Chapter 21

Niken hopes that the used sanitary napkin in her bathroom has not been seen by her husband. Niko, who is suspicious of the sanitary napkin she found in the bathroom, goes straight to an obstetrician at one of the hospitals. Niko started to get into the doctor's room.

"Good afternoon Doc" Niko said as she opened the door and entered the doctor's room.

"Good day sir, let's sit down, please" replied the obstetrician while letting Niko sit down.

Niko then explained her intentions and goals to the doctor. After listening to Niko's explanation. The doctor begins to explain about pregnancy and blockage of the fallopian tubes.

"Have you and your wife ever done a baby tube check or program?" ask the doctor to Niko who looks very confused.

"Not Doc yet" Niko answered briefly.

"Then this is the case tomorrow invite your Wife here, I am worried that the bleeding is not menstruation" explained the doctor.

"Doctors mean how is it, if not menstrual blood what is blood?" ask Niko while curious.

"If your wife is pregnant, I'm afraid it's bleeding that will harm the fetus, or miscarriage bleeding," the doctor replied to Niko.

Hearing the explanation Obstetrician Niko was immediately surprised. He immediately asked Permission to go home to take his wife to the hospital. Niko who is worried about the child in the womb Niken immediately drove her car quickly.

"Ma, Mama!" niko called her mother.

"What's wrong, why are you screaming" Sarah replied as she walked out of the living room. 

"Where's Niken Ma?" asked Niko with a panicked face.

"Some, it looks like he's sleeping in the room. What's the matter until you look so panicked?" ask Sarah in confusion.

"Here Ma, someone wants Niko to tell Mama," replied Niko as she pulled her mother's hand towards the Sofa.

"What the hell is it," said Sarah with a feeling of wonder at the attitude of her son.

"Yesterday when I went to the bathroom I accidentally kicked my leg in the garbage can, and when I was going to tidy up the trash into where I found a used sanitary pad," Niko explained to make Sarah surprised.

"Oh my goodness Niken, how careless you are how can she throw such careless pads," Sarah's mind as she looked at Niko who was still giving an explanation.

"The plan is I will take Niken to the hospital, because honestly after hearing the explanation of the doctor I became very worried about the state of the child in the womb Niken," said Niko worriedly.

"What should I explain to Niko, this is all because of the stupid son-in-law's carelessness" Sarah said, looking upset.

"Ma, Mama," called Niko to surprise her mother.

"You don't have to worry, so tomorrow Mama who goes to the obstetrician who used to handle Mama's labor," explained Sarah with a little nervous.

"Mama is sure the doctor will examine Niken properly," asked Niko as if she did not believe what Sarah said.

"You have calmed down, trust Mama. It's better now that you go in and rest," Sarah orders while pushing Niko's body into the room.

The next day after Niko left for her father's estate company. Sarah immediately pulled Niken's hand and invited her into the room. While looking upset Sarah immediately asked Niken about a used sanitary pad that Niko found.

"It turns out Mas Niko saw the sanitary napkin," said Niken while surprised.

"Why can you be this reckless as Niken," Sarah told Niken standing up.

"I'm sorry Niken Ma, I really don't know" Niken replied with a panicked face.

"Then what should I do Ma," asked Niken with a little worry.

"From now on you follow all Mama's orders, don't argue this all for the sake of your future and Niko's" Sarah said in an annoyed tone.

In a separate place my efforts are getting more and more crowded. Even within one day I could make a net profit of 300 to 400 thousand. The stories I write are starting to like a lot of people. 

"Luna!" I shouted while carrying an empty container of my former sales.

"Yes Ma'am," Luna replied as she exited the room.

"Honey, please take care of the stall first yes, I want to go inside to take some dishes that have been exhausted.

"Yes Ma'am," Luna replied as she walked to the stall and sat down on the chair while playing her beloved doll.

"Assalamualaikum," said Niko who suddenly came.

"Waalaikumsalam,Father!" luna shouted as she saw Niko coming while carrying some bags of groceries for Luna.

"Mother where?" ask Niko while using sign language.

"Dad, I can already hear clearly, because Mother has bought me this tool," explained Luna while showing off her hearing device.

"You just came Mas," I asked Niko when I was in the shop.

"It was 5 minutes ago, you've changed a lot now" Niko said as she stood up and walked towards me.

"Nothing has changed, everything remains the same as it used to be. It's just that I want to try to make my daughter happy with halal sweat" I replied while busying myself.

I deliberately busied myself when Niko approached me. Because I don't want to hear seduction and stories about our past. For me it was pretty neatly stored in my heart without needing to be pushed back.

"Sir" came the voice of someone calling out to me.

"Yes Mas?" I asked the two men standing in front of the food storefront.

"Mixed rice with 2 sweet iced tea, eat here yes, he replied while sitting in a chair with one of his friends.

I immediately left Niko who was still standing beside me. I started serving some guests who came to enjoy their lunch. After Niko finished, hold my hand and make me instantly surprised.

"Can we talk for a second?" asked Niko while holding my hand.

"Sorry Mas, I'm busy" I replied as I let Niko's hand off my hand.

"I beg you, just for a moment because there's something I want to ask you" Niko said, pleading with me.

I asked Niko to wait in the living room. And promised to meet him after I served some guests who wanted to have lunch at my stall. My house is a small village far from the road. However, because there are so many boarding houses and rented so many students who live in the area.

"Now quickly tell me what you want to tell me" I said as I sat on the sofa.

"I ... I want to tell you about Niken," Niko replied with a sense of contempt.

"About Niken, what happened to him" I asked while curious.
