Mission to Save the Heart
18. A Pack of Cigarettes And Fire Lighters

THIS MORNING I got a turn to do a routine raid done once a week. It just so happened that Riri and I had the task of checking out the XI class of MIA 1, my own class. Before we got into the classroom, Riri and I had already agreed for each of us to check out the two rows of tables. And I am very confident that my class is clean of all kinds of items or attributes that are prohibited from being brought to the school area. However, all that before I checked the contents of the brown bag that is often carried by Lunar, considering how surprised my brain nerves were when I found a pack of cigarettes and matches stored on the sidelines of his bag.

And it's not just me who's feeling a tremendous panic. But it was also lunar fog when I removed the two unusual objects from his bag. “Oath! It's not mine, Zeev!” Lunar screeched with a face that was clear, making the whole view point at us.

“You are smoking, Lunar?” ask Mr. Darto, my homeroom teacher who happens to be teaching today.

“No, sir! I can't smoke!” the Lunar objection is full of emphasis.

“Keep why the item could be in your bag?” ask Mr. Darto, need a valid explanation from the girl.

“Yes, I don't know either, sir! But, obviously it's not mine!” Lunar convicts because he feels he has been accused in the most unfair way.

“But, the proof is already in your bag, Lunar! Now you come with Zeev and face Gina's mom in the counselling room!” banish Mr. Darto firmly without the slightest bit of mercy.

Nalarku said that Mr. Darto's actions were correct because he had followed the rules and procedures that apply in this school. However, my heart also could not bear when I had to drag Lunar out with my own accomplices. On the other hand, my position as the head of OSIS, which will always be admired and imitated by all students in this school, makes me not have much choice but to let Lunar do the examination process in the counseling room. And inevitably, like it or not, I still have to do it despite the Lunar.

“Zeev! That cigarette ain't mine! I can even guarantee that there are no fingerprints on the cigarette!” reveal the Lunar while expressing his grievances with the most desperate intonation.

“If you don't have lo, you don't have to be afraid. Lo follow the procedure.”, I said, giving the only best advice from the disaster that is happening to the Lunar.

Lunar no longer replied to me or complained about the injustice that had befallen her. He spoke only a thousand languages and was cooperative until finally Lunar had to face Gina in four eyes in the counseling room because I was not allowed to accompany Lunar until the interrogation process was completed. Therefore, I was forced to leave the Lunar alone because I had to continue the subjects. Although throughout the Citizenship Education class, my small brain can not focus on absorbing the material given by Mr. Darto.
