Mom, Why Am I Different?
Chapter 4

“Luna," I shouted calling my little daughter's name.  

"Mother," Luna replied as she let go of her embrace to the man.  

At that time I just saw who the man who often met my little daughter.  A face I will never forget in my entire life. The man who is now in front of me is Mas Niko's husband who left me 5 years ago. 

"Mas Niko," I said silently as if I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"Rani, so this Luna," said Niko puzzled. 

"Yes he is the child you left behind 5 years ago, a disabled child who only embarrassed you," I replied as I began to shed tears.

"Why do you cry, do you know this Om," asked Luna while looking at me.

"No son, now we go home, yes" I replied, holding my little daughter's hand.

"Kim!" yelled Mas Niko while chasing me.

I did not care about Mas Niko's shout, I continued walking towards Ruamah while holding Luna's hand. Many times Luna looked back to see Mas Niko who kept chasing us. When I got home, I closed my door and locked it from the inside.

"Rani, please listen to my explanation!" mas Niko shouted as he continued to knock on my door. 

"Mother, who is this? why does he keep chasing us," asked Luna curiously.

"Luna now goes inside and changes clothes, baby" I replied with a smile.

After Luna went inside I went straight out to meet Mas Niko who was still shouting in front of my house. I directly pulled Mas Niko's hand away from the house. Mas Niko immediately explained about what he had done to me and Luna. 

“I beg you to forgive me Rani, at that time I was really forced to leave you,” Mas Niko said as she pleaded.

“You are not forced, I know a man from a rich family like you will not be able to live in poverty,” I replied as I turned my back to Mas Niko.

“I did that for our good,” he said as he walked in front of me.

“Our kindness, it is only for your good, you see your appearance now an appearance of a handsome and very well-sufficient conglomerate,” I explained while crying.

“What is true Luna is my daughter,” asked while looking at me sharply. 

“Your daughter, since when did you become a father to Luna. Luna is my biological daughter, I am pregnant, giving birth and even taking care of her until now,” obviously me with a tone filled with emotion.

“Mother!” suddenly, Luna's voice called out to me.

“You better get out of here and never see Luna again,” I said as I walked away from Mas Niko who was still silent.

Tonight my eyes are hard to shut, somehow Mas Niko's sharp gaze is still visible in my eyes. A look of regretful eyes seemed to be unwilling to leave my mind. At first glance I looked at Luna who was already asleep in her sleep.

“What should I do at the moment, do I have to tell the truth to Luna, my inner” while wiping Luna's hair.

The next day I did my day by reopening my simple food stall. Luna, who was not in school at that time, was busy with her favorite television show. While I was busy serving customers I was surprised by Mas Niko's arrival at my food stall. 

“Excuse me, I want to order rice mix 1 eat here yes Mbak,” said Mas Niko while sitting in a chair.

“Om good!” shouted Luna who suddenly came out and immediately hugged Mas Niko whom she knew as Om well.

“Luna Om has a gift for Luna,” he said while giving a teddy bear and a small box to Luna.

“This is what Om,” asked Luna while opening the small box that Niko gave her.

“This is installed here Om sure after this Luna can definitely hear clearly, replied Niko while installing a listening device in Luna's ear.

After my customer left I immediately approached Luna and removed the hearing device and robbed the doll in her arms. I also asked Luna to enter the house. Luna who looked happy was now crying from the clash.

“Now quickly go inside!” my mind while removing the hearing device attached to his ear.

“But the Bu ’kan ...” is not finished Luna replied I directly cut her speech.

“Quick go inside now!” I shouted while snapping at her to make Luna cry and ran into the house.

“Bring these things and quickly get away from my house now,” I said as I threw the things Niko gave to Luna.

“You can't just kick me out, because I'm also the father of Luna,” replied Niko standing up.

“Dad, why only now do you admit that Luna is your son,” my question while smiling cynically in front of Niko.

“As long as you know I fought for Luna's life, I took care of her alone and now after 5 years you leave easily you say you're her father!” I cried in front of Niko. 

“Iya I know this is my fault, but at least give me a chance to ...” unfinished Niko explains I saved it right away.

“For what, to further hurt us, or to atone for your sins. Not that you are happy with your new life then why you meet Luna again,” my question in a high tone.

“I'm sure you must have a new family with another woman, and have a child who can make you more proud" I added.

"I don't have children from my current marriage, my wife is unable to have children due to a blockage to her uterus" Niko explained as she sat in one of the chairs. 

"O Allah, what is this thing called karma" I turned to Niko.

"Oh so that's why you went to see Luna, because your new wife can't give you offspring, it's a proper reply to an irresponsible father like you," I said as I walked away from Mas Niko. 

Since then Mas Niko often came to visit Luna even though many times I also kicked him out of my house. After I bathed Luna. We rushed to the market to shop for food stalls. After coming from the market I immediately cleaned my food stall with the help of Luna who at that time could only wipe a few chairs. 

I'm the one who went inside the house to pick up some cooking utensils. Suddenly I heard a loud scream from outside. Luna who was busy cleaning the chair immediately ran towards me while crying.

"What's the matter, son," I asked as I hugged the frightened Luna.

"That's Mom, Luna was scared," said Luna crying and pointing at the door.

"Eh bitch out you!" there was the sound of a woman screaming from outside.

"The prostitute," my inner self while releasing Luna's embrace.
