Eiji vs Gaara part 1

After Kazegake (definitely not Orochimaru) convinces Hiruzen to wait until Sasuke arrives, the next match is advanced.

The next game is Kankuro vs Shino!

But Kankuro immediately withdrew, as he thought, revealing the hidden mechanisms of his puppets could jeopardize their plans later on.

So now it's Shikamaru and Temari's turn.

Naruto pushed Shikamaru in doubt and the match began!

Of course, Shikamaru lost at the end, which made Temari the winner, just like in the original timeline.

Naruto then jumped onto the stage to shout furiously at Shikamaru.

While Naruto scolded the irked Shikamaru, it was decided that they would continue to delay Sasuke's match.

There was only one more match they could improve on, and that was Gaara vs Eiji!

"Gaara, I doubt I need to tell you this, but you must not lose until you face Sasuke in the next round, or it will be a problem for our plans.." - Kankuro.

Meanwhile, on the audience stage, Tenten wore a worried expression: 'So this is really you, Eiji? What happened to you after disappearing for 2 weeks with no news?'

Eiji and Gaara faced each other, but before Genma could start the match, Eiji asked Gaara: "You know, I want to ask you for some time now? Do you want to rebel against society? or something?"

Meanwhile, Eiji, who had all this time divided some of his attention to his surroundings, slightly smiled: "It seems like they have finally arrived. So how about increasing the pressure and forcing the enemy to move? In the meantime, I can use the time until they start acting, to try to use Sage Mode in actual combat."
