Mom, Why Am I Different?
Chapter 16

Today I deliberately woke up a little bit during the day, other than being tired all day away with Luna. However, also because today happened to be my working holiday at Miss Santi's house. While I was still asleep in my sleep, I was suddenly startled by the sound of knocking from outside the house.

"Good morning!" yelled at someone from outside the house. 

"Yes for a moment" I answered while wearing a jacket to cover my nightgown.

"Good morning, is this really Mother Rani's house?" ask the person who is a courier.

"Yes, myself" I replied to the courier.

"This is a letter from the religious court" he said, giving a brown envelope inscribed with the religious court of West Java.

"Thank you, sir" I said, receiving a letter from the courier's hand.

After the courier left my house. I closed the door and sat down on the living room sofa. I slowly opened the brown envelope and began to read the contents of the letter inside.

"Alhamdulillah, finally Mas Niko and I are officially divorced, now is the time for me to start my new life with Luna," I continued to hold and see the letter in my hand.

During the day when Luna began to wake up from her sleep I immediately asked her to take a shower and prepare. The plan is today I want to take him to a pharmacy to buy a hearing aid. After arriving at a pharmacy I immediately handed a prescription to an officer so that he prepared the hearing aid I needed.

"Mother, I'm hungry" said Luna, holding her stomach. 

"Patience, dear, we wait for the medicine first after that we eat fried chicken," persuaded me while holding my back and hugging Luna.

"Prep on behalf of Luna's son!" shouted one of the dispensary employees who sat at the cashier. 

"You wait here, I want to go to the cashier first" I told Luna, sitting her in the chair.

"Yes Ma'am," I replied as I walked towards the cashier.

"It's a hearing aid, and it's got the vitamin to drink as well, so it's 700 thousand rupiah in total" explained the officer, showing him a device and vitamins from inside a plastic bag.

After paying for the recipe, I walked over to Luna. While starting to hold her I immediately put the tool in my daughter's right ear. Looks different from Luna who was originally just silent now began to look around her.

"Why are you, and what is Luna looking for?" I asked Luna with curiosity.

"Rame ya ma'am, talk a lot" he replied with a happy smile.

"Alhamdulillah, O Allah" I said, embracing Luna's small body, weeping behind her back.

"Mother, Luna is hungry," suddenly Luna whines again.

"Then now we eat fried chicken huh," take me while holding him out of the pharmacy.

While I was happy with my sweat money and the divorce papers I just received this morning. Niko was upset and angry with Sarah and Niken for taking care of our divorce papers. While still holding the divorce papers he immediately walked to meet Niken and the mother who was enjoying a television show in the family room.

"You two did this to me! And you are Niken now you can have me completely," cried Niko as she threw the paper into Niken's lap 

"Finally now you and the poor woman are officially divorced, Mama is very happy with this news," Sarah replied as she read the envelope.

"Did you say I was crazy? Yes I am crazy, crazy because I love you too much" replied Niken as he stood up and walked over to Niko.

"Mama also does not feel tormenting you, Mama and the late Papa are just trying to give you a suitable partner as well as happiness," Sarah replied as she looked into Niko's eyes sharply.

"My happiness! Mama should know that my happiness is that Rani is not a woman**** this," Niko snapped while yelling at Sarah.

"Plak," suddenly Niken slapped Niko in the face very hard.

"You can hate me, but never insult me with your foul mouth" Niken said, pointing at Niko's face with her index finger. 

"Don't you ever point at my face like that or I'll slap you" Niko said as she began slapping Niken. 

"Niko stop!" snapped Sarah while shouting and holding her son's hand.

"Let's just Ma, let him slap me as he pleases I'm sure a man like him can only speak without daring to act!" niken shouted while looking at her husband's face.

"You're going" said Niko, shaking her mother's hand and leaving the living room.

After Niko left the living room and came out of the house. Sarah and Niken sat down with their hearts still beating. With a smile, Sarah leaned her body onto the sofa.

"Niko and the poor woman are finally divorced" Sarah said, leaning on the sofa with a sigh of relief.

"Yes Ma, that way now I can have Mas Niko completely without feeling like a second wife or actor" replied Niken with a sly smile.

"You're right, but Mama still doubts if Niko can leave Rani and the deaf child, yes even though they are officially divorced," Sarah said as she stared at the television show.

"You mean Mama Mas Niko will still see Rani and her son even though they're divorced?" niken asked, looking at Sarah.

"Yes if just to meet it is not a problem, but Mama is sure Niko will persuade Rani to return to him," said Sarah while looking to think.

"Is it possible that divorced people will reunite?" asked Niken curiously.

"It could be, let alone the signature you gave the lawyer that was not Niko's real signature, Mama knew her ingenuity she would figure out a way to get all her wishes," clearly Sarah while looking at Niken's face.

"So Mas Niko will figure out a way through that signature," guessed Niken with a slightly frightened face.

"If it's true that stupid man found out about the signature, I could be charged with forgery of one's identity" Niken said with a frightened face.

For a moment Niken was silent thinking about all Sarah said to him. Indeed, all signatures and divorce papers of both parties are his work. Fear, and worry began to pervade his mind.

"Then what we have to do Ma, Niken does not want to go to prison because of this," Niken told Sarah.

"You take it easy Mama has a good idea to save you, but you have to agree whatever idea you give," Sarah replied with a smile to Niken.

"What idea is Ma?" ask Niken curiously.

Sarah immediately whispered into Niken's ear enthusiastically. Looks Niken began to nod his head as if he understood what his in-laws whispered. However, Niken was immediately surprised when Sarah suggested an idea that Niken thought was very silly.
