, Nolan's little heart misses his father so much. Wishing her papa would suddenly appear as usual when she did not expect the man to hate her. He dropped his body on a mattress that was neatly arranged even though it was not inhabited, then rubbed right in the usual part of his papa occupied.

Suddenly, he woke up remembering something. He just remembered that he had an appointment to come to Caca's house tonight. Nolan rushed out of his papa's room, and returned to his room to clean up immediately and prepare for the house.

But before that, he took the time to send a short message to his father:

When home?

Yes it was, and after that Nolan approached a luxurious cardboard labeled Higher Dream that welcomed the view of Nolan. The box arrived a day ago. Nolan smiled and walked over.

Higher Dream itself, is a replica company that is famous in several parts of the world. They produce replicas that are ordered by people who make money, and the results, of course, are in accordance with the price paid. Very exciting, more than satisfying.

Already ready with a black shirt suit that he rolled limited to the elbow, following the knee-length shorts he was wearing, he rushed. Nolan rubbed the cardboard, then prepared for Caca's house as the sun slipped further west. Not to forget, he took one of the car keys hanging lined up in a special closet in the living room. Nolan chose the Range Rover as his mount today because the sky was a little cloudy.

During the drive, Nolan unceasingly stared at the cardboard box with his heart pounding incoherently. He also kept something behind his jacket. Another small, dark blue box contains a barren necclase of Saturn's moon Titan.

One large gasp of breath returned Nolan escaped from his lips. This was the first time he had given a gift to a woman. And the truth is, he had nothing to do with that woman. They are just friends.

Arriving in front of Caca's yard, Nolan held the heavy cardboard very carefully. He took off the home sandals— whose price can be made to buy rice with the best quality as much as ten sacks— when the white ceramic floor welcomed him.

Sepi, like uninhabited. That's the condition of Caca's house now. Nolan even took a peek from the window of the house and inside was just as lonely. But what's wrong with trying to knock, it's possible that Caca is behind or in the bathroom.

Nolan knocked on the door three times and said a greeting followed by calling Caca's name, but there was no answer. The second attempt was done in the same order, and it worked. The door leaf swung open. Caca's figure with wet hair, oversized maroon t-shirt on his body, and pants relaxed on the knee, making Nolan gaping.

“Sorry, just finished shower, Zero. Come in, I want to change clothes first.”

What's the change?

“A-ah. Okay.” in fact, the lips are not in line with the heart.

Ten minutes passed, Caca returned with clothes that fit better and fit better to make her look very beautiful.

“What do you bring?” caca kepo asked to look at the cardboard next to Nolan, then sat in a chair not far from Nolan.

“Ah, this. Make you.” says Nolan casually. He put his phone on the table, then lifted the sturdy cardboard and handed it to Caca. It was like giving as the proposal of a child of people only.

“Make me?” tanya Caca pointed to herself, and was taken in by Nolan.

Caca receives the mysterious cardboard from Nolan's hands. His eyes rounded for a moment when he felt the contents so heavy, as heavy as the weight of his life. Elah, lebay Ca.

“Open now, can?”

The talkative Nolan only nodded with a reddened face and ears. Caca's enthusiasm may be the cause. He only focused on seeing how Caca scratched the insulation inscribed with Fragile with a cutter that he took from the nightstand drawer on the side of the chair. He then frowned when the bubble wrap was seen wrapping an object.

“What the hell?” caca began to suspect.

“Ngapain tanya, can be seen by yourself.” said Nolan with a snort of annoyed breath.

Caca stared again at the bubble wrap, then pulled out the object. Intrigued, Caca immediately cut the plastic filled with air spots with a cutter, and a round object like an orange globe looks so awesome caught Caca's visual senses. He guessed, this is not a cheap item and can be obtained in any place because Caca can see from the design and materials used are very classy.

“Wah...” amazed him with sparkling eyes and gaping mouth.

