Mission to Save the Heart

Mission to Save the Heart
3. Back To The Past

“Kok, are you here?” asked the boy with the glasses to me.

“Lho! Brother Jo himself why is he here? Isn't your sister in college?” I found my cousin in the same class.

“What, the hell are you? Brother Jo, haven't graduated!” sahut brother Jo, put his backpack next to my chair. “That's back to class! Hold the bell in, you know!” her word.

I was silently trying to process the information Jojo gave me. However, my brain which only has a speed of 40 Kbps is still made to not understand.

“Emang my class where?” my search.

“Ih, why are you, anyway? Amnesia?” astonished Brother Jo with a thousand question marks that radiated from the look of his eyes. “Your class is right, in XI MIA 1.”

XI MIA 1'S. The class that was my class a year ago. Is that a sign in this dream that I will return to class with Zeev? Considering me and Zeev only met classmates in our second year in High School. Yeah, whatever it is! As long as I'm still dreaming then I'll just follow the flow of these sleeping flowers until mom wakes me up. I rushed to the classroom where Zeev was.

“Lunar! Where the hell are you, lo?” cry Viona. It seems that he has been waiting for my arrival ever since.

“Gak go nowhere.” as good as I can, put the backpack on the third table as when I was in the eleventh grade first.

“Lo why the hell, today, huh? Wrong taking medication?” from her expression and intonation, it seemed that Viona was asking in the most serious way. He even stuck his back tag on my forehead to measure my body temperature. “Lo is crazy, have you kissed Zeev in the school field? Everyone is now again on the buzz of the gosipin lo, Lunar!”

Viona's words reminded me of what happened a few minutes ago. For some reason this finger suddenly touched the tiny soft surface on my face, remembering the sensation that previously landed sweetly up here. Just imagining it back makes me happy.

“Si anjir even grin!” Viona hit the table so it melted my beautiful daydream. “Lo why so desperate, Nar? Okay, if you just shoot, gapapa! After all, a lot of girls who shot Zeev first but were immediately rejected! This is the only problem why do you take nyium Zeev everything? In front of Zeevers again!” to put it simply, going in and out of my listener's senses without permission.

“Udah, just calm down! Now the most important thing is Zeev! Where's zeev? How, don't you look?” I tried to shift the topic because I was reluctant to buy time to just give Viona an explanation. Both my views are even now surfing to find a Zeev.

“Tightness head lo!” this pony-tied girl in front of me. It turns out that Viona in the real world and in the dream was equally annoying. “Zeev, today there is a National Mathematical Olympiad Selection! He went with another group of olympic children, lah!”

Viona's answer then managed to slap sanity. Even in this dream, Zeev still follows the Olympics. Does Zeev want to make a more beautiful ending by bringing victory in this Olympic selection? Was Zeev so desperate that he told me this through a dream? It seems that I can't just wake up before I can say goodbye to Zeev.

In the end I was made to wait for six hours which strangely felt like six hundred years stuck in a vacuum. Not because I'm afraid it has been the most exciting spectacle of the century when I had to cross paths with the Zeevers – as the Zeev – fans I met in class, in the cafeteria, in the hallways, even in the toilet. But I was gambled by the magic of time that went too normally as if the real world and the dream world were indeed going hand in hand.

However, I kept trying as carefully as possible in waiting for Zeev until the time came when I heard that Zeev had returned to school with several other Olympic participants. And strangely I was still surprised when I heard that Zeev had failed in the final stages of the National Mathematical Olympiad Selection. My poor Zeevku must be raging in his mind now. And I had to go to him to comfort him and say goodbye to him.

“Zeev, can you come with me for a minute?” I asked the young man who looked lethargic.

“But you won't do anything weird again, will you?” ideally, it made me immediately understand where Zeev was headed.

“No, no! I promise! I will not macem-macem and just want to chat with you.” obviously me with the most serious gaze.

At that time I may not be able to get close to Zeev, considering all this time I was just adamant to be a fan of Zeev's secret who always looked at him from afar. However, for the first and last time I wanted to break that restriction. I don't want Zeev to not know that there are so many people who love him and will always be by his side no matter what.

“Lunar?” zeev asked, his baritone voice entering amiably in my eardrum. “This we want to go as far as where else? Can you not talk here?” zeev suggested, considering that we are now in a third-floor hallway away from the crowd.

“OK. Mm mm... So, gini Zeev.” I'm a little wondering how to explain it. “I know that you are sad right now. But, not being able to participate in the math Olympics to the national level does not mean for you to be a failure. Everyone is proud of you, Zeev. Teachers, teachers, even your parents, are all proud of your struggles. So, you don't feel like failing or failing anymore, huh? Me and everyone will always remember you and your doain.” I explained, letting our pair of neutrals have a tear in each other.

“Iya, I'll inget it. Thank you, Nar.” replied Zeev, publishing a smile as warm as the sun that is perhaps the sweetest smile I can make until one day we are reunited.

“Now you can go quietly right, Zeev?” my rhetorical question slowly made Zeev smile lifeless. “Therefore I also had trouble to accept your departure. If you could go somewhere better. I will also try to continue living as best I can.”

Again Zeev speaks only a thousand languages. However, I can understand the meaning of the look in Zeev's eyes that spoke.

I hugged Zeev's tall body for the last time while saying “Makasih, yes you have been present in my life. I'm so happy to have met you.” I ignored my hand and then passed with the sound of “Goodbye, Zeev!” unknowingly, my inner circle had plunged straight perfectly.

In the end, I decided to give up this beautiful dream. I honestly still want to be with Zeev. However, indulging desires will never be endless, it will only make my conscience dwarfed. And I will try to understand and learn that not everything I want I have to get, as Zeev who decided to disappear from my world but will remain immortal in the depths of my heart.

Now I just need to jump free while closing my eyes, right? Like my dreams that have stopped, after this I will wake up by myself when I fall to resume life. Therefore, I let these two legs lose their balance in the presence of the connecting steps between the third and second floors. I too hunglai while closing my eyes.

However, one of my arms gained such a huge pull that it thwarted my wake experiment, causing this body to fall into Zeev's warm embrace. Now I can feel Zeev's heartbeat beating in an irregular manner. Yes, I can really hear and feel the pounding of life in Zeev's chest. Zeevku's beating! Zeevku ticking?

Suddenly, Zeev pushed my body away using both arms that he placed on my shoulders, stopping my activities in observing Zeev's heartbeat.

“Lo crazy, huh? Danger tau!” zeev's face was red, a sight I had never seen before from Zeev's face. “If I don't catch your hand, you might be wretched, Lunar!”

My hippocampus seems to have just discovered an awkwardness. Nothing comes to my mind other than saying “Zeev? You still alive?” in disbelief.

“Yes, I'm alive! The new one almost died! You realize not, anyway?” timpal Zeev along with the most unfriendly tone I heard from his lips this time.

So why am I still here for so long? Am I stuck in Zeev's dimension? However, it seems impossible, considering everything I see is so natural and real without the slightest bit of supernatural entities. Am I stuck in my own dreams? However, the probability is also small, because if you remember there is no magic thing while time is spinning as it should. Then, why did I suddenly wake up and be able to meet Zeev again?

“Zeev? What date is it?” my investigation was to ascertain the validity of the smallest assumption I had.

“Twenty-three April.” reply. “Why? Don't tell me you forgot that today we want no surprise for Hasna?” that feedback just gave me the most valid answer.

I went back four months ago!
