Mom, Why Am I Different?
Chapter 5

“Luna wait here first yes dear," I said while releasing Luna's embrace.

After letting go of Luna's embrace, I walked forward to see who was yelling at my house. It looks like a young and beautiful woman, when viewed from her appearance, she looks like a respectable and educated woman. Slowly I began to approach the woman who from earlier shouted in front of my house to make all the surrounding residents come out.

"Sorry Ma'am who is it, and why is it screaming in front of my house," I asked kindly.

"Basic Whore, can't you get a single man until you take my husband to be the father of your deaf son!" she shouted that she made everyone gather in my yard.

"I'm sorry what you mean" I asked in surprise. 

"Don't pretend not to know, you must be Niko's mistress" the woman replied, shouting. 

"Niko, so you're my husband's new wife" I replied with a smile.

"I was originally here to look for my husband, but after I found out he was married I had no intention of looking for him, you could ask the whole community here if I opened the door for him, instead, I always throw him out every time he comes to see our daughter" I explained casually.

"Movie!" a man shouted from behind.

"Mas Niko, what else does he want to come here," my mind while looking at Mas Niko who walked towards the woman named Niken.

"What are you doing here" Mas Niko asked as she pulled Niken's hand away from my house.

"I just wanted to warn this bitch not to tease you" Niken snapped while pointing at me standing at the door.

"Plakk," suddenly Mas Niko slapped Niken's cheek hard.

"So your mouth, as long as you know that the woman you call a prostitute is the Mother of my son and she is still my legal wife religiously and nationally!" niko snapped as if defending me.

"So actually you guys ..." Niken has not finished his words Niko immediately answered him.

"Yes before marrying you I was already married to Rani, and we had a daughter. I left Rani because of the threat of my parents wanting to hurt both of them" Niko explained as she approached me.

"It's better to finish your business at home, because I want to open a stall and another one quickly you take care of our farewell letter, because I don't want this to happen again," I said as I walked into the house and closed the door. 

At that time I could only cry hearing Mas Niko's words, it turned out that all this time he only wanted to try to protect me and Luna from the cruelty of her parents. Luna who was then walking towards the living room immediately hugged me while crying a mouthful. While wiping my tears Luna began to ask about the commotion that occurred.

"Mother, is it true that good Om is Luna's father,” asked Luna while wiping my tears.

“Yes Allah, it turns out that Luna heard what Mas Niko said to Niken, my inner” while nodding.

Luna who was sitting on my lap immediately stood up and opened my door. While crying, she starts chasing after Niko and Niken who have left by car. I who saw him cry while chasing after Niko immediately ran after Luna. 

"Dad!" luna shouted as she continued to run after Niko's car.

"Luna! Stop darling," I shouted as I followed Luna.

"Dad wait, Luna misses Daddy!" luna shouted as she continued to run and cry. 

 After running far away I managed to hug Luna from behind. I continued to calm Luna who continued to cry while shouting to call her father. What is in my heart right now is only regret. 

"I'm sorry, Mom Son, it's all Mom's fault" I said, hugging Luna.

"Let's meet Dad, yes, now we go home first" I replied while holding Luna. 

Since that incident Mas Niko has never seen Luna again. Almost every day Luna was always pensive on the terrace of the house just to wait for the arrival of Mas Niko. Until one day Luna who had missed her father suddenly fell ill, making her forced to be treated in the hospital. 

Almost every day Luna called her father's name in her sleep. The heart of the mother who does not hurt when hearing the child continues to mention the name of the father even though in a sleeping condition. Until I was forced to dare to meet Mas Niko at his home.

"Assalamualaikum," I said while knocking on Mas Niko's door.

"Waalaikumsalam, who would you like to find" asked a middle-aged woman when she opened the door.

"I'm Rani, if Mas Niko is home" I asked the woman I don't know.

"Oh Den Niko, Ma'am who let me call inside" he replied kindly.

"Say Rani came to look for him" I replied with a smile.

"Then please sit down Ma'am, I call Den Niko first," he replied as he passed away leaving me.

"Who is coming Mbok," suddenly I heard the voice of a woman from inside the house.

"There are guests who are looking for Den Niko Madam" replied the woman who is familiarly called Mbok.

I was waiting for Mas Niko anxiously in the living room. Suddenly surprised by the voice of a woman from inside the house. Surprised, I turned to the voice. 

"You want to be here!" a woman snaps me to my surprise. 

"Mama," I replied as I turned towards the voice.

"Mama, just so you know whenever I never acknowledge you as my daughter-in-law!" snapped Sarah to Rani.

"Sorry Ma I just ..." I'm not done yet I replied Sarah directly pulled me out of her house.

"Quickly get out of this house! And remember never to set foot in this house" Sarah snapped as she pulled my hand toward the door. 

“I beg Ma, let me meet Mas Niko for a moment,” I said while pleading with My In-laws.

“I will never allow you to meet with Niko, now quickly get out of here,” Sarah replied as she pushed my body to the floor.

After pushing me Sarah shut and locked the door. I who felt that I failed to meet Mas Niko immediately walked over to return to the hospital. Niko, who had just come down from her room, was immediately astonished when she saw her mother in a state of panic.

“Indeed who was looking for me Ma,” asked Niko while looking for the whereabouts of the guests who were looking for her.

“Oh no, it was just a person who wanted to ask for donations for earthquake victims,” Sarah replied in panic while walking away from Niko.

“Request a donation, but why do I know my name and why Mama looks nervous, there must be something wrong in this house," inner Niko while sitting on the living room sofa.