“You can turn on the lights if you want.” explained Nolan who clearly knows because he asked for the shape and function of the object on the owner and design team of Higher Dream.

“Totally?” ask Caca because he still does not believe in this beautiful thing in front of him.

Nolan nodded in response.

“This is what's name?”

Nolan widened his eyes as if he could not believe Caca's question. Seriously, she doesn't know what it is?

Instantly Caca's laughter faded. This is not a joke. If until Nolan gives this, isn't he—

“There's one more.” Nolan extended his legs straight with a position still sitting on the living room chair Caca who had almost collapsed because the rubber inside was almost broken.

Caca's eyes opened wide when he saw a dark blue box on the table. He stared at the box and Nolan alternately, then Nolan gestured for him to open the box as well.

Then, in a hesitant gesture Caca grabbed the box and opened it. Caca reflexively covered her mouth with both palms and looked at Nolan in disbelief as she saw a beautiful round orange-robed gold necklace thrust in front of her.

“Nol, you what the fuck—”

Caca's words came to a halt as Nolan stood up, grabbed the necklace from the container, then walked over and stopped behind Caca's back to put it on Caca's neck.

Successfully putting the necklace unhindered around Caca's neck, Nolan returned to his seat and smiled at Clarita.

“Cantik.” said. “I did not expect the necklace to fit and look very beautiful when you wear.”

“Nol,”

“Neaseless need to protest. Simply say—”

“Oath. I can't accept this Zero.” reject Caca while looking for a necklace handle for him to release back. “This thing is expensive. I don't deserve it. Anyway, we're not—”

“Please just like that.”

Caca. Like that, what does Nolan mean?

“Consider it a gift from me as a friend.” continued Nolan with a straight highlight laden with disappointment. “Watch it a gift, and also a memento of me.”

Caca wants to cry. Is this a farewell? Will they split up after this? A drop of tears fell down Caca's cheeks.

“You cry?” nolan asked in a panic to stand up. But Caca stopped Nolan with an open palm facing Nolan.

“Te-thank you for thinking of me as a friend.”

Nolan bowed with a faint smile.

“Ca, I want to make peace with papa. What say?”

A phrase that Caca had never expected before. It turns out that his efforts did not end in vain. He had to tell Hendra about the good news. Caca just remembered, the man had not contacted him for two days.

“Ah, good then. Good luck, Zero.”

“But, until now papa has not come home. Not usually he goes out of town this long.”

Caca was a little dumbfounded. “So uncle Hendra has not come home either. Or don't-don't..”.

A bad thought flashed through Caca's mind. Hendra's medical history, known to Caca, is quite alarming. What if the man is now ill and does not come home for long periods of treatment? Hendra once told Caca that he didn't want Nolan to know he was sick.

“Why don't you call and ask how are you?”

“Already. But no reply.”

Caca's getting worried. “When did you contact your papa, Zero?”

“Tadi, before coming here.”

Shortly after, Nolan saw his phone on. A call came in from .. his papa.

“Eum.”

“Papa is home. What was? Tumben send message to papa?”

“Ngak. Later if Nolan has come home.”

“Good. Papa wait at home.”

“Eumm.”

Call ended. Nolan heaved a sigh of relief after knowing his papa was already at home. He had resolved to talk a long time ago with his father, tonight. If necessary they do not sleep and talk about the problem of misunderstanding that occurred for years.

“Who's phone?”

“Papa.”

Caca smelled a smile. It turned out that Nolan looked timid when answering Caca's question.

“I also want to talk to you, Ca.”

Caca's happy mood makes his tone too active. “Ya already, want to say what.”

Nolan cut the end of the shirt he was wearing. He stared at his ten toes that were moving uncomfortably due to nervousness.

“I,”

Caca was still watching.

“I,”

Caca said he heard Nolan only talk about me and me twice.

“Why you?” caca began to be impatient. Nolan, meanwhile, is still busy searching for a word that Caca will not understand until he leaves the house. “Nol—”

“Me Gustas Tu!” []
